Big W and Kmart will probably have them for around $120 each... this is why I would't buy anthing from Lego themselves (unless it's an exclusive), their prices are way too expensive here in Australia, Many other stores have them for cheaper. The big D2Cs are ridicuously expensive here though, as usually only Lego and Myer (our biggest department store) ever sell them. Is it like this in other countries though? People here always talk about buying from Lego stores or Shop@Home, but in Australia there seems no reason to unless it's an exclusive ot there's at GWP?

I think it would be too small, compared tko the microfigs.

I'm pretty sure Voldemort's robes are greenish in all films from Goblet of Fire onward. They just look different in different lighting.

There are lots of characters we haven't got yet: Ginny, Fred, George, Molly, Arthur, Bill, Percy, Tonks, Kingsley, Kreacher, Lockhart, Myrtle, Lucius Malfoy, Narcissa Malfoy, Bellatrix, more death eaters, more students, eg Crabbe, Goyle, Lavender, Patil twins... there's loads!

The Astronomy tower is stated to be the tallest in the books, while the Grand staircase tower is the tallest in the films until HBP, when the Astronomy tower was added.

Diagon Alley doesn't appear in films 3 or 4, I suspect we will get it next year for Half Blood Prince. I hope they do Weasley's Wizard Wheezes! I could see them doing Diagon Alley for HBP and then a seperate Gringotts for DH, with the dragon, and maybe even some roller coaster pieces! We don't know what Lego will actually do though, we just have to wait and see.

For Advent calenders, The Slug Club Christmas party could be used, or you could theme one around the Burrow or Grimmauld place. There are Christmas scenes in every book and film, so plenty to draw from.

It seems that WB has purchased the rights to Cursed Child, but beyond that it's all just rumours, nothing's been oficially anounced. Maybe they're planning a Cursed Child film after they're done with FB. They bettet not screw us over by not finishing FB though....

Madam Hooch has 3 costumes: Great Hall, Flying Lesson, Quidditch Referee. We got the Quidditch version. They could do a variant of her if they wanted.

The pointy hood death eaters also appear at the Quiddtch world cup.

What I don't get is why they gave Draco and Luna light yellow hair, instead of the tan that Draco and Lucius have in past years (and Luna has in the video game as well). It looks so much better than the yellow!

I don't see why there would be an issue with a DC CMF, we had two series of the Lego Batman Movie after all, and Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts are a Warner Bros lisence as well. Marvel or Star Wars would be more suprising, but they'll probably happen eventually too.

I recall the Knight Bus being rumoured last year, even though it didn't happen until this year...O_o

People want Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Quidditch robes because they are representedin the Quidditch set. Also the quidditch match in the third film is against Hufflepuff, and Cedric is their captain. CMF Neville has mid legs even though he's from COS. But even if they were short legs you could switch them with mid legs from Harry, Ron and Hermione from S1, there's no house colour on the legs.

It seems to be mainly Grindelwald's Escape that's not selling, although Newt's Case sharing all four of it's figs with CMF probably didn't help sales, but it doesn't seem to be selling as badly as Grindlewald's Escape. Crimes of Grindelwald wasn't very well recieved and the theastral carriage only appeared in like the first five minutes... I mainly bought the set for the thestral, myself. I doubt Lego any more FB sets now, which is a shame as I'd like a young Dumbledore fig to go with Grindelwald! Figs I'd like see in a second HP CMF... Ginny, Fred w/Marauders Map, George w/Firework, Luna w/Lion Hat, Quidditch Cho, Quidditch Cedric, Madam Pomfrey, Lockhart w/quill and signed picture of himself, Prof. Sprout, Tonks, Kingsley, Werewolf Lupin, Dudley W/Pig Tail and cake, Rita Skeeter. Colin Creevey with his camera and a photo of Harry maybe? Since Harry, Ron and Hermione are obligatory, I'd love to see them in their polyjuice'd variants as others have said- put them in Slytherin robes and have Harry and Ron able to change into Crabble and Goyle- So we could get the trio AND Crabbe and Goyle at the same time, plus Slytherin robes- that would make them more desirable than just another outfit, IMO. And Hermione with the cat head and tail would be great too!

I remember hearing that CMF parts can't be used elsewhere for a certain amount of time after release, but are then able to be used. It may be different for licensed CMF though. Edit: and loads of moulds have been introduced in CMF and then used elsewhere. I also seem to remember hearing that there is a distinction between licensed and non-licensed parts, and that licensed parts can only be used in the license they were made for... I have no idea how all this relates to CMFs though, and for every rule there seem to be exceptions...

My Hogwarts as it is currently; consisting of the 2010-11 and 2018 Hogwarts sets (4842 Hogwarts Castle, 4867 Hogwarts, 75954 Great Hall, 75953 Whomping Willow), plus a few extra pieces. I borrowed Ideas from other people's Hogwarts Castles' that I've looked at. the right side of the Castle will be re-done when I get my Clocktower- It's currently in the post! got 16/20 on this quiz, the question about the Diagon alley shops got me as I didn't realise it was talking about the microscale set, and I forgot two sets the the mirror of Erised was in!

I wish everyone would just be patient and get the sets whenever they release in your own country, because there would be lots of people, ecspecially kids and parents as well as more casual fans, who don't follow things as closely as we do. These people would see the sets advertised for release on a certain date, but may not be able to get them because greedy AFOLs from the other side of the world wanted their sets a bit earlier! Here in Australia we are used to getting things- not just Lego- later than the US or elsewhere (Usually the US though- our releases tend to be on par with the UK/Europe), so might we grumble a bit, but we accept that we have to wait- unlike Americans who always seem to complain loudly whenever they're not the first to get something, only for people from other countries to respond with 'but you got other things first'... this has happened a million times before, and will surely happen a million times again... so just be patient!

That Build your own adventure book has some good parts, and looks good for ideas, I'll be getting it when it comes out. The house crest tiles are also in the Quidditch set, not just the D2C Hogwarts. For decorating the great hall, the Advent calender has christmas stuff and Hagrid's hut has pumpkins! I want everything this year except the knight bus, can't wait to get building and redesigh my Hogwarts (Again)!

This happened for me with Doctor Who and Ghostbusters, when Dimensions came out. I'd seen the first ghostbusters movie as a kid but barely remembered it, and was was aware of Doctor Who but had never watched it. Dimensions itself probably wouldn't have intrested me except it had Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. And then I started collecting more packs when they were on sale; I was already famililar with The Lord of the Rings and Back to the Future. (My Mum tried to get me into The Lord of the Rings when I was 11 and the first movie came out, but I was a bit young and got bored with it. I finally got into it when The Hobbit movies came out). So I found myself watching Ghostbusters and Doctor Who! But I also saw one episode of Adventure Time and thought it the stupidest thing I ever saw! (Sorry to anyone who likes it, but...)

More set dressings for Hogwarts sounds good, l'll probably get the advent calender and will probably open it all at once. And I'm going away for two weeks starting in 9 days time, so what's the bet we'll get the announcment and set pics while I'm away? Stuff always seems to happen when I'm away from the internet XD
