I second that. Expect the helicopter set to have one of the longest shelf-lives for a Marvel set. However, I would love to get a set with Taskmaster's APC, Snow Outfit Widow, Red Guardian, and Melina

The SDCC sets usually do not include exclusive figs (or these exclusive figs become common because they release them in polybags). My bet is that we’ll get a set with Black Widow (or the snow outfit that’ll be reused later) and Yelena (Taskmaster is most likely not included).

Depends on if the movie's rated PG-13 or R (which I'm 99% sure is going to be PG-13). No matter how dark the movie is, as long as it's PG-13 we should see Lego sets based on it.

This reminds me of the Lego DC fans freaking out about the DC theme ending because there were no sets for Jan 2020. Due to movies being delayed, Lego is most likely unsure of their release schedule. They don't want another Black Widow situation where the film comes out 8 months after the set (that is assuming the film is not going to be delayed further). I wouldn't worry at all about 2021 for now. For Fox stuff, I seriously doubt they'll do anything with it until Fox Marvel Studios reboots come out.

I love the Riddler costume. I hope we get him in one of the sets.

Speaking of Batman, I think it's very likely that Lego will reuse the D2C Keaton Batman for the Flashpoint sets, meaning that the Keaton figure may be no longer exclusive...

So a new Lego Avengers magazine has been leaked. In the tease for their next issue, there are some Chitauri figures from last year's Endgame sets. Is this a potential tease that Chitauris will be our army-builders for the next Avengers wave?

I honestly would have preferred the game design for MODOK in the helicarrier set. He actually looks cool in the game. That being said, I’m still happy with what we got.

A Funko Pop of the SquareEnix MODOK has been leaked... It looks quite different from the Lego version (the Funko one has large mechanical arms). I’m not sure if Lego MODOK is based on the game anymore

I agree. We definitely need time to save some money after that huge Avengers summer wave, especially considering that the Eternals sets will not be cheap (about $200 in total)

Somewhere deep inside my heart, I’m still praying for Lego to remake some of the Endgame sets now that the movie has been released for more than a year (almost all of the other toy companies are still making movie-accurate Endgame toys). We never had Bro Thor, Worthy Cap, Ronin, or even an accurate Thanos (the best MCU villain got the worst Lego treatment)... Even if they don’t make Endgame-specific sets, they can at least put some MCU-inspired figures in the 2021 sets like how they put Mark 2, Hot Rod, Blue Steel, and MCU Red Skull (and all the MCU references) in this year’s SquareEnix sets... As for the Eternals, since Marvel is uncertain about its release date (we have to first find out when Black Widow comes out), I doubt Lego will show anything about Eternals until the very end of this year at the earliest.

I must agree with this. I feel that other toy companies like making MCU-related products more than Lego does. On the other side, Lego sure loves the SquareEnix game merchandise.

Fox still exists, but is now renamed "20th Century Studios". I'm pretty sure the X-Men will transfer to the MCU without the 20th Century Studios logo playing before the movies. The reason why we still have New Mutants is because those were planned and made before the merger.

I doubt the New Mutants will do a lot to garner public attention. I would say that if Lego doesn't make Fox X-Men movie sets, the earliest time we'll see X-Men sets is when they enter the MCU :(

Honestly, I’m happy the speeder bike didn’t sell well. It was a very mediocre set (another oversized bike). Hopefully this eliminates chances of bad sets in possible upcoming waves

It’s entirely possible for Lego to receive info beforehand. I was just trying to say that now we have definitive proof that Hawkeye is not based on the game. Do we have any info on how well the Avengers sets this year have sold so far? I hope we get Avengers sets in 2021 as well, maybe this time comic/MCU based

This is actually a pretty cool design, but it also proves that not every character from the sets are game-inspired (the Hawkeye from this year's sets looks nothing like this picture). This most likely means that characters who appeared in this year's sets including Thanos, Blazer & Tazer as well as Red Skull are not guaranteed for the game (Blazer, Tazer and Red Skull are clearly MCU inspired).

Even if we get an 18+ Batman set, like the comments above have said we're unlikely to get Joaquin Phoenix Joker or the Batman Who Laughs due to them being too mature and violent for the younger audience. I would, however, love some 18+ remakes of The Dark Knight trilogy sets.
