  1. I love the Endgame Final Battle set, but I agree that in an ideal world, Lego would go even further with it. I'd happily pay $100 for a giant minifig pack with even more characters. However, compared to the 2020 sets, I appreciate this set a lot.
  2. Agreed. The 4 sets are gorgeous
  3. I'm still in disbelief that the winged Deviant is actually from the movie. I thought it was another random build lego came up with...
  4. Finally, we have a wave of lego sets with no random builds. Very happy to see some of the Deviants we saw in the sets appearing in the trailer
  5. Are you serious? Shang-Chi is supposed to combat ignorance and racism. It's extremely disappointing to see that people are still using terms like these that have harmed the Asian community for a long time. Please don't say things like that.
  6. It’s so sad that Shang-Chi, a movie so important to Asians and Asian Americans, is now becoming the next victim of pandemic box office…
  7. NOOOOOOOO I’m gonna cry. At this point it seems like a NWH delay is inevitable :(
  8. If that happens I sure hope they become available in the US
  9. LOL apologies I was not thinking about the Bro Thor set when making the previous argument. I still think more 4+ sets could be a good thing for minifig collectors.
  10. When’s the last time everyone really loved a Marvel build that’s not a relatively expensive set (Sanctum, Bugle, Spider-Man bridge)? As a collector who buys all MCU sets, having 4+ ones like the Mysterio one with great minifigs and low price is perfect. I hope this trend of mixing regular and 4+ sets for movies continues.
  11. Wow the addition of Steppenwolf is awesome. How I wish this was real.
  12. How I wish we got unofficial tie-ins for The Suicide Squad. A Batman/Justice League set with Bloodsport, a new version of Polka Dot Man (since he's already in the Lego Batman movie sets), King Shark, and Starro would be perfect.
  13. Omg I got so scared for a second
  14. Potential spoilers for future Marvel movies below:
  15. I really love those 3 figures though, so I wouldn't want them taken out of the series Still hoping for Agatha in Multiverse of Madness sets, especially since Kevin Feige teased that we'll see her return very soon Also apparently the Shang-Chi polybags are gone? I knew I should have bought more sets to get more copies of that polybag...
  16. My Lego store only had 1 New Asgard set today, so you should probably go as soon as possible
  17. Just got the Endgame final battle. What a beauty
  18. Ok I changed my mind. The AC is kind of adorable and I like it now
  19. It seems like every toy company is making the same characters when it comes to No Way Home: new Spider-Man suits, Strange, Vulture, and Mysterio (I guess people need villain toys for the heroes to fight). This most likely means Marvel/Sony has a specific release strategy for toys when they were working with the toy companies (avoid spoilers). Therefore, I think our chances of getting a wave 2 are extremely high (it’s not one of those cases where other toy companies make a bunch of new characters while Lego only makes a few)
  20. Yup. I don’t personally believe that the lack of a trailer right now is relevant at all. I mentioned it in the previous comment because it is a point of concern that I saw some people had on the Internet. I do think the Delta variant argument is valid, as mentioned above, and I think the question is if case numbers will go down or up as we approach December. As of the sets, delay may be the only option if the movies become delayed as the BW set is disappearing from LEGO stores (at least in my area) mere weeks after the movie’s release. Well, I think it’s because people love and care about the movies and the sets. That’s why they like to speculate, even if some speculations are not entirely accurate, which is unavoidable as no one here is an insider who has worked on these films and sets.
  21. I don’t even wanna think about the possibility of no wave 2 haha
  22. Lol I would say the next safe bet for trailer release is 8/1 (Spider-Man day). I just wonder when we’ll see NWH wave 2 LEGO
  23. I completely agree with you. I don't think a lack of a trailer is a point of concern. Sony likely adopted this "hiding the trailer" strategy to compensate for the fact that many of the film's secrets have become public knowledge. As to COVID, we'll have to see. I doubt this movie will become delayed too much given how Multiverse of Madness must come after it. As for the Lego products, I'm confident that they won't change their release date since most are remakes of sets from previous films.
  24. Yeah, this year's AC is a huge missed opportunity. It's sad when Lego comes up with a fantastic concept, executes it poorly, blames it on the great concept, and cancels that concept.
  25. People are becoming nervous about a possible No Way Home release delay for several reasons, including the lack of a trailer and a rise in Delta variant cases.
