Yes agree. So far I've not come across with separated flagship 1HY or flagship 2HY tag, it's only flagship of the year. For TBD, I think it is still too early to talk about what exactly it is but likely a licensed set that which normally 'TBD' on first info. But I do not expect another licensed motorcycle, hopefully something else that we not usually see or never in the technic line before. Honestly, I looking forward for the IP tractor much more than the backhoe loader as my wish is still a flagship backhoe, been waiting for years & hopefully I no need to wait much longer from now.

The 1:8 supercar was a special subtheme for Technic line, probably people like to call it UCS series and it was just started since 2016, then every 2 years. While set with ‘flagship’ tag happened every year and was started over 20-30 years ago in Technic theme, it might be longer if I mistaken. But the set with ‘flagship’ doesn’t means must be the highest count of pieces or most expensive set of the year. Might be a set of the year that iconic enough to round up the year, so mostly only available for 2HY wave. For example: 2016 - flagship was 42055 BWE but we have UCS 42056 Porsche 911 2017 - flagship was 42070 2018 - flagship was 42082 Big red while we have UCS 42083 Bugatti Etc….

1:8 supercar for technic UCS series likely launch on June-2022, so I think we won’t have the news so early until January-2022… Let’s focus the discussion on 1HY sets first….

Based on my analytics from flagship set since 2000s’ in previous other topic, since this year we have ‘construction vehicle’ CAT bulldozer, so 2022 flagship likely shouldn’t a construction vehicle again, likely it will be a complicated truck, but I don’t want to speculate what it is now. So, that’s why we have backhoe loader on 1HY on 2022. I do hope and waited so long for a flagship backhoe, but seems likely maybe 2023 at least…

Possible but with the new tractor tyre from Jeep or Zetros I believed

As far as I concerned, there is no longer designer video for Technic set since 2018. Only commercial video. If I not wrong, the very last designer video for technic is 42070. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6VSTaFkgEJA&vl=en

But one thing I cannot understand. Why technic set don’t have official lego designer video to introduce the set now? Even a (18+) set…..

This only happy thing for this set is I didnt saw much of sticker…. If true, i will get it…. But size of 40cm width x 48cm long is a headache for space planning….
