I definitely agree with the idea of adding the Batwing mount and how the other sets compliment this one nicely. I look forward to seeing the mods people come up with for the Superheroes sets. I'm contemplating adding a trophy room to this with the new Dino T-Rex as the centerpiece. Great review all around though.

I love that, but it would be nice to be able to use some bubble cockpit windows instead, if those even exist.

I decided to take the plunge and pay a modest $60 for a set on eBay. Seeing as a Toys R Us purchase would've been $10 more and require some massive legwork, and buying from my local Lego store would have required an unknown waiting period and a high tax rate I figured it was worth it. What are the issues that were raised? nvm, I saw the issues with the face printing. I'll check mine out to see if it is noticeable.

That's exactly what I wanted to see. I'm looking at the modular units and I really like them. Did you do the Catwoman apartment with the skylight one?

I was looking to get the various Lego Town Creator sets that are available right now and maybe use them as sets for my Lego Batman sets. Has anyone done this and are there pics? I'm worried that the Creator sets may be a bit too cheery for Gotham so just wanted to get other peoples opinions on it.

I had no idea it was an exclusive... okay. cool. I'll have to get it at my local Lego store. Thanks for the replies.

I was looking into getting this set but obviously it's hard to track down. While perusing the forums I was unable to peg down why it's so rare. Is it the minifigs? Is it the price for what you get? Or is it some other intangible? Or, maybe even all of the above? Just wanted to get some opinions on it. I'm kind of worried that it will stay hard to get so should I take the plunge now or will there be a substantial reprint? Thanks for the discussion.

Thanks, that's some great ideas. It definitely seems like the best thing to get at first is a boatload of Stormies which is easy enough and not too expensive in the grand scheme of things. -

Awesome, that is exactly what I was looking for. I picked up the new tie fighter today and those 3 extra minifigs will be great to implement. I was thinking of getting at least 10 Stormtroopers as well so that is nice to know. I love the idea of putting random minifigs in the conference room as well so thanks for that. -
Oops on the title... I know I've seen it discussed before, but I wanted to see pics and recommendations for what types of figs and how many anybody may recommend for enhancing the Death Star. I'm about to build mine but I want to add more to it. If this has already been discussed then forgive me but I'd love the input and advice.

I was wondering if there is a definitive picture archive of the mini-figs in their various incarnations? I was looking to get some but wanted to compare with new and old versions and maybe mix and match to get some custom results. If it's been asked before, then please forgive my inquiry, otherwise thanks for the help. -
Droid Escape. The paint apps on C3PO are just plain awesome.

You guys are top notch. Why is Galidor infamous?

I found these two pieces in a lot and was hoping to ID them and maybe find some more of the parts to them. Thanks in advance!

Awesome thanks for the quick response.

I wasn't sure if I should start a new topic or ask in a designated thread?

EBAY SCAM: UCS Millennium Falcon10179 - £186.99 NEW
moop replied to skyliner's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I read the Paypal guy his message and he agreed that he was bullying me into a partial refund so I think I'm okay. The buyer is a big Lego seller on eBay and his feedback speaks volumes about his attitude and business practices so it's okay. I'll probably get a negative feedback from him but I no longer care about my feedback. -

He hasn't provided any pics so I just told him that I don't do partial refunds so he's welcome to send the lot back. He is now in the name calling phase and keeps insisting I give him a partial refund or else he's going to open a dispute with Paypal, which is funny because I called them right after he said that to see what his options are and they informed me that he will have to send them back to get a refund. We'll see where it goes from there. His candor has been nothing less than rude and condescending and very bullyish so I decided to call the bluff. His lack of pictures or detailed descriptions is also quite shady ad his reluctance to returning them makes me think he'd rather have them because of the good deal he got. -

An update for the auction issue I'm having with that lot. The buyer wants a $30 dollar refund because a few of the high value mini figs are cracked. Part of me just wants to give him the dumb refund to end the anxiety but the other part of me that likes to win wants to just have him send them all back (of course knowing if I'm getting exactly what I've sold is frightening) for a full refund. Damn choices. -

I guess I see it, but only really on the one star wars rebel pilot... My concern was the buyer who asked how I wanted to handle a refund. I'm just not sure because I'm concerned I won't get back every piece if he wants to do a full exchange for a refund especially as I don't exactly have an inventory for 12 lbs of Lego.. That's why I was intrigued about what you more experienced buyers and sellers thought. They were packed in the tupperware container in the pic and boxed up and any dead space inside the box was filled with bubble wrap so as not to be loose. I priced them to sell so I probably will call his bluff and ask to send them all back for a full refund. My other feedbacks were items that were carefully packed but fragile and marked that way on the box. They were all insured because of that so there was no need for the feedback as the buyers were re-imbursed for everything. I don't try to rip people off so I'll just see what this guy says. My biggest problem was he asked me what I'd like to do for a refund. I mean, I don't want to do anything for refund so I'm not sure why he's asking me instead of telling me what he would like. I feel like he's fishing for a partial refund or to see if I'll push back on him. I just don't want to screw someone over so advice from people who buy this stuff more often than I do is pretty nice. Thanks for the info and feel free to add to the comments if you've got any input. -

A little off-topic but I'm new so forgive me. I didn't see anywhere else to post this on the forum and I really didn't want to start a new thread but if that would be better please let me know.I have a buyer who I believe is trying to scam me with a Lego lot I sold him. He says that the mini-figs included in the lot are mostly cracked and damaged but they weren't when I shipped it to him. Here's the listing for reference. I'm just wondering if anyone has dealt with this type of thing before when selling a bunch of pieces in a lot? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220864991534&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:US:1123 -

Hello, I just picked up a bag of about 40 minifigs at a flea market. I'm trying to put them together the best that I can, but is there a resource for matching pieces on the different star wars minigigs?
