  1. I might be wrong on this...But I think modulars will always get rejected from Ideas because modulars already exist as a line. Looking at the submission requirements that's my interpretation anyway. Though I'm sure the Lego designers do follow it to see what's popular...so I certainly wouldn't rule out a museum as a future modular.
  2. I reckon it could be along the lines of Detectives Office - A modular which uses the entire length of the baseplate and is a split between two different style buildings. Obviously won't be another corner building after the garage...DD isn't officially a corner building but arguably feels like one as well so that adds to my thinking it'll be a full width building. What with AS, PR, DD all containing a food/cafe place I'd be surprised if the entire modular ground level was a food/cafe place (admittedly PR or AS are likely to retire soon though) - but again if my thoughts are correct one of the buildings could be an Ice Cream/Italian shop as others have mentioned. One of the criticisms of the corner garage is that having a garage and a vets seems like an odd mix - will be interesting to see (again if I'm right) if both buildings have a theme like AS,BB,DO. Isn't it fun speculating?
  3. Really liking that Technic lowering mechanism Travis! I was hoping someone would share something like that as I couldn't figure out how to do it... Here's where I've got to with my ramp. Looks good I think when lowered but not so much when it's raised so i'll keep tweaking. I've removed the original Technic mechanism from the set it so will be interesting to see if I can adapt what Travis has done to make it work. 4. Here's another of my mods. My new piece for that section between the mandibles which many others have done then i've also added some hidden rockets - loosely based on the Falcon Haynes Manual and the cross-section books. Will probably change it some more at some point. I've done another video and there's more pictures of it on Flickr. 5. Thanks for all the positive comments everyone! I'm not quite sure which part you're referring to hear i'm afraid.
  6. Hello! This is my first time posting anything on this forum but i've been following it for a while. I thought i'd share my MOD for the lower canon as i've not seen anything done like it before. I've made a basic mechanism to raise/lower it and then another to rotate the gun around. Took a while to work out but pleased with the result! I've made a video to show it in action -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfItmfnpzU8&feature=youtu.be Would love to hear what you all think of it/if you had ideas to improve.
