  1. Where can you find any pictures of these, specifically the Batcave Clayface Invasion? Brickset, which is my usual go to, doesn't seem to have any
  2. But it's dumb exclusivity like that that only limits how many they end up selling.
  3. Same, so I'm having to limit myself to one Endgame and FFH set each (Ultimate Quinjet and Molten Man Attack, respectively), and then splurging on these 20th Anniversary Star Wars sets. That 20th Anniversary Slave I is gonna take the biggest chunk out of my wallet.
  4. I just went back and looked at better quality pictures. I can totally see that being the case now, makes the Molten Man Battle that much better than both of the other FFH sets now, IMO.
  5. I have the Venom mech, but the piece is facing upward in that set, so it's different, but since the piece is positioned differently, are they leaving it openand hollow looking, or are there bircks behind the head to make the whole thing look more solid?
  6. Same! I was so glad I did too, because I needed another corner building for my city.
  7. My only problem is how that piece is going to look from behind. Is his head going to look hollow from the back?
  8. I'm not positive, but if you look closely, it looks like the shoulder piece used on the Hulkbuster in Hulkbuster Smash-up. The same piece was used for the eyes on the Venom mech, but now it's facing forward, not up. Sorry, I just saw SpiderJazz posted the same thing 10 hours ago. My bad.
  9. That's the problem. ONLY a fraction of the here effort was put into endgame sets, and what a small fraction that was.
  10. Best Theme: Creator in general Best Minifigure/Figure: The new Doctor Strange (that new hair is amazing) Best Set: Sanctum Sanctorum, with the combination of great minifigures and an easy to modularize building for my city Worst Theme: Dc Superheroes, 'cause apart from Luthor's Mech and the Aquaman set, they were really disappointing. Worst Minifigure/Figure: Wasp, cause that helmet was really sad to look at Worst Set: Lockwood Estate, it was such a waste of bricks and completely overpriced Most Anticipated for 2019: Corner Garage, and Benny's Space Squad (to get more of those classic smiley faces for my modulars)
  11. I usually apply stickers, unless they've got nothing to add to the set's display value.
  12. Smart, if slightly morally askewed.
  13. I agree with most on here that the knock-off sucks, but also that TLG is kind of chasing something totally unnecessary. I don't see them winning this, unless of course, Zuru's lawyers are as crappy as their Lego knock-offs.
  14. I was the same way, this model looks fantastic
  15. Hoping the next modular is a house/apartment or something like that. After all, all those minifigs need somewhere to stay.
  16. Does anyone know if it's gonna be 2x VIP points on NYD?
  17. yeah true !!! gg so hey
  18. Haha, yeah, you might want to find out.
  19. Thanks for that, I was originally concerned there wouldn't be much floor space, this definitely puts my mind at ease.
  20. For those who truly hate it, then don't buy it!! But if you're willing to drop $200 or whatever it is in your region, then don't complain so much. This is also true. While we as fans have used the PPP, lego uses weight to justify prices, which should make sense to you if you really "studied economics."
  21. Starting to grow on me if I'm honest. looking at it from the second angle definitely helps. Will for sure be getting it now that I've had time to think about it.
  22. Feels like the gas pump is taking too much space for the building, and the strange corner we're forced to have makes the interior very small for a modular. Coupled with a $200 price point, I'm gonna have to wait for x2 VIP points to pick this up.
