A little update: sorry for the bad quality, it was a bit dark....

For my ship the red whale i need a massive anchor, i don't have the slightest idea how to build one from briks, any ideas?

I've been buisy this weekend, this is the result so far;

Ow My God...this thing is huge, the detailling is very impressive so is it's shere size, i love to see it when it's finished although i think this will never be finished...these projects intend to grow bigger and bigger. Great work.

Thx, i have thought about it and i think i will raise the bow, your suggestion is also good but i like the cannons in the forecastle, and it looks more massive when i raise the bow. Just one point....i'm not building the 7 provinciën.

I know what you mean, i have a little trouble with the bow / figurehead, and i wasn't quite pleased with it, i have already changed the bow 6 or 7 times (and still not pleased).....the colours of the headrails are on purpose, they should look like wings from my figurehead. Mayby you have a suggestion for the bow to change it?

A small update (and better pictures);

I like Aeolus, this what i found on wiki; Aeolus [1] (Greek: Αἴολος Aiolos [ǎi̯olos], Modern Greek: [ˈe.olos] ( listen)) was the ruler of the winds in Greek mythology. Thx, i will think about it.... About the headrails; i have the 7 provincien from admiral de Ruyter as example (just exmaple i don't build it);

Just a few steps further....added headrails, modified the bow, added the planks for the rigging, modified the forecastle and so on... Please your comments....thx

It's going to be a galleon, and the name is going to be Archangel or Gabriel because the figurehead is going to be the angel Gabriel but the wings are going to be very hard to construct, i'm thinking to make the wings a part of the headrails.

Thanks for your comment, yes there is going to be a balcony and no i'm not going to put in guns because the inside will be empty because i don't have enough bricks to build a good inside, i'm only making the the parts that will be in sight, maybe there will be guns on the decks, the doors in the bow i won't change, i'm still struggling with the bow...(it's hard to build)

It has been a while, i've been busy, here are new pictures, it is a pain staking progress of building and taring apart en rebuild...

It looks good, a little bit low...but good... i like the arms on the stern (gives me ideas )

Thanks...i think you're right about the dark brown and brown hullpieces, i didn't looked at this this way because i wanted to make the ship even bigger (1 hullpiece) and i don't have enough brown hullpieces, but i made it one hullpiece smaller because it was out of proportions i will change the hullpieces tonight thanks
