  1. Yeah I see that now, made this fig purely by memory after seeing the teaser in theatres.
  2. I know right? That's such a beautiful costume, this is probably the closest we can get using existing parts:
  3. Size isn't as important as playability though, given the target demographic for these sets. A more accurate size, as the Dilo perfectly shows, means losing out on the playing- and posability of the animal. If that's the case I doubt you'll ever own a Raptor
  4. Normally it can take up to a few weeks for a B&P order to get shipped but with a probable larger influx of orders due to the holidays shipping times have probably increased again.
  5. Yeah it really is. Quality control has been getting noticeably worse since roughly 2018 but this is probably an all-time low.
  6. I would unironically buy a $470 Newt's Suitcase D2C in a heartbeat, given that it's focused on the interior and doesn't bother with the suitcase itself. Not that it'll ever happen
  7. Looks like the mechs aren't the only Marvel 2022 sets with a design flaw: https://brickset.com/article/68334/possible-design-flaw-found-in-2022-super-heroes-set
  8. They're not, every single figure so far has appeared elsewhere: - Enix Iron Man, several Avengers sets. - Thanos, 4+ set - Spider-Man, reused to death - Doc Ock, Bugle and monstertruck - Miles, Bugle - Thor, Avengers set (albeit without helmet) - Cap, magazine poly
  9. This will never happen for obvious reasons.
  10. Interesting how people can have such differing opinions on these things, I personally find Hawkeye to be the most enjoyable show so far. Though I guess my excitement got a bit of a headstart by already being a fan of Hawkeye
  11. So now the only new design that hasn't been officially revealed outside of the movie itself is
  12. Honestly after the teaser and Marvel Legends reveals for Multiverse of Madness I'm even more pissed off about LEGO's decision to make just 1 small set for what is arguably one of Marvel's most exciting movies. Even if we just got 1 more set we could've gotten another variant of Strange along with characters like Mordo, Rintrah and that beautiful new Scarlet Witch costume (changes 100% justify a new figure). The surprising amount of Black Panther sets, a movie I've seen barely anyone get excited about, compared to the barebones Strange and Thor coverage better be justified
  13. I wouldn't count on it. With what LEGO is doing with this theme now it's smarter (from their POV) to save all the remaining characters and variants to use as potential sellingpoints in sets that might otherwise not sell well, like the new "Clocktower".
  14. Loved NWH but the lack of merchandise definitely still surprises me. Pretty much everything I can see companies wanting to make was in the trailers with Toby and Andrew being the only exception, which is funny as it's probably Hollywoods worst kept secret ever. Looking forward to potential extra sets! Regarding the polybag, definitely one of the best polybags they've made. Love to see the Upgraded suit at an even lower pricepoint, the Tower Bridge shield is cool and the drone (in particular the stickers) is neat for what it is.
  15. While I do appreciate variants I would much rather see as many characters as possible get represented. This movie has a huge cast.
  16. New look at the Atrociraptor, definitely one of the new species very likely to get made.
  17. And if he does hopefully he won't be as much of a downgrade as the '21 Tom Riddle figure.
  18. The big problem with this book (at least for me) is that LEGO deliberately chose to include a character fans have been asking for for years, not to mention picking the variant we could all use multiples of to make customs of Prefect Ron and Hermione. They could've easily selected a more common character in an outfit we're unlikely to get elsewhere (Yule Ball Ginny for example) and the book wouldn't sell any worse.
  19. Yeah that's just not true. Sinistra is also the first figure of the character we've ever gotten and she's exclusive to a 150 euro set, I recently bought her for just 6 euro.
  20. It most definitely is. Most people don't care about those books as they are aimed at young children, contain very basic information you can find anywhere and are often riddled with mistakes. I'm not going to pay $20+ for a single figure and a book I will never have a use for and likely won't even flip through.
  21. Looks like a good figure, nice to see some attention to detail with the small Prefect badge. Too bad it's in one of those really overpriced books
  22. There's a new catalog image showing the several temple sections combined.
  23. I can't see a Series 3 happening anytime soon. It looks like they'll be trying to drag this theme out as long as possible so from LEGO's pov it'd be smart to save any remaining characters and variants to include as big sellingpoints in future sets, like how Pomfrey is really the only interesting thing in an otherwise easily skippable set (still a skip for me but I'll be BL'ing the fig).
  24. I'm leaning more to something like 70/30 in Marvel's favor. I just struggle to come up with something from DC that I could realistically see LEGO do at this $500 pricepiont. It's obvious they only really have faith in Batman related products and besides maybe a $500 Arkham I can't see them taking the gamble.
