  1. Sets don't need to be iconic for people to buy them. The Silent Mary and Mountain Cave are probably the best examples for that, but they sold well. Wether or not a set sells almost completely depends on the theme's fanbase
  2. That was already known
  3. The chances of any Endgame or FFH sets being on display is very low with the amount of secrecy Marvel is forcing. Besides that, I don't think lego has EVER revealed any polybags at Toy Fairs
  4. "Don't get your hopes up too much'' is one of those sentences I really don't like as a lego fan But I think its likely we'll see at least some of the HP sets as opposed to the Marvel sets. Those will probably remain a secret
  5. At this price point there are definetely no dinosaurs included bigger than the baby raptors, just compare this sets ppr to the ones of the older waves But chances are we'll know what's included tomorrow from the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Fingers crossed!
  6. I partialy agree, but I don't agree on animals like Buckbeak needing to be brick-built. Mostly since they are such small animals, being brickbuilt would mean they would be disproportionate and lacking in detail.
  7. I don't see a kid buying a $250+ lego set Most sets that cost more than 200 dollars/euro aren't aimed to kids anyway Honestly, I think this would be the better choice. I already have Roberta from the T-Rex Transport and the Big One from the Velociraptor Chase so I'm all set on dinosaurs for the films finale. Don't really need any duplicates when it comes to the main dinosaurs, especially since they bump up the price so much
  8. Well I honestly don't care what the Horntail will be, I'll buy it anyway
  9. I'd rather have them in a future set or CMF. I really want the dursleys but my interests in a Knight Bus are pretty low just like the Quidditch set. Still waiting for a discount on that one Thats another argument to prefer a brickbuilt Horntail! It will look kinda weird if the Horntail is a molded animal while the Erumpent, Occamy, Thunderbird and Aragog are all brickbuilt
  10. Or the only dinosaurs included will be the baby raptors to represent, well... the baby raptors I'm gonna freak out if its microscale, I really hate it but the sets always come with desirable figures! I'll just leave this here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/3af88126-b327-434b-92fd-dff4be22d759
  11. Oof, 250 euro for 3120 pieces? Now I'm wondering if the set even includes dinosaurs, its not likely at this price point
  12. Multi-year sets are the best sets to be honest! Although most pieces of the Hogwarts castle are usuable for more than one year
  13. That would definetely be the best thing included in the wave. DUM-E would kill Thanos instantly
  14. Or add the dog with his doghouse ''There's a dinosaur in our backyard'''
  15. Really hope this will not be the case, I love the look of lego's Smaug but the limited articulation and things you can do with it are almost retarded Me too. I'd love the Horntail to be similair to Ninjago's Golden Dragon, with a brick built body and molded head I don't think so. I could see them making a new mold for Fang but not for Sirius. The already existing German Shepherd mold would be better for Padfoot
  16. If you are referring to the Arcadia, from Fallen Kingdom, then its a no-go at the 90$ price point. That ship, and the Mosa for that matter, is gigantic and would at least require a $150+ set. And then it would be microscale, which most people really hate
  17. Well, gotta stay true to the source material!
  18. Honestly, I don't think people really care what its going to be as long as we get a new Sirius figure in one of the sets
  19. So I just want to get this out there before it may happen: Today the US is getting advanced screenings of the movie, while the rest of the world will have to wait for February 8th. So before the worldwide release comes around, can we please keep this tread clear of spoilers so everyone has a fun experience seeing the movie?
  20. The first set is a very good idea! The second set sounds plausible, but I find it unlikely to include the bus (since lego probably wouldn't included random people to get eaten). Spinosaurus set sounds good too, butt I think that set would also include Nash and Cooper (since both of them die in that scene and couldn't really be included in anything else). The Jurassic Tour sounds good too, but I think a sick Triceratops scene would not be likely in this scenario. Probably just the gate, T-Rex paddock, Touring car and a bathroom.
  21. Speculation ofcourse, but this is what I think the sets could be (D2C excluded): 75934 (25 euro) - Dig Site - including Alan, Ellie (both in their Montana outfits) and the velociraptor kid. Builds would be the small tent with the computersystem and some small fossil builds which can be assembled into a Velicoraptor skeleton (as seen in LEGO Jurassic World: The Videogame) 75935 (60 euro) - Sick Triceratops - including Ellie, Alan, Ian, Dr Harding and a Triceratops. Builds would be one of the touring cars, a West Indian Lilac plant, a fence and a big pile of shit 75937 (70 euro) - Gyrosphere Bunker - including Claire, Franklin and a Baryonix. Build would be the bunker, with dropping lava from the ceiling as an action-feature 75938 (90 euro) - Workers Village - including Ian, Kelly, Sarah, Nick and 1 or 2 Raptors. Build would most likely be the building where Sarah and Kelly fight the raptors (with gymnastic pipes ofcourse!) and the broken down van, which Ian hides in, as a side-build.
  22. I agree, they should've given that figure a piece like the one the CMF Footballplayer has. And then put a print on that piece
  23. That's a definitive no. We already now the Clocktower set is 100$, and the Shrieking Shack would already be a 40 to 50 dollar set on its own. Besides that, it doesn't really fit in with the Hogwarts builds. We could definetely get one later in theme's lifespan though!
  24. Mark 1 and the black suit don't really need them, but Mark 5 definetely does!
