Sadly have to agree here. Storywise Ninjago peaked with Sons of Garmadon and Hunted (at least imo) but ever since March of the Oni the quality of the story has been all over the place. Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu and Prime Empire are seasons I'd rather forget, Master of the Mountain was very enjoyable and Seabound was decent but with a lot of missed potential. Hard to see what category the next season will fall in but I'm cautiously optimistic

That's the new Core sets that came out in January, this upcoming wave aligns with the show again.

Aspheera's description honestly kinda reminds me of Kai's Jombies from Kung Fu Panda 3, that could be very interesting. Honestly the only of these returning villains I'm not really feeling is Harumi, it'll be cool to see her in sets again but I'm a bit worried the writers might screw up one of Ninjago's best villains Also, considering the Core sets just reused the Pyro Viper heads it wouldn't surprise me at all if these new Crystal Samurai reuse the armor and helmet pieces created for the Ice Samurai.

The sets themselves sound pretty standard, just more of what we're used to getting from Ninjago. The figures sound very intriguing, particularly the returning villains.

We still don't know if the Netflix shows are true MCU canon though (and no, D'Onofrio's Fisk comments don't mean anything). -

The Homemade suit could be included in a potential Spider-Man: Freshman Year set. As nice as that would be the Infinity Saga ends with Far From Home so Shang-Chi TIS sets won't happen. -

Preliminary images often use existing prints as stand-ins, I highly doubt the final product will actually use the Overwatch and Ninjago torso's. -

Gaspard Ulliel, the actor playing Midnight Man in Moon Knight, passed away today after a skiing accident. We obviously don't yet know what the character's role will be in the show but it seems like this may be our only chance to get a MM fig. -

Several people have mentioned this in the last few weeks but the mods don't seem to have an interest in this thread I guess -

This show looks great. Can't wait to get a Moon Knight figure hopefully sooner rather than later. -

I'm no Disney defender but not everything always has to be blamed on Disney having a giant ego. The lack of villains and Spider-Men in the marketing and initial merchandise runs was most likely just to make sure not every single surprise in the movie got ruined beforehand, which happened anyway due to the insufferable leak culture that has taken hold nowadays (and can't even seem to stay away from this very thread ). The "all the amazing things Sony has done with the characters without Disney" argument also holds no water as Disney takes the merchandise money and their share of the box office regardless. As for all of Sony's "amazing things", are we just going to ignore how Sony is the reason Spider-Man 3 turned out the way it did? How their constant meddling with Webb's vision made sure the TASM movies weren't nearly as good as they could've been? How bad the Venom movies are? I could go on. -

Usually it's definitely hard to pinpoint a single worst person in an entire fandom but Brycen even gives the average deranged Star Wars nutters (read: the incredibly toxic side of that fandom) a run for their money. It's definitely a potential candidate for a trailer drop but it's by no means confirmed as Brycen constantly says, heck there are even sources with actual substantiated information saying it might not happen at all. He's just sharing misleading information to further bloat his already oversized ego. -

This hasn't been confirmed at all. It's an assumption passed off as a concrete fact by Brycen Roberts, a.k.a. the most infuriating and toxic Jurassic "fan" in the entire fandom. -

It'd be an obvious choice for an Advent Calendar but if LEGO chooses to base that on something else/not do an AC at all I'm sure the GotG Holiday special will just be skipped like most of the D+ content. -

Rebels was and still is a perfect example of bad timing though. The sets came out some time before the show and by the time it's popularity starting rising rapidly the sets were already hard to find and close to going EOL. -

Hardly comes as a surprise but I'm not sure I agree with Jay's reasoning behind the "experiment". It being easy to start a false rumor has already been proven a million times in the past (He Who Must Not Be Named anyone?) and his entire experiment becomes completely and utterly irrelevant as soon as he mentioned having to leverage his LAN credentials to build up trust. Though while the experiment itself was completely pointless I do approve of Jay calling a shameless trashy LEGO "news" site like BrickFanatics out on their sh*t -

It may also have something to do with the shows not taking as long to produce as the movies, which means LEGO might not get concept art in time to actually make sets. Whereas minifigures are much easier to make on a tight schedule. -

As much as I would love to get Gringotts asap I have to agree this is a much better approach.
