Definetely agree, last one came out in 2014 so it would be 6 years since the last one

Talking about general pricing lego has actually been able to keep their prices relatively consistent for 30+ years, which is really rare

But a lot of people really hated everything to do with Canto Bight so it doesn't suprise me they've never appeared in a set before

Just read the new comic and thought it was worth sharing as it's not really a spoiler I second this Then we must agree to disagree, there are definetely more potential sets I don't see anything wrong with the skimmer, could be a nice 25-30$ set with another opportunity to get Poe from the Y-Wing set. I'd really like to get one of the SD's but it doesn't really look like something lego would do

Just in case anyone didn't know yet, the 'Rise of Kylo Ren' comic started today and its supposed to give us more insight in the Knights of Ren. First issue revealed the name of the Knight we're getting with the TIE Dagger to be Trudgen

Like I said when you posted this in the Marvel thread, these arguments are used to explain why the CMF's don't cost $2 anymore. Not why the price was increased from $4 to $5

Seeing TROS actually makes me appreciate the TFF wave and the upcoming wave a little more. There really isn't much to do without spoiling anything, that said there are still plenty of possible sets so we can definetely expect LEGO to make more TROS sets far into 2020

I think it mostly has to do in what kids are interested in. Especially with the big franchises today (Marvel, Star Wars and others) it wouldn't surprise me if kids prefer getting a mech for Iron-Man over a weird looking schoolbus (for example ofc) Sets are made a year (or more) before release so HS getting a 2nd and 3th wave doesn't really say much about how it's selling

The wings fold and the cockpit has some weird extension thingies, that design paired with the possible minifigures would definetely something I'd buy

Moff Gideon's TIE Fighter would be a pretty cool set for the summer wave imo, maybe an Imperial remnants battlepack as well? All going alongside the possible Razor Crest ofcourse Another possible set, big spoiler warning though: I'm really looking forward to seeing how lego will fill future waves since we're not getting another movie anytime soon

First of all, this is the Marvel thread. Your comment was probably aimed at the DC CMF I take it? Second, no one defended the $1 price increase with 'more pieces per figure'. That and the increase in detail was used to explain why the figs aren't $2 anymore. Just look at the DC thread, almost no one is defending the price increase....

I always approve of anti-spoiler measures in these forums but wouldn't it be better to close the thread untill Lucasfilm lifts their spoilerban just like the mods did with the Marvel thread when Avengers: Endgame came out? That's just my two cents ofcourse

The figures are great but if you ignore them this is a pretty bad set imo

Here's a quick look at both the outside and inside of the structure, there are some up close pics of the rooms on there too but the quality is pretty damn awfull And these pictures were taken a few months ago, some things have changed since them though not much

I greatly expanded the tower in both width and height but mine has (from bottom to top) an entrance hall of sorts, transifguration, Gryffindor commonroom, Gryffindor dormitory and Dumbledore's office. I just included whatever I wanted to include as I'm not striving for 100% movie accuracy, just what looks best

That has been one of the most requested and talked about set-possibilities for months now, only second to the astronomy tower

I'm still disappointed by it but I do see at least a few good points. With some modification this could easily be made into a Starkiller-like diorama, the figures and platforms/droids are a good startingpoint. Though I'll definetely wait for a discount if I end up getting it

I don't care when or how but I really want a figure of from the new Mandalorian episode
