  1. I don't remember seeing someone mention it here but Marvel has been releasing prequel comics for the Avengers game over the last few weeks. The cover for the Iron Man issue shows the Avengers Game version of the Avengers Tower, so if the summer sets are based off the game it would most likely look like this:
  2. Would that make sense though? As the ghosts in MF were just standard ghosts and not even remotely similair to the ones we see in HS
  3. You do? I thought you could only spend points on B&P but not earn them
  4. If there is a F&WS set I don't think it would be more than Falcon, Bucky and Zemo. Sure, US Agent and Sharon Carter would be really cool to get too but so would Red Guardian and we didn't get him either.
  5. This Rami is supposed to be a vlogger so if it's supposed to be a nod towards Sam Raimi it would be an incredibly weird one
  6. And with B&P you can be 100% sure the pieces are new and not used sold as new as sometimes happens on BL
  7. That's kinda disappointing tbh. I'm not a big fan of Jack and Parker and it would've been really cool if this was Rodney from MF. Though I guess it's for the better as they completely screwed up Clutch Powers in the latest Ninjago season
  8. That's like comparing apples and pears, they are two completely seperate things with different budgets. And The Eternals' main cast consist of 10+ characters we've never gotten before, while the characters that will be appearing in The Batman have had at least one figure over the last few years (not counting the fact they're based off comics or the DCEU) so it makes complete sense. And you may not like what I'm about to say but judging from the 2019 financial report LEGO Marvel sells a LOT better than DC so they get more budget I like how the Batmobile is at least a practicle vehicle, one misstep while riding the new Batcycle and Bats gets impaled on those horns/earns
  9. I would definetely love to get more background characters but the chances of getting a certain background character completely depend on his/her design. I don't think we'll ever see Pince and Vector, due to them needing a new mold that would be hard to use elsewhere. But other background characters like Sinistra and the Hogwarts Ghosts, who don't need a new mold to be made accurately, I could definetely see being made. I think our only chance of getting characters like Pince and Vector is either the CMF (though I don't think they would choose such obscure characters with the already limited amount of slots) or a more inaccurate figure in a standard set. In the end I think it will all depend on the theme's lifespan. They can't keep giving us the same characters over and over again for eternity
  10. Oh, I see. That's on me then, my apologies
  11. If it was they would've mentioned Ninjago as one of the themes that ''also performed really well''
  12. I'm definetely getting Monster Fighters vibes from that car. And is it just me or does that good-guy ghost look very similair to Rodney Rathbone?
  13. In no particular order City, Friends, Marvel, Star Wars, Classic and Technic
  14. It doesn't really feel like a Batmobile to me but if this becomes a set I'm buying it for sure!
  15. Those were already confirmed (unless you are referring to the quality of said sets, in which case I have said absolutely nothing ) I'm not saying you are assuming anything, I'm saying a D2C is taking wishfull thinking to the extreme and the impact will more likely be quality related
  16. That's a bit extreme don't you think? I think the 'impact' FalconFan is refering to is more targeted towards setdesign and figure quality
  17. Did you even read the financial report? Because last time I checked China and India weren't located in Europe. And of course they were talking about 2019, that's kind of the point of a report on the ''financial results for 2019''.......
  18. I believe he is a fairly reputable source but he's not even sure if the question mark after HP D2C is anything to go by. Overall we haven't gotten any substantial rumors yet so as long as it remains that way I would suggest keeping D2C expectations low.
  19. I think Ninjago not being on the list has to do with a few things. I'm sure this post will spark some controversy/debate here and definetely not everyone will like it, but please take in mind these arguments are based on my own opinions, experiences and things I've seen online. 1. Masters of Spinjitzu is over - Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu was somewhat of a soft reboot for Ninjago. With the original story being wrapped up with SoG/Hunted/MotO (which I will refer to as the Trinity for simplicity sake) this was the perfect moment for people who were losing interest to stop following the theme. This is similair to how some Marvel fans looked at Avengers Endgame. 2. Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu was awfull - this season had some good moments but most of it was really bad. Beside the story not being that good there was also something really off about the tone. A fair amount of people came back to Ninjago because the story got a little darker and more mature with the Trinity. SotFS threw that change completely out the window and did a full 180 with the show's tone. 3. The sets are getting stale - there have been many cool ideas over the years. But while every season offers us different things and some very unique sets a lot of sets feel like something we've already gotten a few times from this theme. I personally won't judge this season (Prime Empire) untill I've seen the show, though I must admit the sets don't really interest me. If the quality of the story is anything like SotFS I will most likely ignore future seasons alltogether when it comes to the story and see the Trinity as the end of the story Ninjago has been telling over the past decade. If it were up to me, looking at both the sets and the show, I'd say it would be best to start building up a definitive conclusion to the theme. That way it will still go on for a few years and end on a high note.
  20. I really hope this improves our chances of getting Marvel Disney+ sets, I'd say LEGO will definetely want to capitalize on those shows
  21. I'd prefer that to this theme being milked for eternity
  22. After being one of the best selling themes in the first half of 2019 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is also one of the best selling themes of 2019 in it's entirety
  23. It was to be expected but I'm pretty sure HP was in the top 6 best selling themes in 2018. But the fact that HP does almost as well with a few sets as other themes do with a large amount of sets is very promising.
  24. Apparantly Harry Potter wasn't one of the six best selling themes for 2019, it falls in the category ''other themes that performed well''.
  25. I wasn't talking about you, just the thread in general. If I was specifically talking about you I would've quoted you
