  1. Yes, of course I have already checked that; that's how I confirmed that 1 hub does work and 2 hubs are faulty. :-( I guess I am just surprised that I have 2 faulty hubs and that nobody else has had similar problem. I shall contact Lego again today to ask them to send me another hub.
  2. Has anyone else found issues with their hub being unable to drive the motor? I tried the hub from my Disney train and used the same batteries from the faulty hub and the piano works a-ok. Lego sent me a new hub which i tested today and this latest hub has exactly the same problem. I now have 3 hubs but only 1 of them works for the piano (all tested with the same batteries); the 2 faulty ones do seem to work ok driving the Disney train motor.
  3. Absolutely brilliant MOC! And the TEE is one of my favourite trains. Well done Holger. :-)
  4. I was going to suggest the NXT over the RCX, mainly because the software for it is more readily available and it interfaces more easily with modern computers. Yes, it is somewhat more pricey than a RCX but it is still pretty cheap and I think that extra cost would be worthwhile.
