I chose the Garage. I reallylike the giant curved glass windows and Octan colour scheme.
-
I think those giant white engine parts are the wheels from the original CTT just in a different colour. Have Lego already got a cockpit piece that looks like that in that picture? Or would they just use the RGS or current ARC fighter cockpit piece with some printing on?

Mine isn't huge 30 or so but all have the lump on the back. These include, standard, Shock, Star Corps, Pilot etc.
-
We might get a Padme? She was in one of the Malevolence episodes, right?
-
I've already seen it from TTB or somewhere but it's undoubtedly amazing. The animation is so smooth. The mosaic sections must have been impossible! (I take it they were Lego too and not just 'computerized')

Thanks for the review . Back when it was available at standard price I wish I had bought this one. You also wrote R2 should be included. Isn't his supposed to be a Hoth set? he went off with Luke didn't he? Also you wrote USC instead of UCS in some places. Other than that a fine complete review with lots of good clear pictures.

Hey there Captain! Welcome to EB. I see you like LEGO Pirates. Have you checked out Classic-Pirates.com. It's managed by a few EB members. See you round.

12th Mold: Minifig Customs in 3d
Skipper 24 replied to woody64's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks for the pic. It looks much better than I first expected. -
I think your custom minifg is great. Any chance for a shot of the back? It's nice that you did the helmet decals as well as the body adding extra detail to the fig. Nice work .

I just noticed that behind the bumper cars speeders Luke in a pilot suit is walking into a building labelled The Sarlacc Pit. As for shops my favourite is the Wak-a-Wok stall. In the background of the scene where Obi-Wan and Yoda are on the Force-o-Meter there is a Taun Taun carousel with Indy standing in front.

I mentioned that in the thread about the film here. I think it is the same ship as the current one. It really doesn't look too different to me. Only the front of the engines are different as the nose no longer has a gap in the front.

Thanks for the link ILikePi. The ARC-170 looked to be slightly different to the existing set so I doubt it was any sneak preview or anything. I really hope we see that Malevolence, it looked quite impressive from the picture. A new grevious with ball joints would be superb but probably to complicated for a small minifigure. Anyone know why the droids had an AT-AT ? Also in the hanger scene did anyone notice the name, it was Hangar THX-1138. Isn't 1138 Lucas' magic number or something and Commander Bacara's designation?

I love your customs! my favourite is probably the Clone Commando. I take it you made the body armour yourself? Is Stormtrooper X's helmet patterning paint or decal?
-
I believe the set was released in January of 08 so not really that early. I was thinking that possibly some of the early batch could have got dodgy parts but guess I'm wrong.
-
My shock troopers from that set both have the bulge. Just out of curiosity did you get your set quite early after it was released or late? I thought it was quite interesting that both troopers were missing it.

UCS Anakin Skywaker' Podracer, with video and building instruction
Skipper 24 replied to Anio's topic in LEGO Star Wars
A superb UCS MOC . You have managed to pull the cockpit section off well due to it's hard shape. The engines look pretty much picture perfect too with a good amount of greebles. -
BrickArms Prototypes from Brickfair
Skipper 24 replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice new items. My favourite is probably the chain blade/chain saw bayonet (GOW2 MOCS ) and the high calliber sniper rifle/barrett 50. Cal just like from COD. -
I'm disappointed .

Review: Space Hotties "The Harvest"
Skipper 24 replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Nice one. A sequel to this fine set would be nice sometime in the future. What set is the printed base of the tree from? The sand bananas could possibly used for less ripe bananas but I'm guessing they're 'rare' pieces. -
Review: "Mos Eisley Droid Cantina"
Skipper 24 replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Another awesome event set. it's great that 3 different protocol droids colours were included. Nice work . -
The speeder sounds interesting. Sounds like just one of the Endor Speeders with a trooper. Shame it's a promo though..
-
Hmm I think I may start my own. Here's my profile. I will add more as time goes on as it will probably take me quite a while to find all my sets. I'm going to start with Star Wars .
-
Thanks or the list KimT. It's a little hard to keep up with these in the discussion thread. Also I use your Death Star icon on my dock (rocket dock) for the Empire at War game.

I was hoping for a Padme with the Sepratist Shuttle set. You know the one that came with Nute, the Senator and some BD's. She was in the episode and I'm sure she would be less costly to design than Nute as he had his fancy head wear.

I swear it said nothing about a sand crawler before. Maybe I'm just going crazy .
