Nice. I like these little dioramas. I like how they've done the sea scene with the seals (or walrus) swimming under water. Also the camels in the desert look great too.

8033 General Grievous Starfighter Mini Model review
Skipper 24 replied to Matt Dawson's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I got this set too today. I wouldn't say I found it dissapointing as you did however. I did like the brown and tan plates used to add extra colour though. Also I think they pulled off the shape very well for a mini. The review could use a little more juice to go with the pics but apart from that great. -
I'm sure you had fun.

Actually it's Also the prices are fairly high on there.

Hmm my brother owns 2 DSLR's (Nikon D70 Canon 40D various lenses). I might have to get him to teach me how to use one of the them. I love your TIE shot Pedro. The Storm troopers look almost glowing.

Thanks for the ARC and Landspeeder set pics. ARC-170 - Possibly new pilots (can't really tell) 'Bigged up' engines, redesigned nose. However Kit Fisto is included, now we don't want him turning into Luke . Landspeeder - New pauldron for sandtrooper (?) Half decent looking speeder, Long haired Tatooine Luke and Old Ben + the two droids. Well it seems the speeder is well done but we really could have used a dewback with the set.

Well it's all fixed now. If i encounter nay more difficulties I'll make sure to post my links as so.

Nice. It wasn't what I was expecting form the thread title. I like how you've done the camo cargo net and mini radio dishes. The extra aerials are great details too.
-
Thanks for the extra face pics. Nice variation with them .
-
Another great work Rayman. I love how you always use bright colours with your designs. I'll try this out sometime I think.

Unfortunately there are no new pics in that video.

I think the figs are the same quality. If anything the printing on this new one seems to be sharper than one of the clones for some of the older CW sets.

Thanks for the pic links. Freeco Speeder: This looks all right and the Talz is an extra bonus. Tri Fighter: Looks better than the first. The bubble inside looks to be to green semi spheres with some hinged parts wrapped around it. TIE Defender: Looks huge for a TIE. The extra stormie is great. Rebel BP: I think the speeder has some sort of turret on the back which with flick fires. Also the pilot is good variation to the other figs. Imperial BP: We get a great speeder in white and a imperial officer and AT-AT Pilot.

I think they probably will. After all you had the GG fighter mini and V-19 before us in the UK and we still got them.So it would just be the other way round really. Perhaps TLG wants to spread things out a little.
-
That looks so great. I love all the details you've included especially like the beaded necklace and brown and blue spots.
-
Sweet. I really like the bubble cockpit. The tail fin looks a bit weird on a car but with the colour scheme it really looks like a classic Batmobile.

Thanks, I've fixed that now. EDIT: My Poll hasn't shown up, guess I'll make anew one.

30006 Clone Walker Theme: Star Wars CW Parts: 29 (excluding minifig) Figs: 1 Price: Free, Promo Year: 2009 Brickset Peeron - Not availible Bricklink When battling armies of Droids, out manned and out gunned you need the Clone Walker to lend a little fire power and turn the tide of battle. This set was released on 6/09/2009 as a free promo with a select few newspapers including the Daily and Sunday Mirror. It was available to collect from WH Smith & Toys 'r' us Stores on this day. 1. Bag and instructions Your Standard full colour Polybag And the back On the tiny instruction you can see the piece numbers on the pages just like in any impulse set The other side 2. Minifigs, set overview and parts Just an overall shot of the set. A nice feature is that the front section and legs can be positioned in many different poses. The Front. I like the single blaster canon And side. Here you can see the seat better. Nice tan upholstery. The Clone minifig. Misprinted eyes are some what common now. Pieces. Another nice selection of parts for a promo. An extra saber hilt is always nice. The Spares. Unlike yesterday's promo, the Imperial Speeder, this set had 2 spare pieces. 3. The Build Here's my build walk through Step 1-2. This is just the vehicles base and where the minifig will sit. Step 3-4. We add the control sticks and the base of a hinge similar to the Imperial Speeder build so far. Step 4.5. We now build the set back. Not how instead of using 2 individual clips a double clip is used. Step 5. Simply attach what was built in step 4.5. Step 6-7. Flip the structure over and attach 2 bar pieces that can be clipped on to. Also a 1x4 is added on for extra strength. Step 8. We attach the canon, it's built from a paddle sort of piece and a lightsaber hilt. Step 8.5. We build the section that will attach to the front. It looks fairly sleek thanks to the sloping piece. Step 9. Attach the front section that was just constructed. Step 9.5. Build the 2 identical legs. Not very interesting but the cheese slopes are quite nice. Step 10-11. Attach the 2 legs and place the minifig at the controls. 4.Final Thoughts & Comparison Here's a shot next to yesterday's promo And a shot so you can see the height of the walker. Build 8/10 However small this maybe, the build isn't bad Minifigs 9/10 Some sort of weapon for the clone would have been nice or some sort of clone scout might have been good too Design 8/10 For such a small walker this looks pretty good Parts 7/10 A few special pieces included Price 10/10 Free promo, love it Playability 8/10 Can be easily mixed with other sets but isn't to much on it's own Overall 50/60 = Excellent Thanks to the Clone and nice design this set scored fairly high. There are some reasons a small walker is so bad

Hey there. Congratulations on completing you RR collection. I paint LoTR SBG figures too, link. See you in the forums.

This is surely my favourite set out of the Mirror promos. I rated this above average due to the price of the Sunday paper being more expensive than the weekday one which hiked the price up a little. other wise a great set.

Happy Birthday Bonaparte. May you get lots of 'Legoy' goodness.
-
I just got my Clone Walker . Look out for the review later today.
-
Also notice how they use the Clone BP speeder. Yep and that Shock is the Clone shock trooper not any Storm trooper variant.
-
Excellent . I saw this on Flickr just a few minuted ago. I like the dual view port design on the cockpit. The legs are well designed too and look fairly poseable. Perfect for tackling though terrain.

Thanks for the new pic KimT. I like how they've coloured the pages differently. For example we have previously seen a republic page which was white where as this one is dark grey.
