  14. I'm a set collector of different themes/ages (currently 521) but all of mine have been opened and built at least once. Really can't see the point in having Lego but not building it Each to their own I guess Loved the original topic btw - especially the CT scans
  15. Thinking it's safe building Lego in the garden on a hot, sunny, summer's evening (well, warmish, less cloudy, summer evening in the UK) and then adding the combination of my landlord's inferiority complexed miniature Schnowzer and the neighbour's kamikaze cat - ever tried to find a black 1x1 in the middle of a lawn?
  16. LOL was thinking exactly the same :-D :-D
  17. Gotta agree that there seems to be far more outlets selling MB than Lego. Still wouldn't convince me to buy any though
  18. just because letters put together spell lego doesn't mean that is the intended word I read that name as "le gotham" Forget about it and move on

  22. My storage problems aren't too much of an issue as I have 2 "homes". I work away druing the week which, although bad cuz it keeps me away from my wife and 2 young kids, does have its advantages that not only does it give me free time to enjoy the Lego but also extra space at my week-day place for storage/display. But does add the complication of transporting the creations to/from home for my son to enjoy with at weekends
  23. Thought you looked more Welsh ........
  24. Making the mistake of thinking my 9 month of old daughter couldn't crawl yet and my Imperial Flagship was safe across the room from her. And the lost 2 months of contact with my parents when they couldn't find my childhood collection that had been stored in the attic during my 20 years of darkness.
  25. very very impressive 8-o 8-o
