    This may depend on where your from. In the uk, fire engines are a very big part of Xmas. Libraries hold craft sessions, story times etc and at Xmas even more so. Police station, well that’s where drunken Santa’s and co. who have misbehaved go, but like many others, would prefer other sets before this one comes to the shelves. I would like a little village school with a bell, I think that could be sweet.

    I would prefer a detectives office than a police station, or maybe a detective at the village library doing some research on the crime of who is behind the mysterious disappearances of Xmas gnomes. All whilst the village children hear a Xmas story from the librarian

    Yes that’s where I’ve just come across it. Thought it looked a lovely scene to add to the middle of the village. Might need to rethink the Chinese decorations although being red it could work, possibly. Change the photo picture from tigers to maybe reindeers. Would love a child with a Rudolf nose face print and antler headband. Maybe one day they will do a little village school with the children dressed up as such!

    Anyone seen the lunar new year set?! Darn it I think I’ve got to scrimp more money together. Looks like it could look good in the WV scene and very much what I’ve been hoping for in terms of an ice rink

    I am personally still waiting on a town hall, inn, and an old book store. I originally wanted a larger ice rink with maybe a chalet and ski lift but I think I’ve enough frozen ponds from the sets and GWP for it to go on the back burner. To think Lego already know what our next sets will be. Wish I did 😂 and I’ve just realised it’s the 1st tomorrow and I’ve not sorted my sons Winter Village Advent Calendar. Oh dear. I better get cracking 😳

    I was going to ask if others had problems with the little clips that attach lights or signs etc. I’ve replaced the ones on my Santa’s Workshop to the point of giving up

    I miss when you could get the free gift with just buying the WV set and that it would fit into the scene

    I think I’m glad for the first time that I don’t particularly care for this years GWP no take that back I’m literally relieved as I thought it might be maybe a reindeer stable to go with this years sleigh 😮‍💨 . Now I can be happy that I ordered everything I wanted already

    I waited last year for the GWP only to find my WV set was no longer in stock with no back order option either. I used to wait patiently for the Double VIP points and GWP to hit the buy button but not this year. It’s frustrating but I didn’t want to miss out again ☹️. I wish the WV sets came with the option to choose out of the 2 Xmas GWP sets as standard

    Oh wow! I like it. Have you tried hanging them underneath so they look like they’re flying? Not even sure if that would be possible. I am limited to building basic houses and following instructions. Although I did make the best fantasy go kart when we had a family competition 😂 I think I have tried them on the carousel in the past and they have fitted but I could be wrong

    Ok so here are my random ideas: 1) Xmas parade float 2) Props for ‘photo with Santa’ 3) Reindeer and sleigh rollercoaster - would actually love to see someone attempt this

    I’ve been wondering the same. I don’t think I’m going to have much of a problem though whilst my sons young as it will definitely go off on journeys around the house knowing him.

    I have thought about converting my WV for this. Take off the snow, change the Xmas decorations for Halloween ones. No idea how much it would cost though. At the moment I put out the Ghostbuster car with the Vampire haunted mansion and the fishing store. If Lego do start a Halloween theme village I think I might need to buy a bigger house for storing it all 😂

    I can’t remember exactly how quickly it did in the uk but I felt it was quite quick hence why I ordered mine today. I waited for the ice rink GWP to be available last year and it was too late. I hope I don’t regret it but I don’t have the Charles Dickens set anyway.

    I’m super pleased that there is a Xmas GWP so early. I usually wait for VIP double points and the Xmas gift but wasn’t talking any chances after missing out last year on the WV build. Does anyone know if the sleigh will be Lego shop exclusive? Lego could do with selling an Extra Accessories set for add on reindeer to the sleigh. There is a detailed review showing a photo of how it connects together and the reviewer says it will be easy to attach extras.

    Having seen the new cottage next to the old one along with some of the other WV builds, I am really looking forward to owning it. I was a little unsure of the blue colour used for both, but now I think for me they complement each other. Lego did it again Santa has a belly! I love this version!!!

    It’s a bit random but I think my favourite is the snowman. Is it made of one or two pieces? And yes I think they have pulled the plug on the website darn it. I was enjoying the ability to zoom in on it all. I wish I knew what the GWPs looked like, I’m quite tempted to just forget them as the WV was OOS by time of the promotion. Don’t want to miss out on in again this year.

    I guess you could do ‘hiring Santa Claus’. Could be quite funny having them all sat outside an office with their job application forms 😂. Is there any wv builds already that could be converted for such purposes

    Oh GWPs have been mentioned. Santa’s front yard and Mr and Mrs Claus living room. 🤔 Intriguing ideas if true

    Does anyone know if the Ideas Medievel Blacksmith set would work with the WV? I think the style is perfect but I’m unsure if the size ratio would be out
