  1. They’re only about 2.5 times larger than a regular minifigure, because if it was 2 times bigger the one stud would become a two by two, so with basic math you can figure out that they’re somewhere between 2 and 3 times bigger since being 3 times larger would take up a 3x3 (which is nine studs where the big fig leg takes up six)
  2. I have to say I’m disappointed that they didn’t take the opportunity to give Sinestro pointy ears, the figure isn’t really worth it if you have the other one without that change. Simon Baz looks okay, I think they could have done a better job on his mask design to make it look less drawn on. Stargirl looks good, the printing on her torso and legs reminds me of the original Wonder Woman printing and how it doesn’t really print the skin super well. Metamorpho looks good but kind of a wasted spot if you ask me, same with Sinestro, they should have done Larfleeze or Star Sapphire. Also, approximately how long until we either get a full list of characters or official images?
  3. Are the images of the figures up already? I’ve only seen comic images of the characters who will be in the series.
  4. I’m hoping Doctor Fate, Booster Gold, Zatanna, correct mask Hawgirl and Red Tornado make the cut. I’m also really hoping that the “variants” are just the crime syndicate versions of the justice league because that would be incredible.
  5. Plus those sets are among the best ones and they sell super well. The problem is the only other “location” sets they give us are random small banks. LEGO basically just chooses to do vehicles cuz it’s easier and you can basically use the same models just change a few things, colors and add new stickers.
  6. If only LEGO had people in these chats who would actually listen to fan consensus
  7. I sure hope it only has maybe one of those because seeing as the LBM just came out and we got every one of those as well as the sets that JUST came out should more than one of those you mentioned be in the CMF then we are doomed for disappointment with the whole CMF.
  8. Also it’s likely that The Joker is the only notable character with a look even remotely worth creating in LEGO form and even more so, there are probably zero scenes that would even work to create a set out of.
  9. The bat-suits in the official DC line like the desert suit and space suit honestly I prefer to the LBM ones because those ones were just mostly comical while the regular ones are at least purposeful.
  10. The question is, should we get Kid Flash, which version: Young Justice Wally, Rebirth Original Wally or New 52 New Wally?
  11. Wait are mini mechs the mighty micros or are they the Bionicle-like ones from way back?
  12. Technically both were male in the original iteration, though there is a female Dove who has been made female in recent years.
  13. While this list has a lot of really compelling characters on it, I feel like it’s definitely not a real list. Many of these may end up appearing, but to be honest I think there’s more opportunity to get different villains with more unique looks that a CMF could only pull off, so I really hope Joker, Harley Quinn and especially Lex aren’t in it. Doctor Fate, Vandal Savage, comic helmet hawkgirl or Metallo or Toyman, Mad Hatter or Hush I would prefer. Also Robin feels kind of out of place for me, I feel like we have too many Robins especially with TLBM to get a new and unique enough one to take a spot in the CMF. King Shark also doesn’t seem like too far of a stretch especially looking at Orca from LBM CMFs it could be similar to that, less preferable to a big fig but possible all the same.
  14. I think the main issue is that the 2015 sets were so good comparatively to everything that followed so everything beyond that had been rather disappointing considering how many new characters and fairly good sets designs 2015 delivered.
  15. I see what you’re saying, and the Wonder Woman suit is an exception because it is more highly detailed with arm printing, and the fourth one while more comic accurate is an older figure with less detail and a figure of the first appearance of her in the comics. It really depends on the accuracy of the comic character. DCEU Wonder Woman is very accurate to modern day Wonder Woman comics, which is why it works. Alternately, I’m not a big fan of Jason Momoa Aquaman. The suit in the movie (his own movie not Justice League that suit is horrendous) works, but the actor they chose doesn’t work for me. Momoa is the epitome of most obvious choice to play another character (Lobo, Momoa’s Aquaman is Lobo in personality which is why I abhore the miscast). The costume works, the actor doesn’t. Renditions of movie and tv characters I would have rather had from the comics and not the show because the show version just isn’t very good: Steppenwolf, Ares, Atom, Harley Quinn (Harley Quinn jestersuit is the best and I will never not dislike any other rendition), just about any suicide squad version of the characters except Katana and Deadshot whose costumes were accurate and looked good. The main reason I would say I want solely comic versions of the characters is that most of them are the comic versions and you can have all from the same brand verses having all the characters but some are from comics and others are from movies (having two renditions is fine) for example having 80% movie versions works for marvel because practically every character is in the movies already and you’re getting to the point of having every major superhero in the MCU and therefore getting LEGO renditions where the DCEU is just starting up and is stumbling a lot and making poor character choices. This got way longer than I intended, oh well.
  16. The best movie/TV superhero outfits are the ones that look like they’ve been ripped straight from the comics. As such, the hard thing about the arrowverse is the outfits are always being updated. The Flash costume has been making its way painfully slowly to being comic book accurate. It’ll go a few steps forward and then a step back. The biggest turnoff is that the media costumes are usually much more negative and darker colors. The dark maroon red of Ezra Miller Flash is not nearly as appealing as the bright red of the comic version. That’s why a Shazam set would be satisfying because all the costumes would be practically as close to comic iterations as you can get and as such we wouldn’t need both a comic version and movie version of him. Basically I wouldn’t mind a movie version of a character in LEGO so long as the movie version is comic book accurate.
  17. I’d say one of my biggest disappointments with LEGO DC is that the mighty micros has both Bizarro and Doomsday and besides from the SDCC Bizarro we haven’t seen a true comic version in a regular set of either.
  18. I swear they should have run out of Harley Quinn variants by now. It would be a major mistake to put her in the CMF. I’m good with variants of all the main JL members cuz it’s guaranteed and wouldn’t be too bad to get super detailed figures of them all. I can see Deathstroke being a DC Supervillains variant if he was included but I’d rather have one with a custom helmet and not just a helmet for face printing. Though I wouldn’t be at all surprised (and I don’t think we should automatically consider them obscure because they are absolutely not if we happened to get at least four or five of the following characters: Zatanna, Doctor Fate, Atom, Hawkgirl (with her true helmet), Red Tornado (less likely than the others), Guy Gardener, Vixen, Ted Kord Blue Beetle, Booster Gold (with skeets), Ronnie Raymond Firestorm, Saturn Girl, Brainiac 5, Raven. I really hope we don’t get any batman villains that we had in any of the sets this summer because that would be a complete waste (except for maybe Two Face with a better outfit because the one they used is pretty lame). As for villains I can see them giving us: Circe for WW (second pick minifigure Giganta), Deathstroke for Batman (He had his own 2 CMFs and 95% of all the sets so honestly I’d be fine if he didn’t get a villain counter part), Metallo for Superman (Jimmy Olsen or comic version Lois Lane are good second picks), Heatwave for Flash (Personally I say I would want Godspeed but more likely second pick is Mirror Master, though Weather Wizard or Golden Glider would also be appreciated, I’d even take the Pied Piper or the Top. If you can’t tell I’m a major Flash fan). For Green lantern I can see minifigure Atrocitus like in the Aquaman LEGO movie (though I hope not cuz he would be better as a big fig, and second pick is star sapphire though I would also think Larfleeze has a fighting chance). For Aquaman I would love a hook handed variant of him though for villains he has run out so I’d say Mera (though King Shark would be cool but he needs a big fig). I don’t think they’ll give us Shazam again but if they do it’s highly likely we’d get Black Adam (though I can see Black Adam without Shazam in there; but a Shazam variant with molded legs, hair and the dropped hood in white (like Green Arrow in 2015 had) would be not too bad. If they include Martian Manhunter I would be surprised and if they gave him a villain to go along with him it could be a white Martian which I doubt, but I think they’d give him Miss Martian (second pick would be Dasaad). If they gave us Cyborg, the only villain I can see him getting as a counterpart if he got one would be Grid. In which case I can see all the JL getting the Crime Syndicate counterparts in this series (which could work given the high level of specially designed pieces for characters like Owlman and Johnny Quick, their helmets and even Owlman’s cape could have a feather like cut to it.
  19. Challengers of the unknown, the most obscure gang of lovable misfits I have in my arsenal. There’s 5 of them and it was mostly a joke to the fact that they are probably the absolute bottom of the barrel besides maybe arm falloff boy and codpiece (who honestly LEGO needs to just give us already we’ve all been waiting long enough)
  20. All I can say is if the CMF doesn’t have the Challengers of the Unknown it’s a bust.
  21. Lego has had time to expose people to these characters through their LEGO dc superheroes movies and games. Fans who actually buy the sets because they like the dc characters and comics will have also played the games and watched the many movies they’ve made so they will know Doctor Fate, Zatanna, Saturn Girl, Vandal Savage, the Atom, and more who have made appearances in both the movies and game.
  22. Sure Batman sells, but kids don’t really know any of his villains other than maybe the main few, but that shouldn’t stop LEGO from using other characters with Batman, like for example Batman and Flash vs Mr Freeze and Killer Frost. Batman and Wonder Woman vs Bane and Giganta. Batman and Justice League Dark! So many team ups they could do with both a Batman villain and another character and a similar villain. They really dropped the ball using poison ivy instead of heatwave in that set with Batman, flash and firefly. And yeah the smaller sets could only be Batman and one villain but the larger ones could definitely do more to promote Batman and other DC characters.
  23. Sure we are getting those things but in the end it really depends on the quality of what we do get, so all people are really saying is that these few things we do get better be so great that it was worth not having many real sets.
  24. I doubt the Marvel Disney+ shows will get sets, maybe 1 each if any
  25. Wait just a minute there hoss. What do you mean we are only getting 2 sets in 2020? First off we have 2 confirmed yes. Then there are 9 unconfirmed as to what specific superhero brand but likely a mix. The CMF is a rumor that is seemingly true but we won’t know more until we get some hard evidence. I really hope WW84 doesn’t get more than maybe 2 sets and I actually hope birds of prey gets no sets but rather comic renditions if characters from the movie kind of like they did with Suicide Squad. Theory but honestly what if it planned out, it would be absolutely nuts: the D2C is some kind of Batman set, and the reason it’s been kept so tightly under wraps is because it connects to the upcoming Joker movie (which lines up with the time of release) and the set has spoilers for a potential batman involvement in the movie even though WB claims there isn’t any real connection to the DCEU.
