The person above me can choose: a horrible death or service in the East India Company...
-
This MOC is really awesome... but it's nothing compared to Chuck Norris...

The person above me will be given a long and painful death for what he dared to say. :skel1:

The person above noticed that before I did.

Thanks, I'll try that next time. I've attempted to do it now with these two, but it didn't work, the quality remains the same. I always wondered why there were such problems with the quality after I modified the pictures but it seems I have now the answer. :)

Yes, I don't have Photoshop. :)

Hello guys, As I got bored this afternoon, I decided to create two torsos for Lego mini figs. Those 2 creations are related to the American war for Independence. The first one is the British General Charles Cornwallis: The second torso belongs to the British Green Dragoons officer Banastre Tarleton: Here is a painting of Tarleton: And here is he when charging the Continentals: Finally, here is my torso: Hope you like them, and don't forget to leave comments. :-$

ARC , ALPHA 17? Commander
Lord Beckett replied to aayla-secura's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Yes, it is quite simple, just add a pauldron and a kama (I would just advise you to use something that is removable, so that if you want your normal captain back, you can). To make those parts, you can use many stuffs like tissue or small painted bits of leather... or use your imagination :-$ Here is one Example. I have also seen persons using pauldrons from the Lego Pirate series... -
ARC , ALPHA 17? Commander
Lord Beckett replied to aayla-secura's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
This one is a simple clone commander, so he has no name. However, good painting, they look quite good with those marks, and after all, if you want to turn your clone captain into an ARC captain like Fordo, it will not be too difficult, I believe... -
ARC , ALPHA 17? Commander

Sorry, but that is not Fordo. It's just a normal clone trooper captain. Fordo is an ARC captain. Here he is: By the way, he is Alpha-77, not Alpha-17. Here is Alpha-17 (more frequently called Alpha) with Anakin: -
I imagine it's for acting purpose or something like that. If it was a real navy hat it would have cost more than $15...

How dare you question the existence of skeleton pirates? Never heard of the curse on Cort

Nice army, Sir Nadroj, very nice indeed. Cool edits. Just make sure those little villains get shaved, we don't like this in the East Indian Trading Company...

8-| How come the skeleton-pirate captain has a bicorne ??? I believe the pirates of that time looked very much like vikings... The knights and the set in general is not that bad (considering also that the Knights Kingdom II series was awful... with all those flashy colours and all the stuff, yerk! :-X ). Nice review.

Pirates, pirates, pirates !!! The Castle series is very good (though I don't much like the recent Knights Kingdom II series) but I prefer the pirates...

The person above me lives in Kingston, ONTARIO, not Jamaica (although that would be awesome....).

Me too, it really looks like Tia Dalma's hut (I suppose that's what its creator intended to realize) and the Singapore harbour. Awesome discovery, 007.
-
Personally, I've used the black one's face to make a custom pirate and I doesn't look bad... It's a good idea BTW, the pictures of all the minifigs that were released.

That's really amazing!!! Je suis sci

Oh sorry, I thought I already had commented on it but I just realized I hadn't. So the ship is really nice indeed, it is really well balanced and there is a lot of space for the crew. I also like the "double wheel"... very realistic and the two cannons on the back of the vessel (just one thing perhaps, you should maybe have used cannons that you created yourself rather than the standard Lego ones because usually those cannons on the back of ships are of smaller cal. ... but that's a really small detail). The removable cabin is a very good idea and I simply like the global look of the whole ship. Great work.

I even didn't know that guy... :)
