Thanks. I woul like to see a picture of these cars on a City road plate. Does it fit in, or is it way too big?

I voted 10195 Republic Dropship and AT-OT. This set was a very pleasant surprise for me. The set was much more impressive then I thought before I bought and build it.

Thank you and AzMean for your replies. I will try. But I really want to know how many and what kind of extra parts you need for this kind of moc. I don't have many spare parts yet, so I can order the needed parts at bricklink or something.

Ik like your mods very much! *y* But I'm pretty new with LEGO modding/moccing and I don't see how to do it. Can someone maybe post a how-to or something please? :-$

The Hoth Rebel Base is back at Shop@home (For The Netherlands), but sold out. Also it states a limit of two sets a customer. So maybe it is to come back. Also at the TRU in Almere, Holland, there were plenty of Hoth Rebel Bases left.

Why do you hate EP2 so much? I think EP2 was much better then EP1 (that one only exists out of podracing and traveling through the planet core with stupid fish). Also EP2 clones looks very nice and there were only two sets with EP2 clones in it. So I really would like to see EP 2 clones. Just give me a remake of the Republic Gunship *wub*

I recieved this set from S@H yesterday and I like it very much! The snowspeeder is very beautiful I think. *wub* But to be honest, I don't own any of the previous ones, so I can't compare straigth. Also the minifigs are great and the door is well made. The set had a very high playability. I only miss Luke and Han in snowcloth and a tauntaun. Also the stickers and the grey lightsaberholster are not good at all |-/ Overall I think it is worth the

Yesterday I got the 7264 Imperial Inspection from our local TRU at Almere (Holland). I'm so very happy that I had a chance to buy a new one for a normal price *sweet* This set is so great, I am in love with it. *wub* I think it is the best Star Wars set Lego ever made. *y*

My nick is pretty straight foreward I think. I like him and his thought and books. As a child I already played elections and revolutions in my little Lego town :-D I'm often confronted with people who thinks he is a mass murderer and responsable for many deaths (committed under the name of Communism). But those people don't know history at all. Karl Marx was not a muderder and did never wanted his thoughts leading to bloodshed. He was a briljant man, with many knowledge about economics, sociological, politics etc. He just pointed out that is was not fair how labor workers where treated and exploided by the small economical elite of that time. Also he was a strong fighter for democracy and universal suffrage. Now enough of politics. I won't bother you again with it, but I needed to explain my nick. ;-)

I do like Karl Marx and his thoughts very much. But I have no intention to get this forum in a political discussion board or something. Also I'm not against Castle, but at Lowlug there is only castle and technic and I like Town and Star Wars more. To talk about those themes, Eurobricks is the place to be! :-D

Today arrived fresh from Denmark (S@H): 7666 Hoth Rebel Base *wub* 6212 X-wing fighter (I didn't own one yet) So I'm very happy now *sweet*

I never have problems with the freight train and its own cars, only in speed setting 1 the train sometimes does not pull up. The ICE train runs out of the track sometimes because of the high speed it gains at full speed setting. :-D It is recommended tot use only full batteries with high power. I use GP 2500 batteries and they works fine. Is a Santa Fe with like three of four cars that much havier then a full RC freight train? To add an additional motor may be the solution for a full lenght Santa Fe train with lots of cars. But till now I never saw a full satifying solution with two motors and one RC unit. It would drain the batteries very quick and also in the solutions I saw you had to cut some plastic off the RC baseplate... :-/

No, not yet. I'm only planning to do something like that, because I like old ships and I like the Dutch Golden Age >:-) I also like history in general and really would like to add some history to my Town. :-)
-
That's too bad :-( 9V is way too expensive to collect when you start with nothing. The RC track is half the price of 9V track. Also I like the RC control. How many cars could a RC locomotive pull you think?
-
Would it be possible to motorize the 10020 with a RC motor? I only have the two RC trains an RC track and I really would like to add some more trains to it. I like both the Santa Fe's.

Thanks all for the warm welcome! And yes, I'm also active at Lowlug with the same nickname. Only I like this forum better because here are much more City/train, Star Wars and Pirates fans. At Lowlug it's is mostly Castle, trucks and Technic. I'm very sad about my old Lego City and Pirates collection being lost. My evil stepfather has thrown it all away. :-X I've only some technic left, but I don't like technic anymore and need the money for creating a Star Wars collection, so I'm going to sell that. I've bought some Pirate Lego last year when I came out of my dark ages. But now I'm thinking of selling (a part) of that, because I need the money for Star Wars (and City). Three themes is a little bit too much. Both financial and for the occuping space at home. I think I keep some ships as decoration for my City, like The Batavia in Lelystad :-D Anyhow. This forum is really fantastic. All those true and fanatic Lego fans here. It's awesome! *y*

Hello, I'm new here. Although I'm lurking here for a while now. I'm 30 years old and live in Almere, Holland. I'm married and have one daughter who is almost two years old. I'm out of my dark ages since one year now. I collect City/trains and Star Wars. Only newer sets (till 2005), because I lost my old collection from my youth. :'-( So I had to start with nothing an it seems easier and more affortable to stick with new sets (still buyable for normal prices) then. Greetings :-)
