  1. As long as Series 2 is in the near future (let's say 1-3 years) I'm willing to wait.
  2. With any luck at all we could get a DC CMF Series 2 to hopefully make up for the lack of non Batman related characters, since according to most people it seems to be selling so well they can't even get their hands on them. This is pure speculation, but I feel like if it follows the same pattern as the Harry Potter or Disney CMFs it will be at most three years for another series.
  3. It honestly sounds like a pretty decent set, and easily one of the more interesting DC sets we've gotten in the past few years, though that isn't saying much. All we ask from Lego is just a little more variation in their choices with superhero minifigs, since lets face it, the minifigs are like 60% of the reason we buy the sets. Atleast they sort of made up for like 4 years of lame minifigs with a CMF. I mean why should a Red Robin figure as pure and simple as this really be put out of the question. Heck, I'd even take a Drake minifig at this point, all I want is more variations of characters they already rehash every year or two.
  4. If you count the Walmart exclusive set with the Venomized Iron Man yes there is a Marvel D2C
  5. I'm imaging the Mobile Bat base to be something of a cross of the 70917 Ultimate Batmobile and the 70165 Ultra Agents Mission HQ, although considering the disappointments of the past maybe I'm setting my expectations too high for DC. Oh well, I'm actually happy we're getting Bronze Tiger and some long overdue redesigns of Batgirl and Nightwing, and I'm hoping this is the wave Lego finally leaves the Rebirth suit in the past and gives us the current Batsuit being used in the comics, considering its been over a year and a half since Batman switched back to my personal favorite Batsuit, the early 2000s Hush Batsuit. Also, what are the chances of getting a Robin in this wave thats not the Summer 2019 Damian Wayne?
  6. Seriously 0 disappointments with this CMF besides the number of minifigs, of course that could be fixed in a DC Series 2 if this one sells well, which I think it will.
  7. Hey, 16 minifigs is still a pretty good number considering that it will mostly be obscure characters and designs we would NEVER get in regular sets.
  8. Lets not forget Lego will most likely include some big name heroes like Batman and Superman, like they did with Mickey and Minnie for both Disney CMFs. I really don't have a problem with them using previously used characters as long as their design/variation is as well known and as well designed as the leaked minfigs (I still can't get over arm AND leg printing AND duel molded boots) I personally have fingers crossed for the Hush Batman and a redesigned classic Superman, and since those two are the only expectations I have for this CMF everyone else included will basically be a very big cherry on top
  9. I have to admit I was worried that they would simply do more lame variations in this CMF, *cough* *cough* Beach Batfamily *cough* *cough*, but from what we've seen so far this could very well turn out to be my favorite CMF ever. Its also incredible that we're getting both leg AND arm printing for these minifigs, plus duel molded boots for a few.
  10. Just because theres no January wave this year besides the CMF doesn’t necessarily mean there’s trouble for the DC line. I mean, we’re getting Birds of Prey marketing soon, and this summer Wonder Woman 84 will be hitting theaters, so there is a possibility that Lego is just holding their set releases to strike when the iron is hot. Keep in mind people are still going through withdrawal from Marvel, so perhaps Lego is planning to balance out the DCEU sets with the MCU this year since they seem to be one of the top sellers (or to be more specific, Avengers sets)
  11. Perhaps Lego will reveal a DC set or two (or even the DC CMF) on Batman Day? (Do NOT take my word for this, I'm not a leaker, just a speculator)
  12. Whats strange to me is the chin strap design on the flesh Cap head matches with the design for the scale suit helmet from Endgame, but Paul Seeley said on his Instagram that its “definitely not from Endgame”, so maybe the comic sets will take minifig designs from the MCU? Either way that head piece is great for the helmet and will definitely be replacing the original head
  13. I could definitely see them doing a few obscure character designs in the CMF, like Suicide Squad Joker (similar to the Harley Quinn from the TLM2 D2C) or Justice League Unlimited Aquaman with the hook hand Overall that list is most likely fake, purely because it would be too Lego-y to use mostly rehashed characters I mean, as long as they're unique minifig designs that list wouldn't be terrible, but I'm really hoping for more obscure and less popular characters like Red Tornado or Doctor Fate
  14. Thats why I think people don't care for a lot of the newer DC sets, because the 2006-2008 Batman sets (not to mention the Videogame) are just so simple and pure while the sets in recent years seem to be following some sort of pattern of redesigned vehicles and useless mechs. Atleast the minifigs have greatly improved.
  15. I'm convinced that there will always be a small part of the Lego fandom that will always set expectations waaaay to high and then get angry when Lego doesn't give them 10/10 sets with perfect minifigures. Remember people, the target consumer is children, and it is very rare to get even one set from a licensed theme that seems to directly be made for AFOLs. Right now I'm quite happy we're getting comic Black Panther and Hawkeye at the very least, and I'm sure we'll get some even better characters in this wave (fingers crossed for a comic Cap with the new helmet piece)
  16. Has anyone considered this CMF could be one last 80th Anniversary Batman thing I wouldn't hate if they just did an entire CMF with just the Batsuits from 1939 to 2019
  17. I don't really expect many new characters in the CMF, just mostly updated figs/different variations. For Example: if its the same pattern as the Disney series, with one - two characters per property (new Batman and Robin designs, updated Superman and Jimmy Olsen, Mary and Doctor Sivanna, etc.) I still think this will sell like hot cakes if they do it right (I'm surprised that the Batman CMF didn't sell as well as expected, since it was a good chance to pick up obscure characters and designs)
  18. I just want the Hush Batsuit (since its the current suit) and a new Superman design in the CMF and I'll be happy But has anyone considered an all bad guy CMF since it is the "Year of the Villain"
  19. So do we have any idea what DC property is being used for the CMF series, or is it all on the table with comic designs. I was just curious cause it would be a good time for an Arrowverse wave with Crisis on Infinite Earths coming out soon (even though I'd much rather comic designs)
  20. All we need now is for Marvel to announce MCU Xmen, and my life will be complete
  21. I made a pretty good looking Cable using Zane's hair, Griff Halloran's head, Winter Soldier's torso, reddish brown utility belt, a flesh right arm and Tin Man's left arm, and Batman's boots
  22. Both are actually bright light orange, so they do match I thought about Klaue's head, but I don't like using the same faces as other Marvel characters Nothing is wrong with the original, I just like a design thats something similar the the costumes in the movies instead of the cartoony yellow and blue
  23. I have an idea for a nice yellow and black Wolverine suit using Power Man's torso, flesh arms, black hands, and Wolverines mask and head from the one set from 2014 I would post the actual pic of the minifigure if I could figure it out Does anyone have ideas about how to fix the legs? I tried Sinestros legs but they weren't matching colors
  24. I'm not really surprised about the SDCC Spiderman fig this year, I just hope Lego makes it up to the people who don't get their hands on this fig with the November Endgame sets. At least it wasn't a character absolutely EVERYONE wanted like Rescue or Ronin, but then again they haven't revealed the DC exclusive fig yet so finger crossed that its just another Arrowverse fig
  25. They'll all most likely be not direct scenes, but they'll just include the characters they couldn't use for the first wave because of spoilers (Rescue, Stark Gauntlet Hulk, etc.) People are also saying that some of the sets may be comic-based. I hope this rumor isn't true though, since we're still missing so many key character designs from Endgame (Scaley Suit Cap, Classic Suit Rocket, Ronin, Fat Thor, New Suit Captain Marvel, New War Machine, etc.)
