That’s not what I predicted. A long time ago I deduced that because of the nano scale leak of 12 figures that weren’t main characters- we would get a lot more nano figures, which meant several interiors on the micro scale Hogwarts. I was told that multiple interiors wouldn’t happen and that it would be an architecture set. Some believed we would just get one or two interiors. Then it was leaked that there would be a ton more nano figures and THEN everyone started wondering if it would be doll house style. then the castle premiered with a ton of interiors and a ton of nano figures which was unusual and why none of you guessed that at first. Because the hellicarrier had very few interior. that being said I believe the Easter egg the designer is referring to in the video, is the diagon alley micro scale set. I also said a while back- that the D2C hp sets would strictly be micro scale, and most likely mirror the smaller system scale sets. Which would follow the same pattern of this wave. So no need to worry- we will all get what we want. LEGO is smart because they will be making more $ this way. Collector versions and regular system scale versions for the younger audience. And hardcore fans will buy both. Win win for them.

When I asked about the chances of multiple interiors. —- not trying to trigger anyone, it’s not my fault microscale triggers you. I’m sure you’ll get at least one diagon alley shop or honey dukes in system scale. A lot of people really enjoyed the realistic scale of the Hogwarts and will definitely purchase the micro diagonal alley. You’ll have to wait and see ;) Also to the person questioning me on the photo example I gave of the studio set- saying they base it off the movie- the studio set IS the movie- that is the placement in the movies.

Comparing the leaked MOC of the d2c diagon alley to the actual diagonal alley on the studio set, they are nearly identical- heres the image I’m referring too of the studio tour- you’ll see gringotts the far left, ollivianders, 3 mini shops, and weasleys joke shop at the end. In the designer video talking about the random first set he ever bought (with the diagon alley micro in background) he says ’lucky coincidence, and I’m sure fans will enjoy even further Easter eggs that we’ve hidden’ he literally says THAT^ directly after we see a glimpse of the d2c diagonal alley. It’s happening.

I see I’ve triggered you all forgive me lol the fear mongering comment made me laugh. But unfortunately for you I am right about the D2c micro scale diagonal alley. I dug up my old prediction about the d2c Hogwarts back in June for proof^ reading the comments back then most of you were saying the rumors about a micro scale Hogwarts were ridiculous and impossible. And multiple people told me the Hogwarts wouldn’t have any interior.

I hate to break it to all you system scale lovers- the diagon alley leak is 100% a d2c microsale set. I was right about Hogwarts d2c having a ton of interiors and I’m right about this. Every hp d2c will be in micro scale. Too much of a risk to sell each individual shop in system scale, especially considering you still have the hogsmade shops. It won’t happen. Don’t worry though- they will give you one or two shops in the regular scale- it just won’t be all of them together like the d2c leak^ i’m very excited to situate this next to my d2c Hogwarts.

Omg the micro figures are even tinier than I imagined! About the size of a bare head on a mini fig, It’s so small I don’t even understand how they printed onto it so well- I take back everything I said lol I’m impressed

So I picked up my D2C Castle this morning, and there was a pre-sale line and a regular line before the store opened. Luckily I pre ordered, because the store was only selling 4 for regular VIP members who didn’t come in and pre order. They had to turn away a lot of VIP members who didn’t know about the pre order process and said they’d get more in on Friday.

I’m picking up my D2C Hogwarts tmrw! I Pre registered and I heard it’s already sold out at my local Lego store. Wave 2: Astronomy tower (castle connector) Shrieking shack (connects to willow) Knight bus Triwizard tournament Hagrids hut D2C: Micro scale Astronomy Tower (Quidditch stadium, common rooms, transfiguration class, Divination, hospital wing, Hogwarts express, buckbeak) Just got this email from my local LEGO store- “We are pleased to announce the upcoming arrival of your Hogwarts Castle Preorder to the ******* LEGO Store. As a reminder, you are guaranteed your set as long as you arrive by the end of 8/22with your copy of the receipt. You must return to our location and we will process the exchange so you pay less the preorder amount already paid. Due to the quantity of preorders, we will not have enough available tomorrow, Wednesday the 15th to satisfy everyone, but we will be receiving another shipment on Friday. Therefore, I encourage you to come in at your leisure and take advantage of having had the opportunity to sign up for our preorder and avoid the crowds. You are all probably right- but here are the reasons I suspect we'll get another D2C micro castle: The popular 3D Hogwarts puzzle did so well they made an astronomy tower add on, heres the link-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0drI9p3LIG0 It's beautiful enough to stand alone on it's own and it would probably include the grounds and quidditch stadium which is iconic. It would also probably be cheaper. If I was LEGO i'd have this set ready to go in case the first sells well and they sliced the castle perfectly in case they decide too. This could also be said about the mini figure waves as well- although because the mini fig sets seem to be aimed towards children I don't think it's likely they will do a mini fig D2C as it won't match up with the current sets unless they do something not hogwarts related like diagon alley? but I don't think so, I think they'll keep any future harry potter D2C sets in micro scale, and focus more on the architecture aspect, but still include the interiors like the first. Which makes me think we'll get a D2C astronomy tower micro scale Hogwarts add on.

I don’t think you’ll get a Gryffindfor common room in the future waves as it is kind of included in the whomping willow castle section- As for the D2C Hogwarts- I saw photos today that showed the castle with 3 connector spots- I was right about predicting there would be multiple interiors in the micro scale castle and I believe I’m correct in predicting we will get another D2C Microscale Hogwarts add on in the future. It is sliced perfectly to add on the astronomy tower/cathedral section of Hogwarts. this set will likely include the micro interiors of the divination class, hospital wing, herbology green houses, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and hufflepuff common rooms, transfiguration class, room of requirement, and the Shrieking shack, knight bus, quidditch stadium add on. micro figures added will be Hagrid, peter petigrew, buckbeak, madam pomfrey, professor sprout, Professor trewalney, Filch, house ghosts, Dobby, mad eye moody, slughorn, Sirius Black, Quidditch players Harry, Ron, Ginny, Malfoy, Luna, Cedric. im assuming this will only happen if the first sells well- and I believe it will.

If you’re a fan of mini figures I’d recommend future Hogwarts sets- if you’re a fan of Hogwarts and a more realistically sized replica I’d get the D2C. Personally, I hate how small the system scaled sets are, the great hall is alright, but the tower should be much taller and bigger in size. The castle won’t look realistic to me when all the sets come out and are connected. im going for the D2C but I’d be cautious if you want it early as it will be very popular among Harry Potter fans that aren’t LEGO fans- will sell out quickly.

And then put me on a list- where I paid $40- and he said to bring back the receipt so I could get it Aug 15th- I was already #6 in the list and he asked how I found out LEGO was doing this because they’ve never done this before- and I said online- and he said that LEGO hasn’t said anything publicly so people don’t get angry, I guess they just wanted it to spread via word of mouth. So if you want the set I’d suggest do this immediately because he said they don’t have room for many and that it will be sold out everywhere.

You guys are undestimating how many Harry Potter fans there are that aren’t hardcore LEGO fans- I myself am a huge Harry Potter fan and casual LEGO fan so my desire for collecting mini figures Is not very strong- in fact I prefer this micro scale set because I can display it and the castle feels actual size compared to the micro figures where as the mini fig great hall felt tiny in scale to the mini figs like a dollhouse. I appreciate the the amount of micro scale figures and I noticed some of the random students are not “random” at all. In gryffindor we easily have Ginny, in Ravenclaw one looks like cho Chang and Luna, in hufflepuff we have a Cedric. I’m glad there’s a Harry Potter fan working at LEGO because they know what we want haha. only bummer is not having multiple common rooms- but if you look at the photo of the castle in front of the studio castle- you’ll notice a perfect section of the castle is missing that would be equally the size of this one. I think they might add on in future if this sells well.

IM OBSESSED WITH THIS SET. I like that the castle feels actual size in comparison to the microfigs. So many characters! So much interior! I’m so glad they made it playable. Luna, cho, and Ginny are in this as well. The great hall feels massive, my only complaint would be not having 4 common rooms. cant wait to buy it!

I can’t believe people are complaining- it’s amazing- the playability is great because the castle in comparison to the micro figs feels actual size- the great hall feels massive! We’re getting so many characters from each house, and the castle is huge and stunning! my theory was correct about the multiple interiors and I’m so happy they decided to do them- will definitely be buying this! Only complaint is- I’d rather have 4 common rooms than the sorcerers stone rooms. will also most likely be selling the four founders on eBay for those interested haha

This makes me way more excited for the micro set- With this many nano figure's it leads me to believe we will more than a few nano scaled interiors. I think we'll see inside the great hall, dungeons, gryffin & Slytherin common rooms, classrooms.

Thanks! I looked up that set and I think you're right. I'm curious how they spread out the buildings, and which ones will be biggest. I attached some pics for everyone to get an idea.

Sorry if I missed it- do we know how many bricks will be in the micro Hogwarts? I’m assuming it’ll be much Taller than then Helicarrier, and bigger since it could potentially be over a $100 more. I’m predicting the Gryffindor tower to be the biggest section and tallest- the great hall attached to that, the clock tower, bridge, and one other building with potential greenhouses connected. I think it will all sit on a rock mountain- and I bet we’ll be able to remove part of the mountain and see dungeon interior/ potions class/ Slytherin Common room and potentially chamber of secrets. Will probably be able to see inside Gryffindor common room/ great hall. And a transfiguration classroom. I think we will get a lot more interior because of how many secondary character nano figures leaked. My dream would be to have all 4 common rooms, and I’m hopeful because of how many student nano figures we got from each house. But probably unlikely.

I'm not too familiar with micro sets- what are the chances of a nano-scaled interior? Common rooms/ classrooms/ great hall/ dungeons etc.

I too, was disappointed with the news of a microscale Hogwarts- HOWEVER I have a feeling we are underestimating the playability of this new set. The amount of secondary micro fig characters in the leaked picture leads me to believe we will be able to place them inside the castle. We haven't even seen the Harry/Ron/Hermione/Voldemort/Dumbledore micro figs yet, so this means there are a surprising amount of figures. I think it's possible that parts of the micro castle (not all) will be dollhouse style, and we'll be able to see into micro common rooms/ great hall/ dungeons/ classrooms/ chamber of secrets. Other parts/towers/spires will be closed in I think, but It just doesn't make sense to make so many micro fig students from each house, if we can't place them inside the houses. All these figures are just supposed to stand on a bridge or courtyards? If my theory is right^ I think more Harry Potter fans would be willing to buy it for that price. I'm probably wrong because I'm not super familiar with micro sets, but this is my best case scenario and seems to make sense of the figures.
