Hmmm so we can expect about $350 for the upcoming one?

The UCS Imperial Shuttle rumor makes me very excited since I missed the previous one. I didn’t think they would remake it so soon but in this case I’m very glad they are (supposedly).

Right on all accounts. The 2020 Indominus set also has the wrong version. They reused the Fallen Kingdom Owen rather than the original Jurassic World 2015 film version. I just replaced the outdated head and hair from 2015 with the newer ones and it looks perfect for JW Owen. The shirt for the FK Owen should definitely be darker (the clawed version is obviously meant to be the same shirt just without the vest), but it doesn’t bother me too much. Also, on a different note, this will be the first Jurassic wave where I buy all the sets since 2015. Bought that whole wave because I had always wanted Jurassic sets and I loved them. The last few years I’ve bought a few but ended up looking for good deals for just the Dinos on the secondary market for the expensive sets. This year I love every set and I don’t think I’ll find a deal where it’s cheaper to buy the dinos separately, particularly because the expensive set has two large dinos, both of which I really want

Right Claire is from when she goes to the Lockwood mansion at the beginning of FK. And thanks @Guyon2002 and @vstat05. Good catch with the baby raptor video, I was only remembering the the one where he’s in the regular dark blue shirt with the vest, I forgot there were multiple videos. I see now that the figure has the biting glove on his arm. The grey shirt was weird because it’s the same style as the scene where Claire asks him to inspect the Indominus paddock but it’s definitely the wrong color. It should be the color of the shirt in the Bricktober pack under the vest. Pity they made up the new version, I wish they had gone with something screen accurate. Maybe the flannel shirt from the beginning of FK or something

I just watched both Jurassic World movies and I’m trying to match the minifigs with their movie counterparts. I can’t account the Bricktober Owen or the new 2020 bandolier Owen, those don’t seem to be in the films. The regular grey shirt version from the T-Rex Mech seems not to be in the films either but that particular figure is based on the Lego miniseries I believe. I imagine the bandolier version is as well? And I’m not sure about the Bricktober version

I don’t mind the cones or the cheese slopes but to me what looks really weird are the dishes on the Viaduct Entrance. I get what they were going for but it just doesn’t look quite right and makes it too inconsistent with the other Hogwarts sets

Nope. Kingnono was debunked so his micro Hogsmeade GWP isn’t happening

I really can’t understand how this is worth complaining about. It’s just confirmation on something we have all had several conflicting reports on. Some of us were getting worried about the odd situation around this set. It’s really nice to have confirmation on the set itself, the number, and the price. All of those things were sort of up in the air for a bit since nothing had actually been confirmed by anyone. It’s what we were expecting, but it’s just good to know that what we were expecting is indeed what we are getting

For those who are interested in Zavvi updates, I just got an email saying my order shipped and will arrive between Tuesday and Thursday next week

Remember that other IG account that tried to tell us Kingnono was wrong and we never believed him because he was one of those “my uncle works for Lego” types. I remember he specifically said he was told Diagon Alley will be an upscale version of the GWP and will include 14 minifigures including a statue

That’s good to hear! I ordered three sets from them a couple days ago. I’m really glad I did if the sets end up getting delayed even more

Even if the release date is pushed up to July, I don’t regret importing three of the sets early, I paid about the same. Granted they haven’t gotten here yet (I only ordered them a couple days ago) so we’ll see

I can speak for them, but I typically just save all the points for a couple years after buying the Star Wars UCS sets and other big sets and then get a large scale set free with the points after a couple years

Just ordered the Astronomy Tower, Forbidden Forest, and Room Of Requirement from Zavvi. I’ll wait for the others, I hope all goes well with the order! I would have gotten them all but Privet Drive was almost $15 more than retail price and they didn’t have Hedwig or The Burrow. This and the student pack will be enough to hold me over until August

Maybe with so many people buying from secondary sellers, Lego will rethink their system of releasing sets late in the US from now on

Cho’s hair from the student pack is more like her GOF style whereas the hair in the CMF Cho is like her OOTP style. I don’t mind having both styles for her at all, I’ll just swap the legs

Didn’t even think of that but it would be a great way to introduce the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw robes as exclusives. It would make some people really mad but that’s inevitable with anything exclusive. I’m sure they would pop up again down the line in other sets

Borgin and Burke would make for a great set down the line if it’s seperate. However, I would love for the Leaky Cauldron to be included in the D2C, it may not look like much but it’s crucial to the Diagon Alley dynamic and would be a superb part of the display

I do think some minor updates were warranted to make this set worth a repeat. I bought the last one and I would definitely buy this one if the figures had something new to offer but they don’t, so I probably won’t. Personally, I don’t think there is ever too much detail on a minifigure. Even very small things make a ton of difference to me, being an extremely observant and detail oriented person

In regards to this again, I am a massive fan of getting different variants of the same character. I love getting new characters, but I also really love getting different versions of the same character. That is something this rebooted theme has excelled at. So getting a ripped sweater AND a non ripped sweater would be amazing. I don’t like it when the variants are not accurate though, like Harry and Ron in The Burrow and Privet Drive this year. That really bothers me because we could have gotten new versions of them.
