    You can like the set, that’s fine, but it is similar enough to the last one for me to have no interest in it.

    Both the Droid Gunship and the AT-AP look almost exactly the same as the 2014 versions. Both of them. They have a couple extremely minor changes due to updated parts but they’re both basically the exact same sets as before. Oh well. Don’t get me wrong, I love it when sets are updated with new parts as the parts inventory is updated but these are just way too similar to the previous versions which were very adequate renditions as it is. A lighter load on my wallet I suppose. Great news for anyone who missed out on the last ones though! This’ll just mean I can get Vader’s Castle instead

    The Praetorian Guard BP is fantastic honestly. The inconsistency of the skirt/legs issue still bugs me but I’ll get over it. It’s some kind of training room and I like that droid and we get all those weapons plus a stormtrooper, I’m excited for this one

    Man, I really thought the preliminary minifigs for the droid Gunship and AT-AP were only stand-ins. I thought Lego wouldn’t do something that dumb. What should I have expected? Those two sets are such a colossal waste. Almost identical to the last ones. Every minifig spot is a complete waste except the new battle droids. It’s helpful for my wallet though! But man, what a terrible waste of Lego Star Wars slots.

    With a new hair piece that’s actually the right color instead of pure white! Obviously this isn’t the place for wishlists but I just very sincerely hope we don’t get let down by only a small amount of sets in 2019. I hope the wave(s) will be as big as the one this year, it’s such a popular theme, it definitely deserves large waves and there’s so much to cover

    It’s a joke, don’t worry about it. After seeing Crimes Of Grindelwald, I really hope to see some sets with the inclusion of some main and side characters we haven’t gotten yet. I’m still kinda hoping there might end up being a small COG wave early in the year, but that’s not looking likely. This is not a rumor at all btw, so don’t take it as such.

    I hope some 2019 information becomes available soon now that all the 2018 promos are over. I’ve given up hope for anything in January, but hopefully some info for next year starts leaking

    I was really hoping for a January wave, even a small one, but seeing as the catalog has leaked, and there’s no wizarding world content anywhere to be seen, it’s not looking very likely.

    My brother and I got to Barnes and Noble right when they opened and got a Bricktober pack each, they had at least a whole case, definitely more than 8

    Ok so I’m the B&N website, it mentions the HP event tomorrow and says it’s at 2:00pm. The Bricktober promotion is part of that event but I’m not sure if the promotion is all day or just starting at 2:00pm. It also says it’s a children’s event so idk if that means only children get the promotion. Anyone have any info to clarify?

    Oh yes, I agree, I was very happy with the previous version, and I don’t think it needed an update. I just think it’s a bit dramatic to say it is hideous and terrible and the worst looking helmet ever.

    I think the new Rebel pilot helmet mold is more realistic to the films. They are supposed to look oversized and the printing is amazing. I don’t mind the stormtrooper helmet either although I was more than satisfied with the one they’ve been using. I think it’s ridiculous that people say they’re ugly or horrendous or absolutely terrible. I realize it comes down to opinion but people are being dramatic

    I did not mean to start this big debate. I think there is fault to be shared in the situation, some of it definitely lying with Lego, but not nearly all of it. There. There’s nothing to be done about it now, we can’t change it, we should probably drop it before mods get involved.

    I didn’t say it wasn’t on there right now. I said it wasn’t in the store calendar. They didn’t advertise it until it started, we usually get some warning with these things. Regardless, it wasn’t meant to become a big deal, it was merely a side observation. I spent the money, got the free set, done and done. Promotions have just felt a little more chaotic this year than they normally are, that’s all. I’m not really mad about it, it’s just an observation.

    I’m hoping we get the new Mad Eye Moody hair piece on Kylo. That would make it a must buy for me

    I’m excited about that “large Hoth playset”, I can’t get enough of Hoth sets. I hope it’s something new though, maybe a good army building set with more Hoth terrain, more Taun Tauns, and so on

    In the US the Solo polybags and Diagonal Alley were not advertised at all. I think one of the Solo ones was advertised late as a promo for a little bit but the second one never even showed up. Diagon Alley should have been in the store calendar but it wasn’t so nobody knew about it until the promotion started. And Barnes and Noble told me bricktober might not even happen because they’re having too much trouble getting the products from Lego

    Diagon Alley, Bricktober, both Solo polybag minifigs (those polys are so badly advertised). It just feels like it’s been nothing but chaos and questions of what is happening when. It is what it is. At least I got my Diagon Alley last night on S@H! Now I gotta spend $75 at Barnes and Noble on the 17th for the HP Bricktober pack

    That Bounty Hunter Persuit “leak” got me. I was so mad when I realized I just got trolled. I suppose it’s too much to ask to remake that set, meanwhile we have 5,000 droid gunships and AT-AP Walkers...

    Anyone know what kind of promotion is happening for the Diagon Alley set in the US? Lego is seriously mishandling their promotions this year, it’s pretty bad.

    It’s really starting to look like the praetorian guards in the battle pack are mixed as far as legs and skirts. It seems the new version with the visor will have legs and the version that also came in the throne room will have the skirt piece. Maybe I’m wrong?
