  1. Wow Woody! Amazing going with the Feld Cap and Pilotka! I thank you so much for actually taking the time to make these! Your amazing! Man Crush...
  2. Abney Park - Airship Pirates What a terrific Steam Punk song!
  3. Sooooo...Any update yet?
  4. Plan B - Suzanne It may be a Rap song but it's probably got to be the most scariest song's I've ever heard. The murder the song talks about only took place about 30 minutes away from where I live which makes me scared.
  5. It was "Military Odessey" in Kent area, about 10 miles from Chatham Dockyards. It is the largest multi period type re-enactment show int he world. There was a amazing American Civil War skirmish, incredibly loud, real cannons, riflemen, gatling gun e.t.c. It was great. There was also a WWII skirmish but it wasn't planned well, It was supposed to be a Battle of the Bulge battle....In summer. Besides, the troops walked out about 10-20 meters from the US Halftracks and they were supposed to be pretending they couldn't see each other. Also, A Panzer III rushed into the field, shot once at some British commandos, was captured within minutes. I'd prefer to see more from the Panzer. But they had a recon plane swoop down real low into the battle field being shot at by advancing german MG's. And they had a real firing PaK 40 which was amazing. I'll upload some photos in a diffrent thread if I have time or videos on Youtube.
  6. I'll drop him a message! Or mabye even send him a little custom figure of Harris if anyone has one!
  7. Well I apporoached him after seeing a sign saying "Rifleman Harris here today!" so I went over into the tent and was amazed. It was him! Not a very flattering site...He was making a cup of tea. But still, It was Jason! I said "Excuse me, Could I take a picture?" "Yes, of course, I will take as many pictures as you want but I request you buy a photo and I will personally sign it for you. That's my rules." "Oh wow, Great!" "So you can choose anyone, these photos were taken with my personal camera, Yes, During the filming of the show I was rather into taking some photographs of the set during the scene breaks. Heh Heh." "Well they are great photos (Said my dad)" "Oh thank you." "So you these photos were shot in diffrent countries is that right?" "Oh yes, In some episodes we flew all the way to Portugal to film one single scene." "Wow." "Can I please have this photo?" "Yes of course, Erm, Who should I make it out to?" "Oh Laurence, Laurence Ferrett" "And that is you?" "Yes." "Oh what a good name, Wheres my pen..My pen..My...Aha, I have my pen don't I..It's in my bloody pocket, Gah, I'm getting old Haha" "Tooo...Laurence....Niicee..tooo...meeet...you...Harrisss. There you are, Now let me just get a envelope." "There is a leaflet in there with my website, email and such so you may keep in contact. And it also has information on some notes I wrote whilst on the show, about my life during filming which I hope, In future, may turn into a Book, But only time will tell, eh?" "Oh thank you" "So Lets go take these pictures shall we? Erm, Lets stand over here by this photostand so we can get a shot of some of the cast members aswell" "Ok, Taken, Thank you" "Oh why don't we do a close up as well? Just to get your moneys worth! Haha." "Well thank you so much, It was great meeting you." "You are very welcome *Hand shake*" "Well thank you again! Goodbye" "Good bye!" And that was it, I walked off with a huge smile on my face looking at the Autograph.
  8. WWII Moc's. Wehrmacht Mostly.
  9. The One. The Only. Jason Salkey! a.k.a. Rifleman Harris from 'Sharpe'. And last but not least, An Autograph! Sorry, I just thought I'd share that with you
  10. "Little Lion Man" you mean? Nah. Johnny Cashes one has meaning because it sounds like his Eulogy or Will, telling you about his life. Donnie Darko isn't scary at all, It's more of a "...What?" movie than an "Ahhh!" movie.
  11. Great song! I'm in the mood for something a bit "older" whilst playing The Godfather Game on PS2 (Yes, I know its old but its still good ) Django Reinhardt - Nagasaki Django Reinhardt - Minor Swing Mills Brothers - Moaning for you Andy Williams - Speak Softly Love (Godfather theme with lyrics) Can't wait for Mafia II! It's been ages since the first game, about time!
  12. How can you possibly know they are better than Brickarms?
  13. The No.1 thing I'm confused about is, Why am I a Frenchman with stripy trousers?
  14. Oh the X-Factor Auto-tuning, Everyones on about it now! I love the Van, reminds me of something that would be out of a Fallout game, The retro style yet futuristic.
  15. Sabaton - 40 to 1 Sabaton - Final Solution Sabaton - Uprising Sabaton - Midway Great WWII music.
  16. Eminem - Not Afraid Now I'm not much of a Rap guy but this song just means something.
  17. Wouldn't it be safer for the Axeman to fight else where? Incase of splinters of even the Archer messes the shot up!
  18. Yes, Exactly the same for me. I felt so awkward when I went into ASDA's and I saw some Lego, I went over to have a look and my father said "I'm going to go get the shopping, I'll come back in a minute" So for 10 minutes I was standing there, I didn't want to leave because I didn't want my dad worrying where I was and to end up circling each other. And the Lego section is now right facing the Tills. So everyone can see you pick something off the shelf. And if your between 12-20, people will wonder why your buying Lego. I don't actually see people staring at me when I buy Lego, I just feel it. I feel that what if I bump into my friends or just people judge me. But I feel the same, if I told someone I built a large Lego ship, they'd probably laugh and say "You build Lego still?" but when I showed my brothers girlfriend and friend they both said "Wow. Thats amazing.". So I guess they need to see what you really mean, in order to fully understand it. Yes, I don't MOC often, If I do its mostly a small MOC, No real significance, And taking pictures, uploading and posting takes more than an hour that I don't have to spare. So I barely MOC, Anyway, most of my MOC's I'm creating now are prototypes to me new project, LDD MOC's and small experiments with real bricks. I could participate much more but as you rightly said, I don't, For example, Tournaments, I feel I could have gotten quite a few votes for a MOC I made but I never got round to taking a photo and it got damaged so I never bothered.
  19. This is sparta techno remix is so funny! Are you feeling better now Blackmoor?
  20. No I meant the Marder III SdKfz 138, Like in Saving Private Ryan it just looks slightly hanging over the front: But it must be the angle!
  21. Mumford & Sons - Thistle and Weeds My friend sent me the strangest song I've ever heard in my entire life "Die Antwoord - Enter the Ninja". That song makes no sense whatsoever.
  22. Yes, Thats better, Looks like it could go fast now!
  23. It's good! I'd lengthen the bow by 1 more brick though since it looks a little chubby for a streamlined boat!
  24. I was wondering when you were going to make a larger Marder! I love it! Got any views of the Soldiers in it? Also, Isn't the Marder III barrel a bit longer than that? I thought Turrets usually overhang the vehicle? But still, Brilliant!
  25. Well same here, I've not bought a set in about 2-3 months and the set I bought was a small £3 set. I'm amazingly fanatical about Lego, I just haven't gotten round to building anything it about a month, I've got things planned but theres many reasons I can't do it right now. One, My project I have planned is going to cost me about £400 and over to get everything I want. Two, I'm starting to realise that I need money for other things in my life, Phone, Friends, Girls, e.t.c. Three, I need to preserve money for my new Re-enactment hobby I'm starting soon, German Uniform and Equipment is darn expensive these days! I feel the same, I'm just going into my schools Sixth Form and I'm not even sure whether the stuff I've taken, Photography, History, English Literature and ICT are viable options for careers I want. I feel the same, I don't have much space in my room for Lego anymore since I try to hide it incase freinds come over or girls come over, obviously becaue its supposed to be a childs toy and I'm not sure the sight on my friends or girls faces when they see it. My friend who likes Lego says people he knows people who thinks its good because its imaginative...I wish I had friends like that... I've never had the "Dark Ages". In fact Lego has gotten me through mine. As adults I believe its easier to collect Lego. You can decide to have your own room dedicated to Lego, you can recieve more money for a job to put aside for Lego, you can walk into a Lego Store without having to hide your head in shame because you can say your buying it for your child and no one will know any better. Because no one grows up, they just mature. I don't get it that alot of people on this forum I see on the "What did you buy today?" thread seem to buy a Lego set every single day or at least a big set each year. Last big set I bought was the Republic Gunship and that was £80. I save my money for my projects which are more creative and easier to disguise, Such as my HMS Unicorn, I spent over £360 on that and I can say I did it because I'm interested in History, not that I wanted to play with it. It's better than buying lots of little City sets and having Star Wars sets in your city. I'm interested how its worked out for the more AFOL's than me. EDIT: By the way, why does everyone refer to LEGO as "Legos" I hate that.
