Wow I didnt think this topic would be a big turn out! Well there was the Figurehead contest, I guess Im full of bright Ideas! :-D But Im torn between both since I have liked pirates for ages and ages but when I was a child I dressed up as Pirates and Cowboys I meen in my old stuff box ive got a Revolver toy and a flintlock. Well I guess I will have to choose one But which one? I think Western has really more playability Because sometimes people just build armys or Pirate ships for show then smash them up But with western you can just keep it and change certain bits. A bit like my old lego city. It was a few years ago And I had just brought the Harry Potter Knight bus. Ive got to say I love the set but I think on Brickshelf your gonna see alot of Asterix and Obelix minifigs also alot of BlackBeards. But thats what makes the set so good theres alot of useful pieces

I just thought that If you get the Black Beard you can make Edward Teach (BlackBeard)! Woot! *pirate*

Ive got to say Lagoon Lock-up since its well structured and you can use it for ports and towns.

I would have to say both actually since with a castle you change a few bits and make a Imperial Fortress. You could use the Forestmen Hideout to make a pirate hideout I would say that i think: 6249 Pirates Ambush + 6246 Crocodile Cage + 6066 Camouflaged Outpost + 6071 Forestmen's Crossing Would make a hell of a good Hideout Set :-D

I was thinking eventually they will bring out more over the year so if they bring out a Castle I hope they dont make it Like just a wall and nothing inside I want it to be like this one someone is in progress of making: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=276248 That would be really good. I guess the usually castles are ok if you have the 3739 Blacksmith Shop to put in town.

Hey Ive made my House with the spooks but are we allowed this baseplate http://media.peeron.com/ldraw/images/15/3857.png See im not used to all the stud numbers. The one they have in 3538 Snowboard Boarder Cross Race? They use the blue one in alot of Pirate Sets. Thanks

I love your ships but the best is HMS Leopard (HMS Sirius) 8-o Its brilliant Thats a dream ship to me *sweet* Add one more gun deck and it would look a bit like the HMS Victory

I hope that they will bring out a Impulse Pirate one such as: Captain Redbeard with mabye a skeleton like 1411 Pirates Treasure Hunt And mabye a Admiral with a Mini boat or something And woot 30 more posts till 100 *sweet* Also it may flare off a new pirate line! Yay

I wil keep looking I think ive got it! I knew you would say that :-D I understnad but i just think there not like a disgrace to human race they didnt actually copy anything off lego. There is no law against making the same theme because the Pyrates of Full movable but lego isnt so theres a diffrence *y* Anywho Night All!

I know most of you say that Mega Bloks sucks but Once you see what mega bloks will have in store with there pirate line over these years i think lego may want to bring Pirates back Huzzah!
