Bionicle story / character discussion topic.

Look at Superman, though. He's suppose' to be indestructable, but every comic issue he's stupid enough to fall into Lex Luthors Kryptonite trap, almost killing himself. The same goes for the Piraka; they may be virtually unstoppable, but when it comes to brains, they fail. -
You rock! I can't wait! I hope you feel better... :-(

Notorious, eh? lol Maybe Phantoka is a place holder. I remember the first images of the Toa Inika said "Toa Ignika" on them, rather than Inika. BTW, Shine, I love your banner.
-
Actually, I just called them the Toa Phantoka for a filler so we don't get mixed up with the older Nuva, and the newer Nuva. And, stated in Tyrande's (who has seen the retailer's catolog) on page 8, both the Phantoka an the Nuva's boxes have the words "Phantoka" writen on them. So, yeah. Just my idea, really. *sweet*

The picture looks black to me. Hmm... Woah Zaktan, take a breather. Critism is neccisary for a debate, however, name calling and rude remarks is not.

Tyranide said he'll try to get some scans. I'd be happy with that, lol! Go Tyranide! But heres what we've got so far as far as sets: TOA NUVA v.2.0: 8685 Kopaka Nuva v.2.0 - WHITE 8686 Lewa v.2.0 - GREEN 8687 Pohatu v.2.0 - ORANGE PHANTOKA (MAKUTAS): 8691 Antroz - RED 8692 Vamprah - BLACK 8693 Chirox - BLUE MATORAN of KARDA NUI: 8944 Tanma - GREEN 8945 Solek - WHITE 8946 Photok - ORANGE 8947 Radiak - RED 8948 Gavla - BLUE 8949 Kirop - BLACK OTHER: 8697 Toa Ingnika Midak Skyblasters & Trydax Pod for projectiles; Trydax Pods hold "Shadow Leeches". HERE is an image of what seems to be Karda Nui, hence the bat.

LOL, yes! Why couldn't LEGO have thought of that?! :-| It's genius! I keep on looking at Pohatu and thinking it's a fire element model. It'll take some gettting used to. 'Coars, when I look at Caparar, I think of bananas. So I guess the orange is a step in the right direction. Kind along those lines: I still don't see what the difference between stone and earth is. It's been seven years and I still don't see why they chose such closly related elements. I've been told the difference several times in the past, but I can't seem to get it though my noggin. *sweet* Why the heck not electricity?
-
Oh I see. I'm sure its a prototype image. I don't see a reason why LEGO would change the mold for the piece.
-
How so? I see no differences in any pieces.
-
That can't be Pohatu Nuva. It resembles nother like the original. It's my belief that THAT is a baddie. I like him, though. I like him a-lott.
-
Are we sure these guys are the Nuva? They could be the baddies.
-
Ah, yes! Finally they make a large sized set that isn't a playset. Finally! P.S. HALO 3, less than a day!!!!
-
Oh yeah! I saw that topic! Your Hier of the Chronicler?
-
Woah! That's great stuff! Very professional. *y*

Speak of the Devil: I was at my local Wal Mart this evening, and I found Lesovikk. I grabbed him, rushed home, and got him built. All the pieces were there, and none of the pieces broke. I'm quite pleased with him if I do say so myself. It came with an extra one of those missing piece wheel thingys, as a matter of fact. And the lime ball joints seemed as sturdy as a rock. *y* I was also surprised to see that the instruction pamphlet was the size of a canister set booklet, rather than the size of a regular boxed set. My 2007 collection is complete! :'-) Minus those Donald Duck promos in Europe, which I hope to get soon. :-P And of coarse, I have none of those filthy Playsets. *waves hand in a way as if to brush the thought from his mind. *sad*

I'd recomend them. I don't know what I could say to convince you rather then saying that I love mine. The price is a bit steep, though. If I were you, I would wait for a clearance, but deffinatlly buy them. If you liked the Inika, you'd like the Mahri. :-) P.S. I love The Office! I caught your joke. ;-) P.S.S. Season Three just came out on DVD, btw!

Actually, now that I look at the TimeLine, it looks like a bunch of the information has been erased. It only has years 04' an 05'. 8- -

Here's the BZPower Timeline. That'll get you up to speed on everything 2001-2005. As for 2006, the Piraka go to Voya Nui in search for the Mask of Life. Then the Toa Inika come by, also in the search for the Mask of Life, and the Inika and the Piraka basically race to get the mask. The Piraka team up with Brutaka, and the Inika team up with Axxon and the Voya Nui Resistance. They find the mask to be guarded by a couple of guardians, speciffically Vezon and Fenrakk; they fight; Vezon and Fenrakk, along with the other guardians and the Piraka, are defeated. The mask ends up falling into the ocean, and down to Mahri Nui. The Toa Inika follow the mask, and become the Toa Mahri... That is a VERY watered down version of 2006. I don't know where you could go to get the whole info. For everything 2007, go to BIONICLE.com. Anyways, I hope Matoro doesn't end up betraying them. He used to be such a good little Matoran back on Mata Nui. -

Bleh! They're fake. Thay have to be. There'd be no point to live if they were real. And I'm still alive, obviously, so they must be fake. That black winged guy looks decent, though. -

Seems like they would tell us in the very begining that Makuta is a species, rather that holding that info for another time. It just happens to come up with Greg. And I can't help thinking that Greg makes stuff up on the spot. When a kid asks a question, he seems to have an answer to it. He has a answer to everything. I liked they idea in 2001 and 2002 that there was questions that you couldn't answer, and things you couldn't explain. But now, you ask Greg, and he says: "Girls and boys in the BIONICLE world aren't like the girls and boys here on Earth" or some other reason that makes you want to throw up. I understand that we may be blaming Greg with things he has nothing to do with. But still. It all went down hill when he took over the Story Team. You can't help but be a little suspicious. I don't know. It just seems he's read too many comic books to me, and he's trying to make it his own universe, rather than the fan's. -
Why wont they tell us who gave them the information? Seems like if they wanted to prove they were fake, they would tell us who spawned the info.

As I am not a MOCer myself, but just a collector, I have no idea how to go about with criticizism and praises... ... But if I were to see these on the shelf, I would pull out the cash for them. Well done!

I stand corrected. Brickshelf will always have them hidden somewhere, and BZP has great benefits. As for the exclusive ties with GregF: he's a nice guy. I feel a bit bad for him with all those kids PMing him hundreds of messages a day. He does sacrifice alot, I guess. But I must be honest, I don't like his style lately. And I say that with as much respect as possible. He's done some great things for BIONICLE, and BZP. But I'm not liking the whole "Makuta is a species", and "There's this certain amount of Toa." He kinda ruined the whole "Six Heroes, agaist One Powerful Villain" thing, which was a thing I loved about BIONICLE, back in the days. :-/ And again, I say this in a way to be corrected if I'm wrong, if I've got my facts mixed up. -

Yes, I try to not judge them on their first apperances, as they always seem to turn out better when they are released. I deffinately will be sneaking a peak and saving them on my computer before they dissapear from BZP, due to the "Leaked Pictures" rule they have over there. :-P
