Ooo! The Assault Tiger is my favorite. I just love thos bell bottoms :-P. But seriously. The Assault Tiger is a breakthrough in Exo-Force. As a collector of EF since '06, that baby is my best mech out of all three years... IMO.
-
One of my favorite things to do is to search for these little hard to find sets. They my not be pretty, but they sure do bring out the collector in me.
-
The spider one is the Brickmaser exclusive for sure. I don't know about the monkey. Remember this picture? I am SICK of lime green now.
-
I also agree there are sets that have the detail and the posability (Battle Arachnoid!) And I know I can modify the set (already did!) But I feel the set designers should make those ajustments BEFORE they release the set. Surely they saw the problem; it's quite obvious! Ah, well. I guess they can only have so many pieces in a $15 set... 244 pcs is already pushing their standards (though I'm not complaining :-).)

I recenty purchased set 8115 Dark Panther of the Exo-Force line. The details are supurb, and it has a heafty 244 piece count. But once the set was built, it was like a statue. The head has no movement, and the elbows and knees are stiff, making it a hard one to pose. I love the set; it has rich detail! But what's the point of detail if you can't show it off in a cool pose? So my question: Should posability be sacrificed for detail?
-
I love the set! Just not the name... I'm gunna buy it, though.
-
Yeah it reminds me of the "Find the Power" slogen back in 2001/2002. Maybe that's one thing they are doing to bring back the 2001 'feel'... ... It's not really working, though. :-/

Wow... I really do not like that post. Your second post here on EB and your implying we are noobs and telling us to I'm a moron? Tisk, tisk, tisk... I've never liked a dirty mouth. Even if it's an acronymn I don't like the word "judgment." I prefer "opinion." Yes, some members are making an opinion on these photos. But that does not mean it will be their final opinion. It's only our opinion at the moment. And, like the pictures, these opinions are subject to change. You yourself posted your own opinion on these photos. Your opinion is that you like them. Does that mean that we all have to? Nope! Not at all! Here on Euro Bricks, Keyblade, we value each other's opinion instead of telling each other to I'm a moron. So lets stay away from that dark... dark pathway, and be gratefull for each other as a communty. :-) Take it from all of us here on the BIONICLE forum that you want to stay on the good side of a guy named Starwars4J. ;-)

By all possible means I mean waiting for a review on the set or something rather. You can't pass a judgment on these pics anyway. And if you did, you couldn't go out and buy it yet.
-
Agreed. Back in 2001, for example. The Toa Mata were in poses that the actual sets could never do! You would have never known that until you had the sets in your hands! And I also buy the sets for the pure love for BIONICLE. Or it could be my curse of bad self-containment. :-P
-
I don't know why people *coughgregcough* say, "don't judge a set untill you have it in your hands." It's like saying "I'm going to waste my money on something to see if I like it." Once you've got the set in your hands, and decided the set sucked... YOU"VE ALREADY BOUGHT THE DANG SET! You can't go back and get a defferent set! So safe-shoppers (aka smart people [i'm not pointing fingers]) would evaluate it through all possible means BEFORE buying the set. Even if that means judging a book on it's cover. Or in this case, judging a set on it's picture. So judging on these pics (:-P), I can say I like them. Not for WHO they are, but for WHAT they are. If they were brand new Toa, they'd be better. But due to the un-reseblence to the Nuva's former... forms... they loose a bit of points. I agree with Rayg (I'm not sure if he said this here on EB, or on BZP) that they need some silver in them. I should be rejoicing that LEGO finally stopped using all the silver, but the Toa Nuva just aren't Nuva with out the silver armor. :-/ They need CHROME! That would be a dream...

THIS. IS... A LINK! Haha! My area is stock-full of all the new sets. No Icarax though...
-
Uh, well, we obviously want you to post pics. Ever heard of the saying "treat others the way you want to be treated"? It apparently works really well! :-)
-
How are we suppose to believe you? ... Oh, well! Are your pics blury? Who is who in the new Makuta? (colors) Wha's the new projectile like? Are they similar to the Phantoka at all? Why can't you post the pics, again? Anything unique about 'em?
-
I believe the riders of all these vehicles are the preliminary parts. They just aren't right. :-/
-
What does the writing on the canisters say? Mastika? They are so blurry! Why is it when people get a retailer's catalog in there hands with never before seen LEGO sets, they can never get decent pics...
-
New Brickmaster Exclusive pics. You can see the BIONICLE one at the bottom. Link.
-
You have all six pics?! Tell us where you got them then...
-
Where are the Gorast and Tahu Nuva pics? Who saved them? AH! Clonie, you wont get in trouble. This ain't BZP. No one is going to take away your Proto. :-P
-
I know it's not Pohatu. I'm saying it's the same thing as Pohatu, with minor difference. Sorry for the lack of explination. ;-) Is the new Avohkii gold with a shadow over it, or is it really that color?
-
... What? I actually like them... The figures in the actual vehicles needs some changing (TWO Pohatus?!). I'm glad they are preliminary, but if they turn out not too different from these, I'd be happy. EDIT: 2003 Makuta vs. 2008 Takunuva! :'-)
-
Back on the summer '08 names... The remaining Toa Nuva and Takunuva! I'm excited to see how they turn out. I don't know what to expect out of them... A BZPer had a good idea of the remaning Makuta: I like the idea of reptilian-like Makuta. And a vulture-like Rahi. *y* Then I believe the "T" sets are giant robots. I pray that they arn't vehicles. A BZP member said he wanted "giant weapons to place your entire hand or arm in to fire them." :'-( Rockoh T3 would be a land based titan, Jetrax T6 an air-based, and Axalara T9 a water-based(?) Titan. I don't know what to think of the Mazeka character. I hope he's not another Toa (that would make 9 this year!) or Makuta (9 again!). I hope he's just a plain ol' Titan.

Icarax is a TRU exclusive, right?
-
Hahahahahahahahahaha! HA!

Chirox is bleh, Kopaka is bleh-er. Antroz's wings arn't as cool as they seem. Go with Lewa. *y* If you want wings, though, Vamprah comes with two pairs. :-) Don't get Pohatu. ;-)
