Another thing to point out is that Greg is a comic collector. You see him quoting or referencing to DC or MARVEL comics all the time. I think thats where he gets all his ideas. Comic books. He's just a normal, average, comic book collector that got lucky and is now writing comics himself. He has no originality at all. Whenever he runs out of ideas he just goes off and reads The Amazing Spider-Man issue #156 and puts it into BIONICLE form... I think its about time LEGO should get a new, fresh, and young writer for BIONICLE... And who was the original writer of BIONICLE back in 2001-2003? That Shakespear guy or Hapaka?

I'm lonivin' Nocturn. His color scheme rocks. I will definatly pick one of them off the shelfs. Here is my opinion: 2001 is overated. Sure it was cool and fun. But I always hear on BZP and Eurobricks that the BIONICLE storyline is repeitive. AND IT IS! But wouldn't it be even more repetitive if it was all like 2001? Let me hear your thoughts on this so I can understand what you guys are thinking.

Ah, I see what your saying. I agree with that a little. But I believe the thing truely killing BIONICLE is not Greg, but these crap promotions such as Save the Band. If anything, Greg is trying to keep some adult intrest in the storyline. But it's kinda hard with only a fan site like BZP and the children books he's writing now. If LEGO were to give him more freedom (like let him write a REAL novel), then I'm sure life with BIONICLE would be a bit better...

lol That is pretty funny. I've been with BIONICLE since 2001 and I do agree that the storyline has lost alot of touch. And I see that making fanfiction is a great and fun thing to do. But I guess the thing I hate seeing is people caring too much about BIONICLE and how original the storyline goes. Its not Star Treck for goodness sakes. As much as I don't want to say this, BIONICLE is a toyline. Its sappose to apeal to kids. Not guys from ages 17-to however old Jinzo is :P. Its not made to be comlicated. It feels thats what everyone is looking for. We just need to take a reality check and look at the "Age 7-16" label on the box.

Wow! Blood? Just a year ago LEGO was afraid to call the weapons "weapons" so they replaced it with "tool". Now they have blood? They sure are raising the bar... I think the blood on Pridak's face makes him look like a bird. Do BIONICLEs even have blood? Anyways. I guess the gold a gunmetal colors have made the silver stuff more bearable. But still... A red katana or something would be nice. -Kynok

I like them. I'm not too impressed with Pridak's usage of the Nuva legs. That'll restrict his posability. I love Kalmah's three eyes, and Ehlik's color scheme. Takadox is my fave, though. I've always thought a giant blue praying mantis would be manacing. I think Carapar is the worst. He's cool, but too wide. I don't see why all the folks over at BZP like him. Mantax looks nice; He looks like he'd be Steve Erwin's worst nightmare! RIP, Steve, RIP... Overall, they look a bit simple, and I don't like how they all have the silver mandibles. Why does everything have to be silver? It's like 2001's worst nightmare! RIP, 2001, RIP...

I'd say my favorite would be Mantax and Takadox. Just becuase there animal-like. Kalmah looks pretty bulky looking, so thats a plus. The Ehlek and Carapar are... Cool but weird. And my least favorite would be Pridak. I still like him, but he's too... Blobby. I'll have to wait for a better pic. The white ones have always been my favorite, 'cept this one. I'll be buyin' one of each. As for Defilak and Dekar, there cool, but could be better. The could have different weapons at least. But I guess the masks make up for that. Morak and Thulox are cool, but they are EXACTLY the same. Good parts in them, though. Overall, the "Matorans" seem like pretty decent small sets. I'll get 'em. I don't know about the Hydruka/Polyps. For the past three years I've hated the collectibles. I just don't see luanchers as a very collectible-y thing. I wont be spending my money on those... I wonder if they'll come in different shapes, though. Or just different colors. Theres my two cents. I just pretty much stated the obvious, though. lol -Kynok

I know there not hard to follow. I seem to be doing it pretty easily now as a matter of fact. I'm not banned. I've earned Proto. And I've got some good connections over there. I've never really cared what he said on BZPower. I wait for the comics and such for the storyline instead of ruining the surprise a year early. But I'm curious now... What has he "lied" about?
