  1. You take that back! If there's once thing I can count on in my life is that there will be a new landspeeder every 2 to 3 years and if I could replace that AT-AT with anything, I'd choose an $800 landspeeder every single day.
  2. I just hope that they bring Kamas back. Printing is nice and all but I don't think it even comes close to how good kamas look on the figures. The last snow troopers didn't have them, Echo would have looked awesome with one too.
  3. I got my email Saturday night saying it had been shipped but it didn't actually get out till yesterday and estimated by the end of the week I'll have it (I'm in the US). Safe to say they are finally getting through that back log. I can't imagine how backed up they must be, this is my first time ordering the night of release so this is all new to me, but I'm happy I don't have to wait months to get a hold of the Gunship so that is very relieving .
  4. This is definitely the outcome I'm hoping for.
  5. Well that was a little nuts. I went to my local LEGO store and the line was easily 100+ people before opening and apparently some had been there since 3:30am. I stood no chance. Thankfully last night though I placed my UCS Gunship order online and got my confirmation. I figured it would be sold out by now so seeing that it's still not has me a little concerned for the future of Prequel UCS sets. Costco has the Slave 1 for $38.99 so I swung by there and picked it up and I stopped at 3 different Targets and 2 Fred Meyers and only found the Bad Batch Shuttle at 1 Target. So then I just ordered the rest off of Amazon which says delivery will be tomorrow. I was definitely expecting for everything to be Sold Out by the time I finally placed that Amazon order. This is my first time ordering off the LEGO store on a launch, does anyone know what the "usual" shipping times are for something like that? I'm aware they are already warning of delays for US shipping.
  6. I honestly love the new design. I definitely wasn't a big fan of those Rebel Pilot helmets though so i can understand where people are coming from but the updated helmets for the Snow Troopers, Scout Troopers, and Storm Troopers are all huge wins in my eyes. Has anyone gone into their local LEGO store the day of release? I was going to go tomorrow morning, just wanted to make sure that you didn't need to reserve your ahead of time if that is even a thing LEGO does.
  7. Hasn't that been the rumored price point even before we knew it was either the Death Star or AT-AT? I guess I'm confused at to why that's a shock, and after the success of the Millennium Falcon I think this is the next best thing without going all wishy-listy I saw the new sets out besides the Marauder out at a Target near me including some Marvel ones. I tried picking up the Bad Batch Shuttle but it seems Target's system is far more secure now and won't allow the sale until August 1st. The person helping me tried everything they could to get it to go through too. *Sigh* At least I know they'll have it in stock on Sunday.
  8. *Sigh* Guess I'll have to buy at least 3 then. And don't even try getting my hopes up about a Venator. With this being released August 1st when would be a reasonable time-frame be for the AT-AT? I know most Fall UCS sets drop to VIP around mid-September and to general public around October 1st, but with the Gunship releasing in August, September seems like too quick of a turn around to drop another massive set the following month.
  9. I love the way the Gunship turned out! I would have preferred less studs, especially on the back, but that doesn't seem to be too much of a concern for TLG so I wasn't getting my hopes up in that department. I'm glad there's no real "exclusive" figure here although I'm still trying to figure out the overall figure selection as well as the new printing for the Clone Commander. I was under the impression that his current design was more of the Clone Wars style than the realistic style. Either way it'll take some time for me to get used to. I'm also a little bummed because now I need TLG to produce the same style for the Captain, Lieutenant, and Sergeant, as well as the standard clone. Those leg printings are just too nice. I really think a Clone Pilot and standard clone should have gone with this though, definitely more fitting and iconic to this ship in my opinion. I'm so excited to finally have my very first prequels UCS set. I've been wanting them to expand past the Original Trilogy since I got into collecting UCS like 8 years ago.
  10. I wasn't overly stoked about getting ANOTHER Slave 1 but man this smaller model just looks so dang nice. I'm loving all of these sets especially the minifigure lineup seems absolutely insane, best ones in recent memory and we aren't even finished with the year.
  11. If this is the case, wouldn't that mean we could expect the AT-AT to be released sometime probably late in the Fall, or is it just the info of the Gunship that would be releasing Mid-Summer? I always have been under the impression that a UCS info release is shortly before the actual release.
  12. This for sure. The fan base is too large for them to just drop it. It's been one of the longest standing themes for LEGO. Anyways, I got all of the helmets and they are all absolutely awesome. I'm REALLY enjoying Vader's helmet even more than I initially thought I would. I'm also enjoying these smaller ships, (X-Wing and Tie Fighter). I'm still kind of bummed that there's a smaller Slave 1 coming, I mean how many times do we need this ship in what seems to be a small time frame, but at the same time, I get it. I'll be dead by the time they actually release another Jango Fett's Slave 1. As for the UCS Gunship, I'm a little bummed it's based from Episode 2, but being one of 3 Prequel UCS sets, I have no doubts it is going to outshine the rest as well as hopefully draw more attention to UCS Prequel sets in the future. I'm glad it doesn't have Cody though. I understand why everyone wants him, I voted for him, but such a great character/figure shouldn't be restricted to buying a UCS set initially.
  13. I'm pumped for the new Bad Batch shuttle. My expectations for ships these days are rather low when they're being released at the beginning of a show/movie since TLG is usually only given concept pieces to work with, but this is looking great in comparison. Looking forward to getting an Omega figure eventually as well. I'm also excited for this troop transport. I do find it a little weird they've gone with the Mortar Trooper before even doing the Incendiary Trooper so hopefully we'll see him sooner or later. I feel like people have TOO high of expectations for the play sets, I'm just happy with the overall variety and honestly the quality we've been getting, and seems to be coming in the future.
  14. I know people aren't the most excited for the shuttle as it's kind of lack luster, but I can't express my joy enough seeing all these main characters in a single set. I know the rumors have been out for quite some time now but seeing a photo, even though quite blurry, it's a real relief I won't be forced to get 2 or 3 sets just to collect the 5 characters.
  15. I've lingered in the background long enough, I don't think I've ever been this excited for the years upcoming sets. I can never remember though, when do prelim pics begin to leak usually? And, is the summer release generally May or June?
  16. My blindness know's no bounds. Lol. Thank you though.
  17. This is amazing! Are/will there be directions for this?
  18. When did we have confirmation of the Millennium Falcon last year? I'm just curious if they are doing something similar with Cloud City. I had seen the released photos of the new Hogwarts castle today so I'm hoping Cloud Cities release photos are just around the corner.
  19. I was able to snag the AT-Hauler, Cloud Rider Swoop Bike, and Anakins Jedi Starfighter at my local Fred Meyer. I’m hoping they end up releasing the Conveyex Train and X-Wing. I can’t wait for the Clone Wars. I hope they continue making the figures less cartoony. I think this also helps explain the release of Anakins Jedi Starfighter.
  20. While I think that would be awesome, I don't see LEGO releasing anything Episode 9 related until next year. Since they haven't even started shooting (or maybe they did just recently, I can't really remember) it would be far too soon for them to release anything yet. BUT, they could leave it open for future additions, like the Assault on Hoth and the new Hoth Medical Center being released.
  21. I'm hoping that they surprise us with something a little different like they did with Ewok Village. Theres a lot of different ways they can go, something similar to the Death Star but in a smaller scale but even having ships that are between micro and system, they can go with a single scene or two similar to Ewok Village, they can do a bigger version of the original Cloud City, or they could even do what they did for Assault on Hoth and make it a collection of sets/scenes (but they won't be sets we've ever gotten before).
  22. I just hope that if they do start to have any Resistance based sets they aren’t given the cartoony looks the OG Clone Wars sets were given. (I’m glad they’ve gone away from that in the most recent Clone Wars sets) Not to start a wish list but there are plenty of things to still produce that haven’t already been. These August releases are a prime example of what they are capable of producing and I hope they can continue this trend. I’m realllllly digging those new Solo sets.
  23. My guess would be they won’t do anything this year or anything until later next year as they typically do with December released movies. I would think LEGO would use this gap in movies to catch up on remakes as well as anything they haven’t touched that they’d like to.
  24. Was the Imperial Dropship ever speculated? I had never seen anything regarding it until the photos were released. I've seen some people thinking that the Dropship could have been confused with the V-19 Torrent but I find it hard to believe even with the lower wings being 'somewhat' similar. So is it safe to assume that LEGO will continue producing Clone Wars sets but without the Clone Wars 'esque' art/figures?
  25. Maybe I mistook the info I had seen previously (seems like it was quite a while ago) but is it just rumored or is it confirmed that there will still be an additional 3 Solo sets that are known? The fact that the Mudtrooper, Rangetrooper, and Enfys Nest aren't in any set currently would make me believe they wouldn't leave these guys out of sets while the Solo hype is still high. All the other rumors I'm all up for besides the Resistance Transport. (My guess being the escape transports in episode 8?)
