  1. Which is why we are asking for feedback. The more feedback you offer, the better we can tailor to your needs. Skype is good in that it can call ordinary phones (for a small fee), so I see no possibility why someone wouldn't be contactable.
  2. Skype is correct! I was indeed talking to Bonaparte Skype to Skype when this was recorded, and the intention is to use Skype in future episodes - Skype to Skype where possible and Skype to phone if need be. (Skype offers very reasonable rates) So we should continue in audio format? If so we might see if we can register an iTunes podcast for ease of downloading.
  3. That would be fantastic! My email address is news-coordinator@classic-pirates.com
  4. The Advent Calendar is a prize for the Creative Critic category, you win it by giving good solid feedback on all the entries. Listen to 'Behind The Helm' Episode #9 and you'll hear all about it.
  5. The Creative Critic category isn't a building category, it is all about giving feedback to the building entries. For a more detailed run down of it, check out 'Behind The Helm' Epidode #9 ~ Pillage the Village II.
  6. Oh crap, I hope not, otherwise we'll need to think of a different name!
  7. Ahoy mateys, it be time fer another 'Behind The Helm'! But this time we're doing things differently - we're trying out a new format and having an audio interview rather than a text one. So if we can get yer feedback on it, that'd be gold as we want to know what ye think for future episodes. Joining me again today is Tom "Bonaparte" Jacobs, Eurobricks Root Admin and Classic-Pirates.com LEGO Ambassador to talk about Classic-Pirates.com's new contest, Pillage the Village II! Giving us plenty of details and an insight into the history of the new contest, Tom was a great ginuea pig for the new audio version of 'Behind The Helm'. Let us know what ye think! To listen to 'Behind The Helm' Episode #9 ~ Pillage the Village II, please click here. To download this episode to your computer, right click and "Save Target As..." on this link. Yargh, enjoy everyone!
  8. Grrr! You bloody train guys and your awesome unbeatable MOCs... Good job! I've never actually seen these cars, but I'm sure this MOC is just as realistic as the actual thing. Were these owned by V-line or another railway?
  9. Just over an hour until the 25th in some parts of the world - it's close!
  10. Yep, and I was playing it with the Static Megaphones, yet to release their first album.
  11. That would be the wonderful Classic-Pirates.com Crew, without them, we could never have such an awesome prize pool! Keep up the great work guys.
  12. I'm finally posting here. That's me playing a Silverstein song with my band at a jam session. Dig the awesome motion blur!
  13. Three cheers for the Classic-Town.net team! Keep up the fantastic work that gives me my daily town and train fix!
  14. Happy Birthday guys! May your day be full of fun with friends and family, and a spot of LEGO and beer if you're really lucky!
  15. Does anyone have any links to images of the new sets?
  16. You can find the winners of the large division here, the winners of the medium division here and the winners of the small division here.
  17. How much longer will this tournament be going for?
  18. "In a world without genitals, who would?" - One of the best lines in a brick flick I've seen! The dominoes building scene was fantastic, the octopus apparatus made me laugh out loud, and the cow scene was just plain funny. The robot was also very cool. I like your ideas, you are a very talented brickfilmer. I look foward to the next episode! And what was the music?
  19. Great job mate! The music was very well chosen on top of some supurb animation that carried a very well planned and amusing story. Tops effort, keep em up!
  20. I would suggest another Brickbeard's Bounty or Soldiers' Fort. I would suggest another BB for MOCing, more sails, more masts, more hull parts. I would also suggest Soldiers' Fort because I think that it was too small. A few slightly modded modular sections wouldn't go to waste. Interesing topic!
  21. All the best Skipper, and many thanks fer your contributions to Classic-Pirates.com - may they continue well into the future! Happy birthday mate!
  22. Hello SirGoldenNight, welcome to Eurobricks! Be sure to keep an eye on Classic-Pirates.com for all your Pirate needs!
  23. Great work Derfel Cardarn! Frontpage material as usual. When you say "which joins onto my previous models." does that mean you have the others built and you will be putting them all together at some stage?
  24. Happy birthday everyone! And not too much pillagen' Tiber!
