Inspired by Those Who Have Gone Before

I still love it! Now I´m just a bit angry cause I don´t have Photoshop! But I´ve to try it on GIMP instead. Thanks for letting us know how you did it cause it looks perfect! -
So both finalists were Avalonians!? In Nocturnia and inside the Drow land?! That´s great news! And Angeli, you and your Drows are always welcome to great western plains to live with the champions!! Great idea with the contest Angeli!

Welcome to EB and Historica! Sorry to say, but Avalonia is closed at the moment for new members. Avalonia have to many members compared to the other guilds. If you want you can always join them. -
What a great idea! How did you came up with the idea? Never heard of any Melting Festival in real life.. The moc itself is great! Looks like the folks are having a great time! Are there more mocs to follow that will guide us in to the Mitgardian spring?
-
This is wonderful! It surely has a good mix of the two guilds and they blend very good! I really like your own building style! I may have to borrow that great idea for oil lamps that are attached at the roof! Great work on this one!

Wow Mikey! You really should have that little tan brick with moc expert under your pic! This embassy is so great! The colour scheme is perfect and is really eye pleasing! The timbered roof (that you uses in Avalonia sa well) is great and fits perfect in this land! The little market street outside makes the whole scene busy with life! And between you and me and my question I had before, that camel packing is great! Have to buy some of those backpacks!

Blackmoor: Wow that moc looks stunning! Just love your style of building!! Sounds great DC! -
That´s one mean looking building! Great job on this, I like the arch on the back of the building! With the height of this one it could be seen in all of Avalonia! I´m coming over for a cup of tea my dear Drowmaster!

Again a great review! A faction that never reached Sweden... These fellas looks really intresting! But of course the wolfpacks are way cooler! The large set with all the details is a set I would love to have!!
-
It´s just great! A small moc packed with great details and techniques! The ice under the tower is a great little detail!
-
I think that it has it´s charm when building huges castles like this. Just like castle should be built. The earlier stages are not as improved or advanced as the ones being built "now"...
-
A great combination of wood and stone! Like how you did the different angels to the embassy! And the winds seems a little funny, looking at the two flags waving in differnt directions!
-
What a peacefull little scene! Just love it! The snot rocks and the little watchtower are my favourites!!
-
Looks really good! It has a real classic castle style to it and I like that a lot! The snow on the roofs are really well done, looks like the snow have melted a bit, only leaving some snow on top of the roofs! Fun to see the kids play in the snow!

The floor, the tomb, the windows are all so great! But nothing can compare to the lightning of this moc! It´s just brilliant and adds so much life to your abs bricks! How did you do that? A regular lamp? -
Thanks guys! Jason: Thank you so much! Glad to hear you kind words!
-
Looking good! With that great dark army I guess you would be most welcome to Nocturnia in the Historica subforum!!

Avalonia is closed at the moment beacuse of many members. Perhaps join Mithgardia and build in their southern regions? -
Looking really good! As said before, very Avalonish with some spice of Kaliphin! One or two minifigs to guard the embassy perhaps? But then again, we Avalonians are a peacefull people so you don´t have anything to fear!

I just love the colour scheme on this beauty!! The dark red roof is lovely! The building it self is great! The stair up to the house, the chimney and the windows... just perfect! And I love the fact that you give the sides on the base so much detail! Have to try that on my next moc after my inn.. And I have to agree with my friend Mikey here, every time I see a moc from you I always visit BL! -
Wow Z! This beuaty looks even better with the improved pics! The contrats between our green and lush area and the black and dead Nocturnian land is great! As I said before, that technique from TB is great and you manage to incorporate is so good in this moc! The tudor style houses are your strength and this my friend is no exception! Great work Z!!!
