Now this is some great criticism. I never thought about using trans blue with the clear. I totally get what you mean. That's an awesome idea. I need to stock up on trans blue. Thank you, Corweena!

Corweena, we are mate's. I will respond to your post later. Thank's for the honesty. Didn't want to leave you hanging.

Why do you agree with him? Can you actually give me some constructive criticism instead of going along with someone who dosen't know why they don't like it?
-
I will be getting thousands of those trans clear 1x2 plates and trans blue 1x1 round plates. I've started collecting blue boards to make huge scenes with that water style. You should expect it every single time you see a new topic by me. Sorry about that. I'm only about pleasing myself and if it pleases other pirates and ninja, then that's a bonus. Sometimes I do aim to please others, but not usually. I'm an evil pirate ghost. Remember?

Thank you, for letting me use your character! We'll have to do something like this again in the future. I think it turned out better than what we talked about!

Is there going to be guys drinking rum in the street? Looking good so far!

185D Captain BeerBeard and Bjornu met at Pirate Cave a while ago. BeerBeard bought Bjornu a drink and they had an interesting conversation. Bjornu told his story to BeerBeard about how he became an owner of a sloop "Katarina" that was being worked on as they drink. BeerBeard was captured by Bluecoats about fifteen years ago and hid a map on the bluecoat sloop he was prisoner on. He wondered if this could be the same sloop. BeerBeard did get the young pirate to admit that he had found a map. Bjornu had some big plans cooking up. He wasn't just going to hand the map over to BeerBeard. BeerBeard made a deal for the map. He had to have this map. Bjornu wanted fire power. He has some serious plans. Captain BeerBeard and Bjornu agreed that fifteen muskets for the map was fair and that they stay neutral with each other and stay out of each other's way. So they agreed to make the deal at CannonBlast Island. It's not a place you want to be seen. The story credit goes to Classic-Pirates member Bjornu. Thanks! It was fun. C&C welcome. Bjornu inspects the quality of the muskets. BeerBeard already celebrating his reunion with the old map. Bjornu's new fire power. The two pirates celebrating with some rum.

This is obviously the Black Pearl from Dead Man's Chest. The figures make sense if you saw that movie. It also could be from At World's End. Weren't all these guys in the end battle of that movie?

The images are gone. I'm glad I saved them.

I'll try to photograph it as best I can. I will post it later.

I'm definitely getting two of these babies. Does anyone know what the American price for this will be?
-
I have about fifty more pictures I can upload. Do you guys want anything specific? Let me know.

I didn't compare the two because I did not want to turn the review into me ranting about lack of cannons and details etc.. I would rather you all make up your own minds. The Black Pearl is more roomy for adult hands than the QAR. I can't fit my hands anywhere on the QAR without knocking something over. Honestly, the Pearl is like a pimp version of the Renagade Runner if that gives you all a better idea. Partswise QAR is far superior. See there I go ranting. I'll leave it at that.

Damn! Patrick has an ill body for a fleshie pirate. Does anyone else wonder why none of the PotC sets came with a palm tree or at least the leafs?

Name: Black Pearl Set Number:4184 Theme: Pirates of the Caribbean Pieces: 804 Minifigures: 6 Ages: 9-16 Year: 2011 Price: 99.99 U.S. Dollars Box Art Contents: Instructions: The Black Pearl comes with two manuals. Both manuals have the same cover. You also get a huge double sided poster. It's awesome! Poster Images: Minifigures: Front View Minifigures: Back View I love the minfig selection. Davy is sweet and has a new peg leg color! The head printing on Bootstrap Bill is really awesome! His bandanna is also a new color? I don't know for sure. Pictures Of The Build: I do not like this rudder flap. It doesn't stay in good and it makes the ship hard to pick up. Check out the anchor. Yes, it really does just sit there waiting for Will Turner to throw it overboard. Finished Pictures: I dig those black feathers. Is this the first set with the black feather? I like this part of the ship a lot. That old skool door takes me back in time. It's roomy for a small ship. No comment. There is room for a small party in the cabin. It is pretty simple in here. I can't say I like this, but at least there is room for improvment. Extra Parts: Final Judgment: Build:6/10 It's easy and only takes about two and a half hours. Design:7/10 I'm only giving it a seven because I actually like most of the ship. The anchor really brings this score down. I think seven is fair. Playability: 10/10 Parts/Mocability:10/10 There is a whole bunch of goodness here for pirate mocing. Minifigures: 10/10 The repeat figures are welcome. The new figures are very welcome. Price:8/10 The price is fair. You could do a lot worse for a hundred bucks. Total:51/60 I'm happy with this ship and would recomend it. I love the black color.

That's really good to know about deck planks. I had no idea. Is there a guide on this site with terms and descriptions for the different parts of ships?

I got two of the ninja. It doesn't look like anyone knows about it where I live. I had to get a manager over to the service desk because the idiots weren't giving them out.

I said about three left. We are havining an indian summer here in northwest Indiana. The good light is gone around 11:27 a.m. After that the shadows are really long. Then it will be grey here for about eight months.
