  1. And I'm so very glad that is the case. If Lego did this, it would only show that they're very easily influenced by hundreds of children spamming their social media accounts. It's not like all of those people genuinely want to see it happen, they're just following the crowd
  2. They wanted the length to be around the same of a regular rifle when you take the claw part of it off, that's why they went with a pistol + lightsaber hilt for the build of it
  3. The Porg looked 10x better than... that
  4. I wouldn't say "guaranteed" if I wasn't 100% sure, with hard info from quite a lot of sources. That being said, I'd reread my message from Friday again, but closely
  5. That was back then, now I can guarantee it
  6. When I said these sets were cancelled, I meant it. And that even goes for the ones with names. That doesn't mean that the line is over though, but don't speculate over sets that I can guarantee aren't going to happen please - it's just gonna give you expectations for something that won't happen
  7. I'm pretty sure Phoebe's face was designed with this set in mind, it's just that Fleur used it a few months too early. The same happened with a slope brick that was originally created for a UCS Star Wars model, but got released first in the Overwatch line. Same thing happened with the Ant-Man helmet that was first used in a DC set. The regular face just looks exactly as quirky as the character and the second face is clearly a singing expression for her
  8. There are quite a few stickers, sadly http://imgur.com/gallery/t5GYiDY
  9. Remember, we saw Gunther's torso leak. I also have my doubts that a licensed set with 6+ figures would have a price to part ratio of 6.5 Of course, Gunther could be a GWP, but I seriously have my doubts about it.
  10. I'm guessing PotC is a license they automatically have under their Disney contracts. Not sure about Scooby-Doo though
  11. That is certainly true, I don't know a single Doctor Who fan in real life apart from people I recommended the series to. It's indeed quite obscure outside of the UK. But then again Lego has done BrickHeadz for very obscure licenses before. Designing and producing those doesn't cost Lego a lot of money, which is why we still have (a very slim) chance of getting a pack for the show
  12. Okay, I need to correct myself. Looking at this list, I noticed that Minecraft was also not featured there. IPs that were introduced through Ideas are only listed in the second list of already accepted projects. We still have a small chance to get DW Brickheadz after all!
  13. Yeah, because the ideas project reached 10k supporters, but I specifically remember "Doctor Who" being part of the active licenses list a while ago. I'm 99.9% sure they no longer have the license
  14. Actually, looking at this link, it seems like Doctor Who is no longer a license held by Lego, they still list things such as Lord of the Rings or The Wizard of Oz, but Doctor Who is nowhere to be seen Active Licenses: Entertainment Star Wars, MARVEL Super Heroes, DC Super Heroes, The LEGO Batman Movie, The LEGO Movie (1 & 2), The LEGO NINJAGO Movie, Disney characters (Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Tinker Bell/Peter Pan), Moana, Frozen, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel, Cars, The Incredibles, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Mulan, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, The Power Puff Girls, "Jurassic" franchise (Jurassic World/Jurassic Park), The Nightmare Before Christmas, Overwatch, James Bond, Toy Story, Stranger Things & The Wizard of Oz.
  15. Yeah, not only did they miss the huge hype train of the game, but also they only sold them exclusively from their website / shops for too long. Overwatch fans looking to buy merchandise don't look on lego.com, they go on the official Blizzard Gear store. The sets should've been available there since day one
  16. I think the sets were fully finished design wise and they were just waiting for the production greenlight, so that's why we have the names. I guess the sales of the first wave were so poor that they canceled it
  17. I'm not saying anything is confirmed since there have been times in the past where multiple people got wrong info from somewhere, but three independent sources, in addition to the one @Hoth Rebel had, doesn't really give me any hope
  18. I heard from three independent sources that this last wave is sadly canceled, so yeah, it's not just his source
  19. Huh, you're right. That's odd
  20. I'm almost 100% certain this won't happen. Both Azog and Bard the bowman simply had the SDCC logo in the bottom left, nothing else. Every other figure from SDCC so far also has a small "exclusive" over the logo, same for Barb. So the Hobbit figures were never even marked as being SDCC exclusive, people just assumed they would be
  21. I think that would sell even less. One thing I could (and really would love to) see is a Brickheadz kit like "Go Brick Me", where you get just enough parts to build all 14 Doctors and their outfits
  22. We first had this discussion when rumors of this set started to surface. Now that Season 3 came out, with more gore and language than ever before, I think it's totally fine for people to discuss the possibility of another set after such a shocking third season
  23. Exactly! We should also remember that the "over the top gore" is only a small part of what we saw in S3. The hospital scene at the end of episode 5 was extremely gory and terrifying, it felt like straight out of a really messed up Stephen King novel.
  24. I totally agree, I'm not expecting to ever get another playset for Doctor Who, but I have hope that we'll get at least one or two Brickheadz next year. They've used their Dimensions / Ideas licenses for such in the past, so I wouldn't say it's too unlikely. Plus, this wouldn't be nearly as big of a risk as another playset with new prints and figures - if one Brickhead fails, it's not going to impact their market too much
  25. Something I should probably also mention is the fact that in very early drafts of TLM2, the Doctor was supposed to be a main character. Which Doctor it would've been was never confirmed, but we were really close to getting at least another minifigure with that film's sets
