It also doesn't help that I'm immediately disinterested in sets that utilize the translucent flames/blaster type things, and a lot of these sets are covered in them.

Is a US release of the Marvel Bricktober set a complete lost hope at this point? As for this wave, I'll probably pick up the Armor Hall, but I'm not in love with it at this point.

For me, I think the Slave 1 should have been a cheaper model. This still seems pricey to be appealing to the kids, while adults would have picked up the UCS. If it was in the $60-75 range, it would have made a lot more sense to me.

I'd be more understanding of a Slave 1 at $60-75 price range, especially as an anniversary set, coming off the heels of the UCS. Excellent. I thought this year's calendar was really good. I would have appreciated a better Dec 24th figure to be on par with previous years, but I felt all the ship builds and everything else was great.

That's a pretty cool fig. Probably not cool enough to make me buy a book, but still cool.

Was the box updated?

I've been seeing more minifig sets with three minifigs for Batman and other series, I could see something for Marvel. I could also see a bricktober type set, especially since the US didn't get to see the marvel one.

Snowspeeders are among my favorite ships. I think those, along with the Slave 1, X Wing, Tie Fighter and AT-AT should frequently have some set available, allowing for variety in sizes, styles, etc.

I look forward to hearing more about it. I imagine there has to be some kind of a landing platform or another ship to justify the increase in pieces and price.

Am I missing something or does the price point for the Slave I look high?

I didn't realize there was one before the 7130, but I guess that was grey with some orange.

If I'm buying a $300 Jurassic Park set, I might have to pick up this minifig to go with it.

Hopefully that snowspeeder will be in grey like the original.

Glad to know there's a Quinjet coming. I didn't get the others, and it'd be nice to add.

I'm just hoping this creates more interest in the old sets. I never got around to opening those and at this point, I'd rather just be rid of them.

Who is the character they introduce before Rodger?

Not interested in the December sets, so I hope its with any purchase.

The intended market is probably me specifically. It's a market of one. I love the R2D2 and the BB8. This will go right along side it. I'm a sucker for porgs.

I'd keep both and compare.
