  1. That's the first problem that I ran into with this guy. I'm thinking because he's a dragon he should go into Castle, but he has modern weapondry. Then there's Special Themes were I've seen a bunch of military stuff, but that doesn't make any sense with this guy either. So I'm thinking you're right about the scifi category..
  2. What is twice as deadly than a fire-breathing dragon? A combat-ready dragon harnessed with modernized weapondry and armor. This dragon reigns fire and death over all of those who are its enemy on the battlefield, on both ground and air. Death from Above.
  3. Yes, or trying to. His head is already completed, but not his body. Here's the link - This guy is seriously HUGE, and will be perhaps the largest moc I'll ever make. But I've run out of parts so I guess I'll have to save up and buy more...
  4. You even updated it too? Outstanding work!
  5. Very complex in design. I like some of the landscaping too. Great work.
  6. Thank you very much!
  7. Feeling cold? Then wrap yourself up in a nice blanket of FIRE This is an experimental moc that I made some time ago involving the consuming capabilities of fire. In the forsaken badlands an undefeated Dragon/Demon unleases a streaming blast of fire that engulfs a challenging Knight. Other challengers have come before him (including orcs and other dragons) to slay the beast, only to become prized trophies of the Demon themselves. Always remember to bring your shield when challenging a Dragon, or prepared to get a little burned. A little trick I've discovered when experimenting with fire (no not like that). I used 2 binoculars to make 4x the fire to create a streaming flamethrower from the Dragon's mouth. Think of it as a tube of flame.
  8. Sometimes you'll never know what lies hidden beneath the desert sea of Egypt. A group of explorers and hunters are searching for egyptian treasure in the unknown charts of the desert that could be hidden under the immence pressure of sand below. Doctor Martin and his daughter are leading the expedition in search for the Lost Tomb of Pharozar. He also hired a team of hunters to safeguard them to their destination. A huge storm takes off, and a golden point is revealed from the layers of sand. With luck in their sights, the team rushes to the site and begins to dig in hopes for vast riches and archaeological discoveries. Or will they find a curse instead? Leading Hunter: "Why don't you be of some to use Doctor Bob and help us dig? After all, I don't believe YOU are paying me and my buddies?" Doctor Martin suggests that the golden point is actually the very tip of an obelisk. The digging would take at least several weeks to complete, as the team were already hard at work. "Why are you taking your time? You think we're on a vacation? Dig faster!" Finally a clearing is made and the entire obelisk is dug out. But something lies hidden beneath that holds something unexpected and terrible for our hunters. As the team unearths the tomb, skeletal remains appear from the sand. Right at the foot of the stone, there was large stone tablet blocking access to the tomb. But they had to move quickly for the sun was going down. As the team were investigating the tomb, Doctor Martin analyzes the bones. The hunters emerged from the tomb, furious that they couldn't find anything of value. But Martin was still focused on the skeletal remains. Doctor Martin said: "This must be a clue to the secrets of Pharozar!" But the others were skeptical and were about to leave. However... Little do they know of what lurks behind as a monster looms over them. Having been abruptly awoken by the hunters, Mummified Raptors are forced out of their slumber, now hungery for fresh "flesh". Uh-oh, poor Bob... and everyone else. The End. I combined two themes. Pharaoh's Quest and Dino Attack. Enjoy. For the full details of the story go to my Mocpages
  9. Why did I not see this topic earlier? Thank you Janitor!
  10. I made this a while back, but I'm delighted to share the ensuing CHAOS. I reject you reality and substitute my own! This episode is from Season One Episode Two, and a favorite. Can someone really explode a gas station by using their cellphones? (Btw, No minifigs were harmed in the making of this moc) In the overly cluttered trophy room, Adam and Jamie (or the walrus, hehe) get an email (or mail) for another myth for them to do. A classic scene. Adam and Jamie were blending fuel and air for a spark, resulting in a small explosion. But Adam got too close. That's when he said, "Am I missing an eyebrow?" But sometimes I think Jamie is a sadistic and a very cruel man by just watching Adam get hurt (I'm being sarcastic) In the end the myth was busted. Go to my Mocpages for the full episode that was made into Lego. Here's the full Themed Tower, of Mayhem! Mwahaha! ....Ugh.. Remember: Don't try this at home!! This was made purely for entertainment and not for self use.
  11. I like how everything connects well. Nice little story attached to him (or it) too.
  12. I truthfully didn't know that. Sorry for the trouble.
  13. Oh, it works. I must be some kind of a moron. Now I need to find a way to delete this topic...
  14. Does anyone know why we can't view other member's profiles? When I do click on them Eurobricks says that I'm not permitted, even when I try to look at my own! I don't know why this feature isn't allowed. Just curious.
  15. How silly of me not to include a link. Here you go! This includes some WIP's as well.
  16. My next batch of these highly addictive Pokemon. Get ready for some big guys! Featuring Feraligatr, Magmortar, Empoleon, Rhydon, Infernape, and Samurott. Up first is the juggernaught Magmortar, the evolved form of Magmar. This guy has a high Sp.Atk rate and can unleash consuming flame from it's arms that act as cannons. Don't want to mess with him. Next is the wild Infernape. One of the Sinnoh starters, this flaming monkey can be used as a mixed sweeper to quickly dominate over it's opponents. With his fiery nature, Infernape is said to be most competitive when it comes to speed. He is a little taller than he should be though. One of favorites is Feraligatr, the bulky crocodilian Pokemon. He is most notably known for his battle-like stature, as well as his powerful jaw. Feraligatr moves faster in water than in land, then brutally attacks its opponents by dragging them down into the depths. Back view Number four is the Steel/Water type Pokemon Empoleon. Empoleon is a large penguin-like Pokemon that is full of pride and majesty. His body looks similar to a tuxedo. A light clicked on in my head when I saw the trident just laying in my weapons storage. I wonder what are the other uses of weapons I haven't thought of using before... I am completely unfamiliar with these new Pokemon, but I have attempted to make the popular Samurott. Though I think I stunk when trying to make his tusks (or moustache?). Anyways, he is like a samurai and a sea lion, this guy is covered with a shell-like armor and can reveal two hidden swords for close combat. Number six is Rydon, a dinosaur-like Pokemon. Rhydon's horn is capable of drilling through rocks and even creating tunnels. His strong hide is like armor that can withstand immense physical damage even a cannonball blast. He even has other strange features as well. Some have even said that Rhydon has the ability to surf as well. After seeing a good part usage for his horn, I have constructed Rhydon to become more like a titan (that's why he's a little bigger than he should). Back view Here's a group shot of everyone together with two Poke-fails, Gardevoir (who was too simple) and Electabuzz (or ElectaBust, who looks nothing like him...) I hoped you enjoyed them.
  17. I need to look into that road elevation technique of yours. Very useful!
  18. A simple and yet ingenious idea! Building rocks and sand OVER the temple took me by surprise. Good work.
  19. I think it's about time that I start being active on this site. So much fun! For those who have not seen my work before, I mainly specialize in making Lego dragons, particularly from last year's film "How to Train your Dragon". So here's some of my old HTTYD mocs. Yes, I know it's a bit late since the movie came out, but it's some of my best work and I'd like to share it on Eurobricks. Starting off are all the dragons that appeared in the film (except for the BIG one). The Night Fury The Deadly Nadder The Gronckle The Zippleback The Terrible Terror The Monstrous Nightmare Here's some more juicy extras The Village Attack Can you spot the Night Fury? Hiccup and the gang Whew... that was alot... I hope you enjoyed them! Hopefully this year I'll start making Vol. 2, which surrounds the dragons from the Dragon Book (Timberjack, Scauldren, etc). As well as the Red Death (if that's even possible).
  20. You might have seen my stuff before on Flickr and Mocpages, but I'll post it here in case you missed out. btw, this is my first post! :) So here is my Pokemon Compilation #1 that features Marowak, Cubone, Magmar, Latios, Scyther, and Gallade. I tried to make Pokemon that have not been made into Lego before (I've been seeing alot of Charizards and Lucarios around lately) First up is Marowak and Cubone. With the new bone pieces out, I thought of these guys and used a white droid torso for Marowak's skull. Next is Magmar. A strong pure fire-type. One of my favorite Pokemon is Latios, a major powerhouse to any team. Just give him Soul Dew, and say bye-bye to your opponent. Gallade, a Psychic/Fighting type that has sword-like arms makes him an instant pick for my team. With the combination of green and teal katana's, Gallade is certainly my second favorite here. My entire team. I get around posting my Compilation Team #2 soon.
  21. That was a quick reply, but very helpful. Thanks a bunch!
  22. I'm very new here, so sorry for the obvious. There are ALOT of categories and themes on Eurobricks so I'm wondering where to post images of my mocs correctly without messing up. I have alot of fantasy castle mocs that also include dragons, so I don't know if I should upload them in Historic Themes (which sounds historic, right?) or Scifi. Also I'm curious which themes do these go in: Pokemon, Military, Non-Castle Creatures, and Mecha. Thank you.
  23. Hello Eurobricks, my name is Taylor (23 yrs) or known as Stormbringer (my original name was Unitronus) on Mocpages and Flickr. Many might know me for my HTTYD mocs and castle stuff that I make. I'm native from Philly (or Philadelphia, PA) but moved to Lancaster now. I had my eye on this site for a while but not really getting involved. I've noticed the large gathering of top builders here and others too that I haven't heard of before. So I decided to join and to see what all the buzz was about with Eurobricks (as well as looking for some helpful advice for future mocs). Here's my story. 5 years ago ever since I've been "exposed" to the online Lego community I realized that my multi-colored mocs was not going to make me a Lego master... But that didn't stop me. I started (or tried) to get in shape (organizing, NOT throwing away what I think are useless parts, etc). At first I tried to make impossibly large projects (to get recognized in the community) that I could never complete, which only ended in utter failer. Around 2008 I went into some pretty hideous Dark Ages.. In 2010 I struggled out of my Dark Ages with new courage and had to learn my Lego ways again. After being inspired by a few builders and films, I focused myself on my builds and was surprised when my creations started turned out successful in the community. Some of my favorite themes are Castle, Space, as well as Mecha, Dragons, Creatures, Post-Apoc, and some Pirates. I like to open myself to new themes and try to make different things too. So that is my little testimony of how I came to Lego. Here's some of my work on http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/9977 Now that I'm officially here, any suggestions on what I should do first?
