Yeah, maybe. Would definitely be a smart move to utilize elements of the books on the D2C, it could catch the interest of fans of the books who don't like/care for the movies.

Well, Star Wars spent a decade without any new movies released and it's line remained as strong as it ever was during that time. And TLC had even less material than HP to work it.

It may not be movie or books accurate but I really love the purple outfit that LEGO utilizes on Snape. I think that he's gonna be double-faced and I imagine that the other side will feature a more neutral expression. Altough I have to say that the white shirt is slightly bothering me.

Indeed, the Great Hall and the main tower are the most iconic parts of Hogwarts.

Yep, I agree. Great Hall is a great standard set but not the quality I expect from a D2C/UCS set.

A new Chamber of Secrets set would be a day one purchase. I hope we get at least the main Hogwarts staff (Dumbledore, McGonagall, Snape, Sprout, Flitwick, Trelawney, Filch, Hagrid, Madam Pomfrey, Madam Hooch) either as CMFs or on sets in order to populate Howarts.

I imagine that a Hogsmeade set will feature Honeydukes, the Three Broomsticks and maybe the Shrieking Shack?

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, Hogsmeade and the Ministry of Magic are a must down the line.

That's my line of thought as well, people who aren't able to afford the UCS will most likely get the Great Hall set.

I can see the Hogwarts Hall set being like a miniature version of the D2C for the people who won't be able to afford it.

Honestly, I wouldn't put it past a different version of the Hall on the D2C set. I just find hard to picture a D2C Hogwarts without the two most iconic aspects of the castle that is the main tower and the Great Hall.

Holy shit, a $600 Hogwarts. The $800 Falcon has 7541 pieces, could a $600 Hogwarts has 5500-6000 pieces? For reference, the biggest Hogwarts set to date is 4842 and has 1290 pieces.

It’s mostly rumours and especulation, for now. That is, in my opinion, the biggest problem with Hogwarts. it’s a set that needs to be appealing on both the interior and the exterior. but personally, I’d rather have a Hogwarts with tons of rooms and playability on the interior than a gorgeous Hogwarts with subpar playability.
