  1. I’m convinced this is because the last April set is Duel on Exegol, and they’ve kept it quiet for as long as possible to ensure theaters everywhere have finished their runs of the film. My local theater only had it’s final showing just last week.
  2. So excited the full summer list leaked. Can’t wait to get full details / pics! Going to be an expensive year for this PT fan. Although I admit, Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor will need to have an impressive minifigure line up, it feels like we just got it, several times... Still waiting on those clone starfighters...
  3. My money’s on Duel on Exegol is the last April set. By far makes the most sense all things considered. That brings us to: - *Duel on Exegol* - Night Buzzard - AT-AT - Soulless One - AAT
  4. Same here. Seems extremely likely actually given the Soulless One is coming. TLG (and kids) love vehicle pairs. Plus it’s the only good match that could realistically fit the $30 tag. Honestly disappointed though if that’s the case. We need Troopers, not our hundredth Jedi fighter. We shall see.
  5. Thank you for clarifying. I should have made clear I was only taking a stab at it. Anyways, when are these last two Clone Wars sets going to leak huh?? ? I’d just like to know what remakes are coming. Still holding out hope we may someday see the V-19 Torrent again like was rumored last year (it’s never going to happen guys)
  6. MDP (Mandalorian Disney Plus)
  7. So again, right now we’re looking at: - Night Buzzard - AT-AT - Clone Wars Era AAT AND - Soulless One all as confirmed leaks and the Soulless One is the only image that has leaked so far, right?
  8. Last year’s battle packs, specifically the Tatooine battle pack and the Jedi and Clone Trooper (unfortunately because they for some reason decided to add named Jedi no one wants repeats of) battle packs did not sell well at all and are still flooding store shelves in many places, not leaving room for the most recent battle packs. This most likely caused LEGO to reconsider their approach. Unfortunately rather than realizing the actual problem (that both AFOLs and kids want battle packs for army building, not collecting random rare figures) I expect Tidy is correct and we can expect the new standard to be 2 battlepacks a year for the time being.
  9. Looking at these new action attack sets, I can’t help seeing command posts from the original Star Wars Battlefront games... Does anyone else see the resemblence? Thinking very far into this, but on the topic of Star Wars Battlefront and LEGO potentially coordinating marketing with EA, there’s supposed to be an update for the current game (EA’s Star Wars Battlefront II) releasing this month bringing back the classic game mode of capturing command posts from the original games which has been HIGHLY anticipated by the game’s community. I can’t help but feel this new LEGO theme is also a nod to EA’s Battlefront alongside being aimed at children. The builds are underwhelming of course for the target audience, but we all have to admit the minifigures are well done and included in bulk (at least for the Hoth set) which is rare these days, even for the so called battle packs of recent years, and AMAZINGLY include actual weapons instead of stud shooters. I actually hope LEGO continues with this theme going forward. I would be overjoyed to see the same thing done for the battle of Geonosis, Kashyyyk, and even Naboo from the prequels. It’s great for kids, and could be the best opportunity AFOL have had in ages to get relatively cheap sets for army building once again.
  10. I agree with you guys it’s a 2019 situation but it should be in a different thread. Am personally getting annoyed at the pages and pages of “Finch talk” and no new info on 2019 sets. Meanwhile I’m still taking the time to read through all these new posts about Finch to see if there’s actually something relevant to what this thread is actually supposed to be about. Move Finch to a new thread. I don’t care.
  11. Thought that was a possibility. Here’s hoping.
  12. Whatever happened to the V-19 Torrent rumor from last year?
  13. Someday they will. Just might take another 20 years.
  14. Preach. Say it louder so the LEGO Group can hear you.
  15. Oh I realize! Still dreaming of the day that will never come when someone asks a designer “What about the droid attack on the Wookiees?” and we get a UCS Juggernaught. (yes I know it will never happen but at least with the newly announced Master Builder series we could get a Battle of Kashyyyk) Anyways the poorly designed 2016 Juggernaught is part of my frustration with this year’s AT-RT, as again the best feature of that set was the mini build (an accurately scaled AT-RT) and not the actual main build itself. It’s a repeated issue with PT sets. The designers rarely seem to spend the same attention to detail as they do for OT sets. Just look at that Slave 1! Beautiful. Give me a Juggernaught designed by that guy with the same amount of effort.
  16. True, I’ll admit that. Although they arguably receive the same amount of screen time (5 seconds) ha ha.
  17. The sets look good. Extremely disappointed we got ANOTHER OT Slave 1 and still no Jango’s. It is clearly the best rendition of the ship so far though not including UCS. Have to say, I was most excited for the AT-RT, but am starting to feel cheated that LEGO refuses to give us an AT-RT Driver. I was seriously planning on buying an excessive amount of this set as I had much higher hopes. - The color scheme (green) is wrong, and now doesn’t match any of the other Kashyyyk sets. - The design is a straight copy of the old 501st version which was again TOO BIG (come on, this was the strongest criticism of the last AT-RT, it’s not supposed to be as tall as the Juggernaught). - ANOTHER standard Kashyyyk Scout Trooper. Come on. Why don’t PT fans deserve the same appreciation OT fans are getting with Zuckuss? Aside from that, it’s so overdue... This was the set to do it. Now I’m sure we’ll never get one and it’s just a shame. The only thing I really like about the set is that we finally got Lego’s official version of the Wookiee gun emplacements from the battle. Admittedly wasn’t expecting that and am happy about it, but it’s such a waste that’s the only thing I like about this set.
  18. Eagerly awaiting updates on the Clone Scout Walker remake. Has anyone confirmed yet that we WON’T finally be getting an AT-RT Driver clone trooper variant with this set? Hopes are high. It’s now or never.
  19. This upset me initially at first as well. I was actually more confused that LEGO would create a separate helmet for the Imperial Scout Troopers when I’ve been waiting for them to update to the same helmet as the Clone Scout Troopers since 2014. I looked into it, and after all these years I can’t believe I never realized the Clone Scout Trooper helmet is actually an entirely different phase of Scout Trooper armor than the Imperials. There are three phases of Scout Trooper armor. Phase I being seen on Clone ARF Troopers, Phase II seen on the Clone Scout Troopers from Revenge of the Sith, and Phase III being the Imperial Scout Trooper armor. Compare any picture of Imperial Scout Troopers with the image below and you’ll see the visor is less profound and the helmet overall is more squared off than the Imperials.
  20. Looking like the UCS Cloud City will be the last release of 2018, right? Still I’m trying to keep up to date on the rumors for upcoming sets. Have we heard any news since the announcement of the August wave? What about the talk of a dedicated Mimban Trench set? And of course, any news about the rumored V-19?
  21. The discord legoleaks was taken down. Will the next wave of sets be the 2019 winter wave? I’m still hunting for information on the rumored V-19 from this year...
  22. Has anyone seriously discussed the possibility that the Imperial Landing Craft was actually mistaken for the V-19 which started the rumor? The description matches in a way as well, if the Sandtroopers were mistaken for Rex and Cody respectively. I hope this isn’t the case as the V-19 is the one rumor I’ve been closely following this year, but I’m worried. That Landing Craft came out of nowhere.
  23. In the trailer there is a split-second shot of what I’m 90% sure is an AT-RT, and it looks as though it’s being deployed from some type of drop ship. Perhaps the Y-45. If that is the model of walker in that shot I’d love to see the Imperial rendition of it like we did in Rogue One with the HAVw A9 Juggernaut. Edit: Just looked this up, didn’t realize we were getting ANOTHER new walker in Solo. I agree the AT-DT must be paired with the Y-45. I’m sure we’ll get a Lego version that pairs up sometime in the future. Man I just want my AT-RTs to make a comeback...
