  1. Hello lego enthusiasts alike. I've been working on my lego techniques over the past month and decided to build a 4 door saloon. Its no particular motor vehicle manufacturer but just something to get me going into brick building. I still cant seem to upload pics so I will just add a link somewhere here to my flickr page. I would rather upload pics right here which I still plan to do once I figure it out. I have a samsung note 8 and have tried in the past to upload and it's an issue for some reason.. Here is a link, let me know what you think as it's still in progress and welcome suggestions. Cheers. https://www.flickr.com/photos/90937828@N06/
  2. Hi I appreciate your detailed comments here. Very useful and informative. I will apply this to my moc.
  3. Before I start I have tried image upload and have never succeeded in many years. I have searched some images from lego catalogs to try and figure out where I'm going wrong here. I have inserted hinge 19954 into my moc and the door does not close or open properly. I understand there should be a small gap but I have seen many mocs built with no gaps. Is there a solution to open and close with no friction and/or maybe an appropriate link ? The only way the hinge has worked for me for a door to close and open properly is from the Volkswagen 10220 but it has a 1 brick gap. I am trying to install the hinge seamless with no gaps.. Thank you.
  4. Picked up a used 42100 yesterday for $400 CD. Already built. We disassembled it and going to rebuild it with much more bricks. I find this huge set has far to many beams. We will attempt to completely modify it using bricks and plates etc... and much much less beams.. perhaps efferman ?? Will come up with somethinv. I purchased your instructions on the liebherr and it was amazing..
  5. It is steep but it keeps with TLG price point. I will only purchase the parts I dont have ie.. new power functions, hubs, linear actuators etc.. I have all the bricks. Will be a fun build.. I hope they include a B model of a bull dozer..
  6. How do you know it's not? Do you know what is ?
  7. Yes correction, 3L pins are orange here as well.
  8. From where I'm sitting, image no4 the 2 bushings are orange and the technic pins with hole are yellow. If you say the pins are orange then what color are the 2 bushings in image #4 ? Theres a distinct difference in color.
  9. Now that's some interesting revealing close ups. Looks like the turntable is in unison with the large gear track.. thanks for the link.
  10. Oh ok. I work in this industry using a 390f and 973k and the sprocket fluid level here are checked and filled right at the sprocket. There is also a hydraulic tank for expansion, contraction and fill.
  11. Typically the hydraulic pumps are external with hoses going from the pumps to the cylinders, turntable, drive sprockets etc.. unless liebherr states in there technical manuals that the pumps are internal..
  12. The hydraulics run the tracks and cylinders through hydraulic pumps. This is most common in heavy equipment.
  13. Yes I agree. The rear sprockets are exposed to check and fill the hydraulic fluid. The front is equipped with a large roller and doesnt need any maintenance other than when it wears out and needs replacing but not very often.
  14. I'm hoping for the PR776 as well, that would be just brilliant. Another hoe with the reversed bucket IMHO is not really pushing TLG design team is it.. In any case I'm looking forward to obtaining the instructions and purchasing the new control system- as I already have large investments in technic pieces and bricks..
  15. Approx $520 USD, and $700 for me in Canada..
  16. 4 gear racks fit into your interpretation here after a quick assembly. This may be precisely what TLG has done. Good catch here @Pruimke.
  17. I have the instructions on pdf. Send me a PM on how to send them to you.
  18. This is why assumptions are allowed. Let the accusations light up. This wouldn't be my first time being wrong nor my last. This would be a great time for TLG to incorporate both electric and pneumatic killer combination in this new system. Cant wait !!
  19. I'm glad you can add. I hope you can add. Ok and your suggesting the hoses run to each cylinder, which is correct Assumptions are ridiculed for a reason. This model has displayed a variety of new lego parts, can we agree to this ? Are these t-pieces identical to the older style? The only evidence i see is that there's a gear at the bottom of the LA which may be powered by a motor. At this stage of the info released by lego we can all assume until the full reveal. The hoses may certainly be cosmetic or maybe more to this than we know. The instructions will tell us both something that we dont know.
  20. I think your right. I noticed the rollers below structure turning on a possible new turntable design or perhaps a supplementary system support for the older style turntable. Interesting though..
  21. Why wouldnt they power anything up ? Do you have the instructions to this model ? inside info that those hoses are not hooked up to anything or just assuming you already know that it's purely cosmetic? These hoses may be feeding something that we dont know yet. But again I assume nothing here.. soon well all find out. But this is getting interesting. I'm on board with rener, I would like to see pneumatic powered boom, stick and bucket.
  22. Yes I see that but who knows where and what those hoses power up. And yes could be just cosmetic.
  23. How do you know for certain it's just decoration. Of all we know theres a compressor in the engine bay powering up something..
  24. The good thing i see here is that finally we will have an instruction set that can rival the likes of shineyu.( and I mean this with all the respect to shineyu ) Most of us may have a ton of bricks as I do. I'm not a big fan of large panels so I'll substitute with tiles, plates etc. We can also add beams to create the larger actauators.. exciting stuff !!
