how? it's not something coming from the nostalgia well, it's just something new for the movie -

If you look at the article, every toy company revealed their versions of the same Dinos. All of which were clearly visible in the trailer. It was clearly just a coordinated partial merch reveal -

So excited to finally be getting a Spino! hopefully this means we'll get a JP3 one soon now that the necessary molds exist. I will certainly be getting the Moasasaur/spino set, but the rest i'll need to wait to see what the full set is -

I was the exact same way as a kid. Honestly, still the same now. I've only ever intentionally gotten one of any specific battle pack, so I've preferred sets like the bounty hunter battle pack, praetorian guard, and the clone troopers vs droidekas over stuff like geonosis troopers that are more massable but more obscure. -

I think you are missing Mando in your calculations here. I know a large number of people that had never watched Star Wars at all before that show and are big fans of it now because of that show. -

I truly think the issue with this wave lies with the fact that so much of it is 18+ sets. We've never had them this dominant before and thus there is less playsets to have variety with in the first place. When we got 35 playsets a year it didn't matter if 20 were based on one thing, there were still lots of slots to go around. But when there is only what, like 10 playsets in a year, having 8 be prequel era sets hurts more for people who don't want them. -

Fateful says the MTT has Bly Aaylaa and 10 b1s. Gotta say, that's real disappointing. was really hoping we would get some unique separatist character pretty par for the course though with this wave -

This finally gives me a reason to buy the Dark Falcon besides the figures. Amazing alt build! -

Yeah the combined clues of "don't get your hopes up" and "It's being kept secret" feel almost diametrically opposed. Once again, and Andor set feels the most logical, as it could have an OT set remake as a part of the show, but we've been told we already know all the Andor sets, and it wouldn't be kept a secret unless it had at least one character from the show. I guess a set based on an animated show that is going to be announced at Star Wars Celebration in April would be possible, but I don't see how that would be uninteresting. Unless it's a clone based show and they were just saying don't get your hopes up about sets without clones, but I feel like people would have interest in a new property even if it was that. -

Yeah, the 327th set is absolutely gonna be easy to get on discount. I'm interested in the legion but it does not sound worth that price tag in the slightest. -

judging by the set being $40, I'd bet the build will be similarly sized to the one in the 501st battle pack from 2020 -

looks like we have further details for the battle packs. 75412 - 119 pieces - 2 death troopers 2 night troopers - patrol gunship build 75431 - 258 pieces - 4 clones 3 super battle droids - At-rt and spider droids for the builds And 75428 is a buildable B1 for $100 Gotta say the buildable droid confirmation is a big disappointment -

I absolutely agree with all this. I wish Lego would just consider 18+ its own theme with it's own budget rather than having it cut into the existing Star Wars budget. Clearly they were selling sets well long before 18+ took half a wave, and I have to assume they are going to start loosing some of their old sales as their individual years get less varied like this year or last. -

33 was done practically, and even if it was CG, lego bases most of their sets off concept art anyway. It was more likely a mold cost problem since they already made neel, as others have suggested -

Another Sequel fan to add to the number here too! I would love to see a new Black One and another First Order troop transport would be a good way to have some faction balance while not having just a First Order TIE. -

In addition to what everyone else has already stated, people are more likely to talk repeatedly if they have negative feelings than positive feelings. Most people who like what's coming have posted one comment and then stopped while people who aren't happy keep talking about it. Just the nature of the internet, it's easier to talk about what you don't like than what you do. I for one am way more excited about this wave than last year's. Rebuild the galaxy didn't do anything for me and I just didn't care for most of the other sets in the wave as a long time fan that already had many of the sets being remade. I love the design of the UT-AT and am just happy to be getting sets we've never had before. Only complaint I have is that there are way to many 18+ sets. Why are there so many buildable characters -

Yeah, the resistance bomber from Last Jedi and the resistance transport from the force awakens are about the only fully original designs that are prominent enough to get sets again. The Raddus too, but that's too close to the Home One, and since we haven't gotten a system scale version of Home One yet I'd be shocked if they made the Raddus first. Personally I'm a bigger First Order fan though, and they actually have new designs that could be made. I would absolutely love a UCS First Order Dreadnaught. -

Renown confirming the set number and saying we should temper expectations absolutely makes me think that the theory the quote is referring to a V-19 is correct. -

I think the tie advanced theory seems the most likely to me. A set of just the tie advanced seems like a good fit into the summer lineup, and this feels like a very Renown way to tease it. The quote referring to Vader taking out gold leader and the fact we have formerly had a tie advanced y wing duel pack means there’s more than one way to interoperate tie advanced as what’s being teased. Plus as multiple people have pointed out already, Renown hasn’t teased solely what’s not coming before. Not that it couldn’t change, but it would be against the trend. -

I would be so happy to get some TK troopers. I have the old imperial v-wing set and I’d love to be able to put some TK’s with it to have a good early empire display. -

While I agree there is a high likelihood that the troopers won’t get pauldrons, i think there is a chance that since bly has an identical one, they’ll include them for everyone, as they will have already made the part, so using it more is more economical. -

At the very least I have to assume the gap between the dark Falcon and the next one will be shorter than the 5 year gap between the 9 Falcon and the dark Falcon. It’ll probably be more like how the solo Falcon was around for 2 years before it got replaced. Absolutely agree with this idea, but the fact they made nein nunb an anniversary figure makes me doubt they’ll ever do that. I hope they prove me wrong though. -
