  1. Thanks ;)
  2. Thanks, glad you like it :)
  3. Of course this is fake :D I only added it to this one photo because it fits more my today mocing style ;)
  4. Thanks. Yes, there were some torsos that would have fit better, but at that time they were either too expensive or they weren't available at all.
  5. Anybody knows the Kelly Family? This is the motorhome used by Angelo Kelly, their youngest son, and his family to make their journey through Europe from 2010 till 2013, called the Off Road Tour. I originally designed the camper for my wife as a birthday present early in 2017. I think, today I would build this model more detailed but also much more fragile. And since my wife should be able to build it by instructions and there was the eventuality that our kids would play with it afterwards, I then put a focus on playability and relatively easy building steps. I tried to build the exterior as detailed as possible as long as it fits my mentioned goals (and according to my mocing skills in early 2017 ;) ). Finally the interior is reminiscent of the interior of the original motorhome - an alcove, a seating area in the front, a kitchen in the middle, bunk beds in the back and the bathroom in the rear. To be able to play with and in the camper, the roof can be removed. In order to be able to put a driver in the car, in a second step the alcove can be removed, too. You can also open and close the door to the living area. This posting is ment for showing you the camper and not for gathering supporters. But since I'm writing it anyway, I don't want to leave unmentioned that for reasons I submitted it to LEGO IDEAS, too. So, if you like it, feel free to visit and you-know-what... 6. Thank you :)
  7. Thanks :)
  8. This is my interpretation of The Burrow. I call it an interpretation because my daughter looked at it and immediately said that the original Burrow wasn't that pink ;) I built this moc for the "Microscale Magic" building competition on The Brothers Brick. It is my first real microscale moc and it is the first moc, in which I fully considered that exactly one photo should be submitted. The back does not look as comfortable as the front. It is purely functional ;) The Burrow by Versteinert, auf Flickr
  9. Thanks a lot :)
  10. Anyone who knows the TV show "Gilmore Girls"? This is Luke's diner with some characters from the show around. The moc already has a long prehistory. As an LDD version I submitted it to LEGO Ideas last year. It reached the 10k supporters in only three weeks, but unfortunately it was rejected by the review board at the beginning of 2018. Now I built it in real LEGO bricks, as it will be displayed in September for about three weeks at the LEGO House in Billund, along with other rejected 10k Ideas projects. Of course, I'm aware that I have hit the nerve of all Ideas critics: Licensed stuff and as if this weren't enogh, it is a rendering ;) Anyway, now it is no longer a rendering and it even is no project at LEGO Ideas anymore. So I hope you like it ;) p.s. If you own a facebook acc and you're interested: More informations, links to some articles, the original LDD renderings and the link to the LEGO Ideas project can be found at https://www.facebook.com/versteinert/ (if linking to facebook is not ok, then please remove it. Imo all the link stuff is to much for this entry) Gilmore Girls - Luke's Diner by Versteinert, auf Flickr

  12. Please excuse my late answer. Thank you for your compliments. Great you like my mocs. That's one big compliment. Thank you a lot. Of course I'd have no problems with being more popular, but this isn't that easy ;) I'm not very much into flickr or flickr groups. I created my flickr account just to be able to attache pictures in some forums (for example this one ;) ). Do you have any ideas for some good flickr groups?
  13. After I built the three mini versions of Legos greatest pirate ships some time ago, I now gathered them in one final moc, the Great Caribbean Battle, as it was fought in our childs rooms about 30 years ago ;) The Great Caribbean Battle by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr The Great Caribbean Battle by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr The Great Caribbean Battle by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr The Great Caribbean Battle by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr The Great Caribbean Battle by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr
  14. Actually I wanted to add a mirror, but since I changed the lower cabin part I had to remove it. Thinking about your critics I found a way to nevertheless add the mirror. Hope you like it a bit more than the first version :) Rat Rod Sedan by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr I now finished the second rat rod as well. Again it's built to display some whitewall tyre techniques. This time it is some Ford Coupé, the owner let the original straight six built in, no change to a v8, but some modifications at the exhaust ;) Rat Rod Coupé by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Rat Rod Coupé by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Rat Rod Coupé by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Rat Rod Coupé by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Rat Rod Coupé by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr
  15. Actually I only thought about ways to build whitewall tires only of original Lego parts. Therefore I needed some car to display them. I saw some cool Rods built by flickr member 1saac W. and Johnni D, so I decided to build my own Rat Rod. This is not a specific model, but it is near some Ford Sedan. Additionally I was inspired by some mocs I found on the www which appeared to be built by flickr member Calin. Perhaps these guys are members of this forums too, they do some great work :) Rat Rod Sedan by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Rat Rod Sedan by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Rat Rod Sedan by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr
  16. Thank you all :) I'm already gathering ideas for the next postapocalyptic vehicle...
  17. A friend of mine showed his new pc game to me - some postapocalyptic egoshooter. Since I was in this postapocalyptic stuff when I was younger, I had to build some Mad Max style truck after having freshed up my imagination this way :) It was kind of a speed build for me, since I didn't order any parts (normally i do so). People in the Mad Max universe also have to build with those parts, they have in stock ;) Postapocalyptic truck by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Postapocalyptic truck by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Postapocalyptic truck by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Postapocalyptic truck by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr
  18. Thank you all very much.
  19. I built this vignette for a Lego Rebrick contest. It shows a sewing room, settled at some point between 1900 and 1920, of course without claim to historical correctness ;) Old Sewing Room by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Old Sewing Room by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Old Sewing Room by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr

  21. I guess this one would be too big for the bottle. The bottleship set should arrive here soon, then i could try it ;)
  22. Yes, it's the die. I don't know any sets with this part which of course doesn't mean that it wouldn't be possible for the future ;)
  23. Some months ago I posted a mini version of the Black Seas Barracuda. Since that one actually should have been the Caribbean Clipper (I didn't have enough blue bricks for the sails) and one or another asked me to build the Caribbean Clipper as well, now I did it and here it is: Caribbean Clipper by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Caribbean Clipper by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr Caribbean Clipper by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr
  24. Hi there, I just found out that obviously it isn't against the rules to share Lego Ideas projects or in this case contest entries. I know, I'm a bit late, but I nevertheless want to show you my entries to the Lego Ideas "Moments in space" contest. You know, I would be very glad if you vote for them and perhaps could leave a comment. Thanks in advance :) My first one is the Rocket-catching alien . As I decided to just build an alien from simple bricks, there were most spaceships and rovers submitted and I thought it was something different to add just an alien. As I'm not native english speaking, I didn't understand the rules completely and thought that every special brick (like minifig tools and so on) would be denied. That gave the alien this mixel style ;). Well, and to give it something to play and tell a short story about it, I built a tiny rocket as well... My second entry is the Dark side of the moon. It's a rotatable model of the moon with an astronaut (Neil Armstrong?) on one and an alien on the other side. I started building this few days before the submission period would end. This time I got, that minifigs and some tools are allowed. I originally built it with a tiny lunar module instead of the rocket, but unfortunately this first version was denied by the Lego Ideas team just few hours before the submission period would end. So I had to fast change the entry. Though I didn't have time to build a completely new spaceship or something, I just added the rocket of my other entry. Unfortunately it was too high to turn the rotatable moon. Therefore I had to enlarge the stand a bit. Meanwhile I built a lower rocket and therefore could lower the stand a bit again as well. I updated my entry, but the update function isn't really implemented yet. So I'll post a picture of the updated model as well. And the updated version: And just to show you, what I'm talking about: The lunar module out of the first version of my "Dark side of the mooon"-entry. I had the US-flag removed, but it was nevertheless rejected. After asking I was told that the lunar module would be the problem. Mond2_astr by Versteinert MOC, auf Flickr
