Minifig Customization Workshop Contest 2011
LuxorV replied to LuxorV's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
To answer your question in order: - decals must be made by you only; - inappropriate figs include excessive gore, sexual or extremely violent attutudes and so on; - soldiers, police, etc. are allowed as long as they fit the categories; - sculpting clay and stuff are allowed (again, only for parts made by you). It reads: 'digital added decals or parts' colour changes will not be allowed'. Sorry if it may look confusing, but that's correct English, as far as I know -

What happens when the world runs out of petroleum?
LuxorV replied to brickmack's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For that matter, scientists are trying to get fuel from oil shales and other sources (Germans tryed it towards the end of WWII, already), but they still are too expensive to effectively replace fossil sources. On a side note, most of the fossil fuels come from marine organisms. Sorry, dinosaurs will not give you oil as easily -

What happens when the world runs out of petroleum?
LuxorV replied to brickmack's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Confirmed: the fossil oil supply will not end (as it gets re-filled over time, only veeeeery slowly; thus it's said to be non-renewable at human scale). The problem is that the extraction costs will go way through he roof, making it an anti-economical power source. -
Happy Birthday to the both of you! Are you having a day as great as you deserve?

Thanks for the feedback, guys Well, I always seen the standard LEGO trans neon green more yellow-ish than green-ish
-
Very clever use of parts in this bagpipe On a side note, for a moment I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, then I checked the legs' colour actually changes between the first to the last pics
-
Pretty nice fighter, I like the overall armoured still slick-ish feel. Do you plan to add a pilot to it? P.S.: Try fixing the lighting in your pics; that will make dark-coloured MOCs like this stand out more from the background
-
Looks like we're in slow times again, so I'll add a little contribution: just having fun with the old much loved KK2 knights
-
Nice and sleek looking ship, Stefan. The long frontal cannon reminds me of the Swordfish II from Cowboy Bebop. P.S. - Could you please reduce the pics size to 800 pixels maximum, as per our Member Guidelines? Thank you.
-
As to be expected from last year's second place winner, this is an amazing ship I'll have to do my best to have a chance against it, now
-
Please Commander Adama, reduce the pics size to 800 pixels maximum, as per our Member Guidelines? Thank you.

Very nice creation, 74louloute I really like all the techniques and colours you used for the buildings (especially the roofs), and the overall clean and tidy look. -
