Yes, the BSTF Forum is the right area for that sort of promotions. Please make sure to read the rules carefully before posting there, too. -
Dark Knight Rises - Custom Minifigs

Please do not use the MCW to promote your eBay sales. Thanks. -
Thanks for this review, Brickdoctor. I'm always awed by this gargantuan sets. This one seems a whole collection of older Classic Castle sets in one big box! The minifigs are superb, and the overall look is very appealing!

This is indeed a very nice set, and it's presented in an excellent review, JimButcher! While I do not remember the hidden chamber from the book (I never saw the film; and I'm not an alien for that ), I think it works very well with the overall design. Great work, TLG designers.
-
Well, I'm not so hot for this bigger sets (mainly for proportions' sake), but I must say your review makes one reconsider his position a bit. Thanks for sharing it, starstreak!

Thanks for the review, Masked Builder! I really like how this new version of the Jedi Interceptor, except for R2's 'cradle', which makes the wings look somewhat too bulky, imo.
-
Man, how I love this hulk! It's one of my favourite vehicles from all the SW films. Having missed the first LEGO version, I knew I had to get this CW one. Apart for a few gaps in the armour (which can be fixed quite easily) I think it's great. Thanks for sharing this review, Rufus!

I really think TLG and Friends' team designers digged the 'city corner' aspect very well in this polybag. Thanks for another great review, WF.
-
Thanks for this excellent Paradisa review, Pandora. While not mind-blowing, it's a nice little set, which would be a very good addition to the bigger beach oriented sets like the 6411 Sand Dollar Cafe.

RA Anniversary holiday reviewer - For making a review of the 6374 Holiday Home for the 4th anniversary of the Reviewers Academy. Also from White Fang, I suspect.

As always, a very entertaining review, WF. I'm not expert on Batman's Batmobiles, but I think this one looks very cool, especially given the scale.
-
Small but nice set, imo. I really like your 'Evolution of bow & arrow' shot, WF.
-
Thanks for this great review, Masked Builder. I love this set, and even if it's not very accurate film-wise, I find it a useful source of parts and minifigs.

Too bad that video is only available in the Unites States!

Lego Action Themes Photography Thread
LuxorV replied to LuxorV's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks. The Triceratops is my favourite dino right now (probably because is the newest I added to my collection), but the Raptors have a special appeal to them. Thank you. I spent some time trying a number of poses to have them look natural, but I always have this (palaeontological) doubt: how do we know those are their 'natural' poses; in the end it's just the way we envision them. Unfortunately no, I do not have a Pterodactyl, nor a T-rex (at least from this series, though I have the old Adventurers' ones). Your idea for the Ptero shot is really nice, and I'd be happy to see someone try it sooner or later! -
You should check the pinned Index topic; in there, there is a link to the Colour Charts for Decals / Customization by Shadows.

I think it's time for this forum to have its own Photography Thread, as I could not find an older one. I'll start with some pics I took during these holidays, using my LEGO Dino sets (custom items that appear in some shots are from BrickArms): First sighting of the Triceratops. A moment of rest. Don't look back! I like to call this one 'The Three Hunters'. Successful hunter. The crossing. Egg or fruit? Poor Jack was here... I particularly like this last one. Hope you'll enjoy them and you'll contribute with your shots!
