V-LV-18D Hi all, long time has passed since I last posted in this Trains & Town Forum. Recently, after a massive play with LEGO Indy videogame, I had this idea about a luxury/old styled car. I started building, trying to include new techniques (at least new for me ), and a bit of the Shangai Escape car in it. This was my forst outcome: As you can see, it cannot fit a MF. [Pic links to gallery] So, I rebuilt it to fit a MF, and this is what I got: This version is 4 studs longer, but the basic design is the same. [Again, pic links to gallery] How do they look to you? Here are the decals, guys Now some notes Your link doesn't work. Try here at the Fine Clonier; they have all the Indy game decals! I'm sorry, but I don't know how to work on the 2x2 round dome It would come out very bad, and not readable. You could try and print it in the right size (you can easily do that with Word) Now, as I wrote in the other thread, I'm going on holidays for a couple of weeks. I think get what you men. Yes, a half pin would make it look more smooth. On the other hand, I may try and see if I can manage to add the brakes' levers there. A V.2 may be on the way, but it will certainly not be before the second hald of august (I'm going away for a couple of weeks now) . LuxorV

I wouldn't subscribe that: the jeeps from other Indy sets (e.g., Peril in Peru and the Promotionals) are all mono-seat. So, I see no problem in a one seat car in the Shangai escape set. LuxorV

Ok, thanks again Thanks for passing by, BatBrick Yes, I'm really happy with what I got. I started with a somewhat foggy idea of the legs and body and, while building, it shaped itself. I'm always surprised by the way your pieces availability can determine the shape of your creations (not to mention their color )! LuxorV

Hi all, yesterday I had two full hours with nothing to do, so I decided to rebuild my 8838 Shock Cycle. While building it, thought, I decided not to use the eye-catching yellow parts, and to make it a bit more realistic and town oriented. So I ended up with this MOD: Image links to gallery (when public). As you can see, I did not only change the color scheme, but I also added some details. Comments and CC are welcome LuxorV

You can find more mecha MOCs by me in my BrickShelf folder (mainly Exo-Force styled); just use the link in my sign . As for the color of the legs... well I don't know if those pieces are available in black or yellow; what I know is I only have them in white . It was these or very blocky and shorter legs.
