if you look at EXOFORCE theme The 4 heroes: takeshi, hayato, hikaru, & ryo all have 3 different torsos each. ...where as the current ninjago ninjas only have 2 different torsos each. So to make the 2012 wave of sets more interesting it would be wise to introduce 4 new torsos, as this would definitely be good on the sales, as most people are more willing to buy if they are getting something new. Buying a new set with minifigs that you already have isnt as exciting as fresh new minifigs that you don't have. Of note, also from EXOFORCE the master Keiken is like sensei Wu, and the girl Hitomi is like Nya...& the robots are like the skeletons. Can see the similarities from the 2 themes. so the trend may follow.

In the west: I have 3 sizeable factions from fantasy era and kingdomgs line. ie. the crownies, lions, and dragons. In the middle-east: I have prince of persia soldiers as my army and also arab/indian looking soldiers from orient expedition sets. In the far east: I have the various classic ninja factions. And a large chinese army from the orient expedition sets

it would be great to see all the ninjas evolve.. then we have more variety of ninja colours so far we got black red white grey green (from classic sets) and black red white blue (from current ninjago sets) I'd like to see colours like purple orange babyblue (like jay from Kingdoms ii) yellow and pink for nya

since he isnt a regular lego seller, his account could either be hacked, or he stole all those sets from a lego factory/shop or something.. hmmmmmm But selling things for like 1c... how is that possible? i thought the rule was you cannot list anything under 99c.. so starting bids are always at 0.99c ??? But there is a possibility that the selling price was only a few cents however the shipping price was maybe like 10-20 bux which means ebay don't get a share of their profit but they still made money from it. -

Yes indeed, thank you to the organisers who organised this. It was my first time to any Lego event and also my first time to Canberra. I think the event was pretty neat. I'm waiting for someone to post up all the photos of the MOCS from the event. Hopefully here or on the brickexpo site :) Great venue, right next to Woden westfields and public transport. Only a short 15 minute bus trip from Civic City. I was surprised that there was a long line which extended all the way onto the streets outside the Southern Cross Club.!! The place was packed out, and totally opposite to what I had imagined. I ended up lining up for about 1 hour to get in, and about 2 hours of checking out the mocs once inside. The snacks were fitting and alright priced. 60 cents chips if I remembered correctly. The room with the screen was perfect for sitting down and resting after wondering around looking at all the displays. And having a little laugh at the stop motions. The main themes from the MOCs were trains, starwars, space, western, & town. The wow factor was probably most likely the tall sky scraper building due to its size. Retail/business presence included BTTW, BrickInk, & Little Sprouts. There was also a table for joining CLUG or something, did not really look at it as I don't live in Canberra. Hopefully in the future we can see more MOCS and less factory sets, and also perhaps Armys of minifigs such as an army of 1000 castle knights or storm/clone troopers etc. that would look very impressive on a MOC landscape. Overall a very enjoyable experience at the event.

hmm that IS odd !!! i checked the hotel booking sites and it now has room available for the 5th, 6th....... On the day when i was looking it had room for 5th but not for 6th... don't know maybe hotels like to make it look like their full and then a few days later advertise more rooms for a bit more etc... oh well.. i guess i cant complain with the hotel in civic =D 6 more days to gooo !!!

Nice Review!! I got this today and inside the box.. to my amazement... (not covered in your review) it came with a promotional item.. a LEGO plastic storage box with 2 compartments !!!!! But I did buy mine from South Korea, so maybe it's only over there that we get the freebie -
