  1. Worm gears are the least slippy but very slow and knob gears are great but at the same ratio, so good for getting from the motor to the source of operation without loosing force. Knob gears keep the axel at fixed degrees so also very good for alignment then you only need to set the last gear. Also if your having skipping you may want to reduce the mechanical load by reducing the ratio or using larger gears at the same ratio. z8 gears are notorious for skipping and breaking as they are so small. Make sure you have adequate bracing to stop the gears separating, which increases slipping. Place gears right after the brick/beam to stop the axle bending. I think the new yellow differential gears can take a lot of force but you will need to lock the differential which then becomes very bulky
  2. I think pick a brick might go into meltdown with black and red half bushes
  3. The pneumatic hose has been like that for months and they have longer lengths for much less. A lot of there rubber parts seem to be very high 6475469 are £13 each There are now 3 sets that use them so I would expect the price to start falling. Still Black 1/2 Bushes are back in March on the BMW be buying those till they go out of stock
  4. Air Jacks! So 4 pneumatic pistons or just a gear wheel and some axles? This feature needs to be fast to simulate a racing pit stop. so fingers crossed for pneumatics
  5. Thanks but they only have up to Octobers parts I thought the image might have new parts for November?
  6. Is it possible to share the image not using imgur or PM me? As imgur refuse to add age verification to there site so can't be viewed in the UK
  7. Also from the same set is the black z12 not seen since 2002
  8. New Elementary has a new Technics parts review https://www.newelementary.com/2025/07/parts-review-august-2025-lego-technic.html Some very useful recolours in Red and Black coming out
  9. Also I think there is one or two red ones behind that which has not been seen since 2000. Also OCD alert they have miss aligned them on the axel
  10. With all the new suspension parts this year, a multi link suspension might be possible and compact. Wish they would make some super hard mini shocks
  11. The all now on the official Lego store as well now. Can some one clarify is the Bronco standard red as it seems a bit darker than the Ferrari FXX or is that the black parts fooling my eyes?
  12. The new engine mount part is not as good as i though having just seen it in the Ferrari. Its a stud less version of the old part but at least the bottom part is a bit smaller so should fit better. The inclusion of axle holes should open up some other ways to attach an engine
  13. The new engine mount part looks like it could be useful outside or the engine. It seems to be a double bent lift arm with axle holes at each end at 45 degree angles? Also it now doesn’t have the bottom part you can mount a gear flush to the pistons blocks and place a beam on the outside which should help to make engines more compact and more places to mount the engine.
