Are there any rumours about 2021 winter season? An underwater subtheme would be cool.

Here they are selling the astronomy tower for ×1.25 of other 100€ sets. It's ridiculous how official lego stores can just change the prices however they like. It's even worse on other retailers. I bought the hidden side castle for 600₺ and astronomy was 1200₺ there. The set isn't even hard to find yet.

I built the castle today. Loved it. As I went through I felt that the designer really cared for it. It even has a replacement sticker sheet for clear back stickers.

I never said that lego is getting worse on every single theme. The themes I give examples from are star wars and super heroes. Which are obviously lacking in the recent years. Just look at the superheroes sets of 2014-2015. Star wars has no new vehicles that isn't a tie for a long long time. I am not against remakes I am definitely against a remake thats 50% overpriced like the grievous ship. 2 years ago my collection was 90% star wars. Now its only ~40% and I never even bought a single sw set since May 2019. But I want to. I love star wars and I want better sets for it. Lego is getting more expensive over time and it makes it harder and harder to get new sets. But making spesific themes even more expensive and less detailed while making an incredibly detailed new theme for China that is also overpriced is unacceptable. But all these talking has no meaning because I will continue to buy new sets including monkie kid. And I won't be sad as long as I can somehow afford it.

I think that's mainly because we don't see half of this care on other themes. Star wars is overpriced garbege with a bunch of minifigures. Harry Potter has turned from half buildings to quarter buildings which are sill good but only from a single side. Other licensed themes are also pure garbage and even their minifigures are less detailed. Even ninjago is somewhat less detailed when you compare it to monkie kid. And they literally say that they are for Chinese Market. At least for me, this shows that lego sees us and Europe as guaranteed markets and they think they can sell everything with any price. The new "adult" sets with even more inflated prices are also a proof for that(again, its my opinion).

I think the main problem is that Chinese people don't have the money. Minimum wage there is like 350$. I won't be surprised if it sells better in Europe or US. I live in Turkey and the minimum wage is similar here. I know people won't buy these sets. No way. They will probably see 40% discounts before the end of summer like overwatch sets did. And that's mostly because of the prices and not about the sets themselves. They might think that the cultural elements might attract some customers but they are more like an insult to the Chinese culture. I wouldn't like to see ancient stories of my ancestors to be represented by mechas and teen boys with American accessories. If they didn't call it monkie kid and not say thay it's inspired by jttw then it would sell much much better.

Lego is literally doing everything to not sell these sets outside China. In my country even 10€ make an incredible difference in prices. So I will only buy harry potter sets and never even consider buying monkie kid with those prices. If they were priced normally(-20%) I would buy all of them without a doubt.

I have no idea where to display it. It will surely be huge even the system scale ones were big. It will be too wide for a normal sized shelf.

I wish sets like the x-men jet and the second quinjet. Those were cool looking and came with excellent figures. My last hope is the avangers tower but I don't think it will be complete.

I think they should at least cover 3 sides of the builds. The whomping willow set looks awful when all three combines.

That's unacceptable. It should be 50 at most. And that can be considered pushing it. People should began protesting by not buying a single sw set until they change this. I still haven't bought the slave 1 because of its price and that's probably the best priced set of 2019. Even if that's about Disney and not lego. Lego should risk their agreement with Disney. The theme is not even selling that good, whats the point of overpricing?

If that's not 60$ I will buy that instantly.

Well both bugatti, smaller porsche, rover had 30+ stickers. Logos will sure be stickers. Possibly the lights even.

I hate the fact that there will be tons of stickers on this extremely expensive set. These days I have been building tons of technic sets and stickers are really becoming teadious. (I built 2 rovers, porsche 911,volvo autonomous, compact crane, a smale dozer along with speed champions). I think I have applied 200+ and I am just bored of them. I will pass it for that reason.

I think it's quite obvious that a lot gunship votes will come from the fans of that youtuber and his audience aren't afols. Nebulon is a ship that is famous between afols. Since afols are buying the majority of Ucs sets nebulon would probably sell better. I even think most of the fans won't even like the gunship as a ucs because it won't include 10 figures and be minifigure scale.

Does anyone know about the baby yoda brickheads rumour. Is it legit? I don't think they would release it before the actual figure.

I hate that mandr is directing people to vote. His audience is mostly teens and they do whatever he says. They probably won't buy it anyway, since the comments always say expensive to every star wars set. We don't have a chance for system scale nebulon but we are %80 getting gunship this summer. He probably don't even like it beecouse it won't be minifigure scale. When I was younger I liked channels like just2good, mandr but now they are like children. They are so disrespectful(Jangbricks, space fans). Nevertheless I like the gunship and I would buy it. But I think nebulon is a more logical choice.

I would be put off by 3600₺. I know it's almost equal to 1300 australian dollars or 800 american dollars but it's more than avarage engineer salary here. I wish I was born at some other country.

I missed almost all the prequel sets. Its really sad that they are overpricing those that they make recently. Last normal priced prequel set I bought was that jedi ship. 2019 is the worst year for lego star wars imo.(After 2013) But its perfect for those who start collecting recently.

I don't mind 2-3 remakes per year. But the entire wave of a new movie has almost no new designs. Even han solo had 5 new ships. Or Rogue one. They could have made that new tie.
