  2. 604 - Shell Service Car [1978] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/604_shellservicecar errors: missing stickers on 3x2 brick
  3. i can imagine! :) - and instead, i vaguely remember having this one! :D (those blue slopes made me remembering! :D ) - interesting is that one specially catched my attention now when i was rebuilding it as .ldr file! :) (when doing that firstly i though i didn’t have it! :D ) 308 - Fire Station [1958] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/308_firestation errors: 1x8 brick with "LEGO" printed not found (or was that a sticker?); unclear instructions (probably wrong pieces were used);
  4. 356 - Italian Villa [1973] ( 540 - Swiss Villa [1973] ?) http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/356_italianvilla errors: wrong tree
  5. 1551 - Chick [1991] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/1551_chick errors: none (question: are models that simple valid? :D )
  6. 349 - Swiss Chalet [1971] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/349_swisschalet errors: wrong tree
  7. 600 - Ambulance [1970] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/600_ambulance errors: none (also made without instructions, please help verifying)
  8. 626 - Red Cross Helicopter [1978] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/626_redcrosshelicopter errors: missing stickers
  9. 605 - Taxi [1971] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/605_taxi errors: wrong 2x3 bricks, the original “TAXI” is written in a serifed typeface (Clarendon Bold?) printed, not Helvetica Bold (a question, btw: can someone confirm that some late 605 were sold with this more recent brick? anyway, i guess that would be great using the original old one) (i found no instructions online from this one, i made this from the parts list and available photos, i guess there are no errors in this part - actually, the model is quite simple)
  10. 606 - Tipper Lorry [1972] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/606_tipperlorry errors: none (please help verifying)
  11. i don’t know where can we post non-official requests i guess it would be great, since there are very interesting objects that might become very interesting models for example, since London Bus were a quite common official model from Lego, what about a model of this Van Hool shuttle bus? (specially in a wide range of scales)
  12. thanks, i totally forgot them! :D (and they are actually 1x4 bricks)
  13. tried now your version i made a small change over that, all fonts using size 15 - humbly saying, i think it is looking a little bit better (but that huge text size below at the status bar still scares! :D )
  14. 1551 - Sterling Luggage Carrier [1972] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/1551_sterlingluggagecarrier error: missing printed bricks
  15. perhaps we would try to continue about it in another thread like this? yes, @roland , the theme would be a bit like that you’re sharing, perhaps looking a little bit like from actual Blender look, or something else - those huge text sizes are still scaring me a bit about offtopics, sorry everyone, soon i’ll post more models here, i hope it helps disguising them! ;D
  16. i started this one, i really wonder why status bar text is still huge even defining its size as 14, and all those "XXXXX" (@Roland, there you can see how i chosen the typeface) https://pastebin.com/raw/n5U1nEDE
  17. i tried to replace all fonts with Ubuntu font, and the result is this (i wonder why those "XXXXXXXX" appeared instead...) and the text size in the status bar is still huge... and there is still no parts available from .dat files...
  18. setup script? i can’t remember... - everything inside ~/LDCad has 775 permission, so i wonder what might be wrong there (btw, wouldn’t it be better if ~/LDCad could be ~/.LDCad , ~/.config/LDCad or ~/.local/share/LDCad instead? ) for closing, i think i can only use meta+shift+c on awesomewm... :S (i didn’t try yet on other window managers) and thanks for the gui theming tips
  19. 622 - Baggage Carts [1970] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/622_baggagecarts no errors (please help verifying)
  20. 617 - Cowboys [1976] http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano/617_cowboys no errors (please help verifying)
  21. (another question: how can we use other gui themes on LDcad?)
  22. exactly, and thanks! :D - i uploaded their .ldr now at http://bricksafe.com/pages/nitrofurano (screenshots not yet, soon i hope) i also fixed that parts list to ldr converter i shared somewhere here in this forum (i still need to add some colour codes there, i mostly focused on colours used on models up to the late 70’s) (soon i might recode that converter to Python, so MacOS-X, GNU/Linux and BSD users wouldn’t need to install anything for running this script ) i’ll try LDCad again (and perhaps then, again and again! :D ), and try if i can have these libraries working there weird, LDCad isn’t storing new library directories, as well as whatever changes i do on the preferences - am i doing something wrong there? and where is "menu:file/quit" or ctrl+q there? :O (btw, "menu:file/quit" on LeoCad is "menu:file/exit", i also don’t know why! :D ) well, this is weird... (library directory finally accepted, verified by opening LDcad again)
  23. this is the first time i heard LeoCAD uses a zipped library, what i have here installed from the packages from the official Ubuntu repository is almost 10000 .dat files at /usr/share/ldraw/parts/ - i guess that LDCad can access exactly the same library, just like several ZX-Spectrum emulators (like FBZX, Fuse and etc.) can use the same bios rom files, or like Gimp and Inkscape can use the same palette files from linked directories? (btw, about all the models i shared here made from me, i used the wrong yellow on all of them, i should be using colour 14 and used 226 instead... :S - newbie mistakes, sorry everyone... - it seems very simple to be fixed, and soon i’ll update everything )
  24. @Darats thanks for the heads up and motivation - but about comparing LDCAD with LeoCAD, i can’t avoid showing one more issue that demotivates me to use LDCAD: this is a file being opened at LeoCAD: http://xomf.com/lwhqw - and this is the same on LDCAD: http://xomf.com/smdvb - so i guess you can see the point, how can i model or visualize something only with those red crosses? how can we be minimally productive using LDCAD? or did i install LDCAD so badly? or was the version of LDCAD i installed way too obsolete? (and sorry asking all of that....)
