  1. ah true there is one in that although it isnt a modular building dedicated to one shop, do you think it would stick out that much? a lot of the other modular buildings are fairly bright colours, perhaps i could replace the textured brick parts for flat bricks then i think it would fit well
  2. I am back after a month of not doing anything lego related, this time i am back with the town theme and more specific Modular buildings, from what i have seen online we havent had a bakery designed for modular buildings so i thought i would design one and submit it to lego ideas, this design borrows a lot from my Artists Home project, mostly the style which is loosely based on 15th century Italy
  3. seems to be doing well vote wise so far thanks all :)
  4. thank you :)
  5. thats great!, thank you so much

  8. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/6ad74383-a24e-4e68-9e88-83758b29ca26 now on lego ideas
  9. just a small project i have been working on it fits on a normal modular building baseplate, still a work in progress but the main parts of done, there is an inside to this which i will post once its ready, once finished this project will be uploaded onto lego ideas
  10. you may be right, perhaps somthing like the dark red colour? i dont want to go too bright as i dont want it to draw focus/stand out too obviously
  11. Thanks, yeah I was thinking that, I used dark orange for the birdhouse but for some reason I forgot to use it for the front of it
  12. so after posting my lighthouse on lego ideas i got a few comments saying i should try and make an interior for it to make it more of a "playset", i had no idea how to make a really nice rounded tower shape as my other lighthouse was full of technic parts and complicated techniques, however thanks to the UK lockdown/quarantine i have had time to build the hogwarts castle model and the build for the tower was really intresting so i tried to adapt that into my build, i also included a small building
  13. thank you
  14. not seen a lot of western related stuff on here or on Ideas so i thought i would do a project based on this theme, i havent done any fancy images as im still working on some stuff
  15. thanks for the nice words :)
  16. im glad we are getting a pirate set, but i kind of feel bad for the designer, this is not his project all his hard work and detail was kind of scrapped, im glad he got his idea chosen though
  17. thank you, i should of chose a slightly older car thinking about it to make it easier to rust, but yeah i think i should darken some of the inside parts as well hmm that is a good idea, dont know why i didnt think of that
  18. yeah i was going to do totoro but there is already a fair few projects on ideas for that so i thought id go with the very first movie the studio animated, it is also 35 years in 2021 since Studio Ghibli made their first movie my thoughts were if we can get a Studio Ghibli project through it may open up doors to other sets based upon it
  19. Hahah I am indeed 100% where the idea came from Thanks for the nice words
  20. thank you :), yeah they made a load of good films in the 80's/early 90s, ive only seen two of them but i always really liked this design, also if you liked my autumn cabin you might like the other project i posted in the town forum yesterday
  21. i have been working on a small project for lego idea, i saw that studio ghibli projects are now allowed there, its mostly ready for submission, i just need to finish making the custom prints for the two main characters and then i need to decided if i should add prints to the main walls to show the detail
